Fpbp. Just not interested, sorry.

Idk about Rushdie but OHYoS it's not one of Márquez' best. He has better ones.
>>
>>25505857
Rushdie is rather mediocre, OHYOS is fascinating.

>rushdie
I don’t go to faggy New York dinner parties so why would I read this faggot’s books?
>>
marquez. rushdie is far too derivative, he is almost entirely devoid of synthesis.
>>
>>25505807
Exactly.
>>
>>25504817
I do but spic literature is overrated and I stay away from anything to do with jeets.
>>
>>25504814
I'd need to touch them to decide.
>>

I'm not sure.
I don't think 100 years of solitude is healthy nor even possible, but at the same time I don't think children should be up at midnight. Certainly not on a school night.
I like Colombians much more than pajeets though so I'll pick #1
(I have read neither book).

>he reads for social approval
Embarrassing

Marquez is more exhuberant and the clear better writer of the two. Rushdie is more imaginative and the fact that he is discussing actual history makes him feel more poignant
I much prefer the former
