I've been reading for the past 6 months on my Kobo, I've finished around 20 books and video games no longer appeal to me. I used to be an avid gaymer, playing 5 to 10 hours a day. But ever since I picked up this habit of reading, I no longer the dopamine boost I used to from vidya, I burn out after playing for 10 to 15 minutes, and feel like reading again.
Op is larping. But I got a tip if you are addicted to video games, internet, and porn. Fasting. Water fast for a few days. Only drink water and perhaps multi-minerals/electrolytes. Trust me, it will reduce the urge to a normal level.
Nothing nothing nothing works for me anymore.

Why do people find this surprising or even sad? You naturally enjoy different things at different ages. People who are like "what... is... happening to me??" when they don't enjoy playing Minecraft at age 35, have just failed to move on and develop their tastes in accordance with their age. People don't go about like "oh god, I can't enjoy Peppa Pig and Barbie dolls anymore..." You just shouldn't expect yourself to perpetually enjoy childish things.

i used to love epic rpgs but ya i only play shooters occasionally cuz it's a little bit social, a little bit competitive, and can be contained to like an hour session. i tried playing the oblivion remake, and after a while i just didn't care.
