How fucked am I if the majority of my life was and is probably still gonna be literally what Kierkegaard described as "the aesthetic stage"? Are there people who successfully escaped it? How did you manage to do it?
you are 300 lbs and masturbate to anime girls, nothing about you is aesthetic
>300 lbsAryan beast.>masturbate to anime girlsGood taste.
>>25502342Just call it a normie so the non kiekegaard readers can know what you are saying. Also idk I got out of that in HS and it’s not like it’s an upgrade. It’s more of a curse really. Normies are driving around in Escalades and living in houses and watching Netflix all on credit and happy as can be. Not sure you should sweat it. Instead thank god he hadn’t afflicted you

Normies are a matter of days away from another holocaust, possibly civilizational extinction.
>>25502544I wouldn't say that it could be only a "normie" life, there is a possibility of a different life on the other side of the coin. Imagine an awkward shut-in(literally me): you spend all day consuming media, fantasizing about romance, endlessly browsing some shit on the Internet, gaming, daydreaming, avoiding commitments because ordinary life feels boring or too overwhelming. I was asking about this type of life, a way shittier one. I guess the only fix to this is to spend way less time on the Internet - the thing that is responsible for me being so fucked up, but it's so fucking hard when it's already a part of your life. Internet ruins lives, man. It's a fucking curse.
>>25502342What's the "aesthetic stage"
>>25502644>The aesthetic stage is the first phase of human existence in Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard's theory, defined by a primary focus on sensory pleasure, immediate gratification, and the avoidance of long-term commitments.
>>25502637You’re a normie and you’re not special or if more value because you can’t make friends. Like 35% of the population is like you
>>25502637>t. posts the most normie post imaginable

>>25502342I can't tell if kierkegaard was a beautiful twink male or something of a hob goblin in public. these paintings of his face make him look like the former but descriptions of him make me think the latter.
>>25503467I think the exact same way about Liszt
>>25502342Nothing's stopping from taking the leap of Faith except yourselfBesides, Kierkegaard admires the aesthetic man, he just can't help but feeling such a life would be incomplete and unfulfilling for a man such as himself
>>25503224its understandable if you lived your life unable to afford such pleasantries.
>>25502342>How fucked am I if the majority of my life was and is probably still gonna be literally what Kierkegaard described as "the aesthetic stage"?If you had read Kiekegaard you'd know.
>>25502342>my life is LITERALLY what Kierkegaard described Just grow the fuck up and get a job.
