>Umm so there was this salesman who regularly beat up his customers and called them niggers. He couldn't sell any insurances. But after I told him to be LE NICE to people, he sold 3 thousand insurances in a week!!
>repeat for 50 chapters
So this is the power...of boomer self help books.
>>
>be LE NICE to people
I don't see an argument in your post that somehow contraddicts this truest trvthnvke wisdom of life

>reads self-help books
>overly reductive about everything they contain
you will NEVER make it

You can use all of those ideas in one sentence, apply it flexibly
>>
>>25497565
No that’s not what it says. 4chan is dead, this is a bot trying to piss people off.
>>
>>25497565
this is what modern day grifters would call "kind aura-mogging" and "polite-maxxing" and people like OP would guzzle it right up
>>
>>25497565
Seems like you still didn't get it.
>>
>>25497565
Alright but what do you read after this?
>>
People who hate this book hate it because they think being polite and considerate on purpose is inauthentic; they think their hidden mental state is more important than how they live their life and treat others.

Carnegie explicitly says in the book that it's not about being kind or polite on the outside, but to have a genuine good heart on the inside, and the book asks you to have a true turning of the mind.
>>
>>25500428
I dont believe anyone is actually like that

>polite-maxxing
I actually prefer it when people are nice, but not laying it on overmuch in a fake feeling way.
Like saying "thank you SO much" after buying a candy bar when a simple "thank you" seems so much more proportional and genuine given the action that took place. One feels performative, the other feels just eplan and respectful.

Women particularly do this a lot and I dont like it.

The book titled How To Be An Effective Sociopath Who Manipulates People For Their Own Gain 24/7 tells you to be nice not just outside but inside too? that's soooo fucking nice, man
if you want to know how to act around normies as an autist just read Hobbes and Spinoza, they're like self-help but better, affect psychology is badass
