Looking at this thread it's mostly just people admitting they don't read at all, just passively listening to audio books then watching a youtube video telling them what to think about it, which explains a lot.Sadly it is a lot easier to find places to discuss my video game interests off 4chan than there is places to discuss my literary interests, and it's not like the bar is very high.
