I just finished reading A Season in Hell, and I can't stop re-reading it to enjoy the sheer artistry in it. I want to ask if there are any other prose poets as good as Arthur Rimbaud. I'd prefer prose poems that lean heavily toward the poem side of things, not just authors with a poetic writing style, though if options are thin, that's fine too.

Bertrand, Baudelaire, Lautréamont, Mallarmé

No offence but prose poetry isn't real. If it isn't lineated as verse then it doesn't have even the most circumstantial qualities necessary to begin to consider language as poetry.

I did tend to like his works

Une saison en enfer is Rimbaud’s worst work though lol. Completely immature teenager rubbish.
As pointed in the first answer, the classic french answer would be Gaspard de la nuit, by Bertrand.
Joe Bousquet would be another great contender. And Léon-Paul Fargue.

You think so? I loved the imagery and the strange, ambiguous sentence structure.

So you're basically saying that OP should learn French?

That's where the poème en prose originated
