Thanks for the reply. I do have several reservations about AI that really make me not want to use it (for this or anything else)

1. The AI's are made to maximize your engagement with them so it is always going to lean towards agreeing
2. The questions I formulate are limited by my understanding and therefore can lead the answers to a direction that leads to false understanding. Unknown unknowns basically
3. The answers I will get are always a distilled "in the middle" "consensus" based views where all kinds of trash articles will bias the answers. I could see this being a big problem for thinkers that have been misunderstood by the masses in the cultural discourse AND also thinkers like Hegel where Kojeve basically influenced how Hegel was viewed for decades by more academic thinkers (or worse, people like Russel who didn't understand anything)
4. I don't trust myself to not start using AI as a crutch and thus lobotomizing myself in the long run

Never underestimate how much the average person, content creators especially, present their own brain farts as if they're facts.

There's a good bit in one of DFW's interviews where he calls out people praising Infinite Jest just after it was released. It was so early post release that he knew they couldn't have read it, let alone digested and thought about it. Basically called the critics outs as poser bullshitters.
