When he dies, they'll posthumously publish a 4,000-page volume of his diaries. Don't ask me how I know this.
>>
>>25503746
u finna cop it?
>>
>>25503746
i believe it, just like when they were leaking shadow ticket here five years ago.
>>
>>25503746
Its cause youre pynchon anyway thinks for writing GR
>>
>>25503746
Hi Tom or your NEET son that posts here
>>
>>25503746
How do you know this?
>>
>>25503877
He's cool tho cuz he likes anime
>>
>when
>implying pynchon won't live into the period when men will wish to die but be unable to do so
>>
>>25503937
i guess so

>>25503888
maybe i'll get laughed out of the room for this but i do think pynchon or someone close to him posts here. i remember one night there was a thread asking for the next pynchon novel and someone said "there will be, fans of inherent vice will be pleased" and when someone asked if he's still alive another replied "he's probably dead or demented or posting in this thread right now" and the next day shadow ticket is announced to the general public. so something's up
>>
>>25504374
I can imagine Pynchon posting on 4chan in 2007 when it was a well-known internet novelty, but I can't imagine him being a dedicated oldfag who still posts on 4chan in recent years
>>
i used meme magick to manifest this.

The thought came to me that it would be hilarious if after he died some sort of biography would be published with his face on the cover
>>
>>25503944
>We're already past that
What time is it now?
>>
>>25504374
delusional
nobody intelligent would waste more than 5 minutes here unless they were under a certain age and haven't grown out of it yet, which obviously doesn't describe pynchon or his kids
>>
>>25503944
>implying "pynchon" is a living human being and not CIA's sockpuppet
>>
>>25504590
pynchon shits on the CIA/MIC in general pretty often in his books though
>>
>>25504568
There is a case to be made that a famously private person like Pynchon would be interested in more or less the only significant English-language website that allows you to post comments anonymously, but it would've been decades ago now
>>
>>25504629
no, there isn't. no cornell graduate that worked for boeing is going to waste their time with edgy shitposting teenagers on 4chan.
let me put it this way: pynchon is to 4chan posters as 4chan posters think they are to normies. pynchon is so far beyond anyone here that we'd all just annoy the fuck out of him by being uneducated morons who think we're smarter than we are.
he's famously private because interacting with regular people is unbearable. explaining yourself all the time is frustrating enough even when people understand you after, imagine explaining yourself all the time when 99% of people you interact with won't even understand half the shit you just explained afterwards
>>
>>25503746
Because a library has his full correspondence and is set to release it once he's dead?
>>
>>25504374
Much more likely to be someone close to him than the man himself. My money's on his son, who's in his mid 30s, and would've been in his mid 20s back in /lit/'s heyday. Pynchon knows about this place in concept ("the part of 4chan where they talk about books") but I strongly doubt he's ever visited it.
>>
>>25503746
I wonder if they’ll shed any light on Aliens, UFOs/UAPs

Always seems like he was ahead of the curve in predicting some of the theories (The entire multidimensional aspect of Agaibst the Day, Roswell Blunce etc…) that have come out in recent years.
>>
>>25503746
>publish a 4,000-page volume of his diaries.
And it will be title My Diary Desu
>>
>>25504649
Working for Boeing is not a mark of distinction lol. Not in a vacuum. The biggest incompetent I've ever professionally met works for them last I checked.
>pynchon is so far beyond anyone here that we'd all just annoy the fuck out of him by being uneducated morons who think we're smarter than we are.
Correct
>>
>>25504596
are you not aware of how much of the 60s "anti-establishment" counterculture was a CIA front?
>>
>>25505676
With a tasteful Rozen Maiden cover?
>>
Jackson, if you're reading this I want you to convince your dad to finally finish that sci-fi musical he was working on in college
>>
>>25505682
It meant something at the time he did, maybe not so now since it's all midwits and pajeets just letting a computer do all the engineering BS.
