>i can't make heads or tails of it.
Get new glasses
>>
>>25513507
It's just a cat wearing shoes. 'Nuff said.
>>
>>25513507
Your hands look underage. Get out of here, kid.
>>
>>25513510
i had that cat as a kid and now i have a real cat

i dont need glasses yet, as long as there's good enough light. i can still read under just a streetlight at night, although i have to close one eye, idk why.

i only messed up a few times. it seems pretty straightforward to me. what's the trouble?
>>
At heart it is an invective against womankind,
>two paradises 'twere in one
>to live in paradise alone
the only sort of man to understand this truth is one who has been married.
>>
>>25515499
uh? he says hes through with busie companies of men cause he found an innocent sister. pretty obviously the opposite dude. its about shacking up in the country and pulling the phone jack out of the wall. metaphorically.
>>
well shacking up and smoking leaf i suppose
>>
>>25515514
no, m8. Innocence and Quiet are here abstracts given these alluring casts.

Don't tell me this is one of those
>but i DID have breakfast this morning
sort of things, eh? I guess at least there will be some comfort in that ignorance come the long morrow.
>>
>>25513507
Latin twink needs glasses, colorized.
>>
>>25515522
is the busie companie of men also an abstract?

women are part of nature; retreating from society to nature doesn't mean mgtow unless youre internet poisoned.
>>
>>25515576
he means to say that he sought innocence and quiet in the company of busy men, which was folly.
What's your native language, anyway?
>>
>>25515584
what? of course thats what hes saying. the person i was responding to thought it was about wahmen. what's yours?
>>
>>25515654
>Such was that happy garden-state,
>While man there walk’d without a mate;
>After a place so pure and sweet,
>What other help could yet be meet!
>But ’twas beyond a mortal’s share
>To wander solitary there:
>Two paradises ’twere in one
>To live in paradise alone.

read this stanza once more and get back to me
>>
>>25515665
what? that isn't in the picture.
>>
>>25515676
You have to read the whole poem, you see. That really helps with interpreting the designs of the poet.
for fuck's sake man.
>>
>>25515684
i'm just assigned what's on these two pages. who to believe, you, him, the teacher?

well maybe he was going to reveal it as a twist and learning lesson moment. what's it to you? there was also 316 and i see why not the next bc it seems kind of controversial. looking at just 316 it seems related to the enclosure movement and the foppery of gardening developing as opposed to i guess having peasant fatmers with cows etc. now how do i know what to say cause if you think i should take about the eunichs part its a verry different paper i think.
>>
>>25515715
What a masterful troll, really.
If not, I'll give you my only available kindness, the truth.
You need to start with simpler english writing if you're struggling this much with a basic understanding. I really recommend you start with FAR simpler poetry.
>>
>>25515721
are you the guy who posted reading the other one? what do you think it all means then?
>>
curious to hear back like i dont determine what my assignments are sheesh
>>
>>25515737
Those are two separate poems. The first is separated into stanzas, the second is but one chunk.

The initial work is about solitude, but a complete one. An almost banausic replacement of mankind (and womankind) with fruits, flowers, and trees.
>>
OP, I hope you get tamarind juice in your eyes.
>>
>>25515754
wtf kind of upjumped word is banausic
>>
>>25515754
also yeah we know its replacing people with nature thats literally what the words say. the question is what does it mean?
>>
thirdly how is something "almost banausic" like either it is or it isnt
>>
not really sure where you get off calling it workmanlike anyway, i mean lets see your verse then

why do people keep saying this as a meme? it doesnt even make sense here. we've gone back and forth several times and i don't feel that he's being very helpful. more than you i suppose.
>>
>>25515936
>>
>>25515938
they really let you post with no words on a literature board?
>>
i'm learning a lot just looking up parts by myself anyway. funny that daphne is so close to yanny.

trickier on account of being pentametric but i think i did alright. i hope this helps elucidate the grammar.

and here's for today. surprised this is still up. now i'm supposed to contrast the perspective in all three, but i don't get how that makes sense since it's all from the perspective of the same guy?

this is the last i do without at least a thank-you. hmph!

in case you're new, vocatoo is just an audio upload site, like imgur for audio clips. it's not some weird app thing or anything.
>>
this is still up?? yoo ded bord

hello, is anyone even reading this?

>>25521412
thanks ig although it only helped with a few things. still don't get what "i it at mine owne fingers murst" means for example. i could ask chatgpt like i suppose everyone else is likely to be doing, at least "just to check their work." as if making coreections it suggests isnt using it? anyway yeah.
>>
>>25523183
murst is nurst, i think. as in nursed, as in breastfed. it is the fawn.
>>
>>25517010
But, anon, you're the same person. I could hear the wind flipping the page and you flipping it back. You do have a pretty voice, though.
>>
>>25524882
Anon, do you think only one person has this book? I have it too. I see it at used bookstores fairly often as things go, so I assume it's a reasonably frequently used college course text.
>>
>>25525912
do you understand it any better than i do? what is 'thad for example?
>>
Is this nigga looking for a boyfriend? What even is this thread?
>>
>>25527260
just looking for some discussion... can you even read? paste the thread link into chatgpt if you cant be bothered to use your own eyes to figure out what it "even is."

but i would touch your dingle if you can read a john donne elegy flawlessly. no hiccups like the anon posting vocaroos.
>>
>>25528687
Dont (you) me again or ill rape you with my twink cock
>>
>>25528816
oh noooo haha anything but that
>>
>>25528816
that you wasnt me youing you. i'm not like that. i'm here virginally playing world of warcraft. (on kronos. not paying 15 a month to play with blue elves on both sides. come on.)
>>
>>25513507
Why don’t you interpret the A&F catalog? What do you like about it?
>>
>>25530400
there was a pair of shorts i liked and i found them online in all the colorways for like 10-15 amerikroner per. theyre hot. a little dangerous though, the tip can peep, and even half staff would be flagrant.
>>
>>25526976
' as a letter means to click your tongue, I think. as in 'chad.
>>
>>25534512
You're thinking of ! as in !kung, goofball. It's Tchad not 'chad, that's not a thing whatsoever.
>>
>>25536268
>>25534512
WHAT does that have to do with 'thad? i think you're both trolling and i really don't appreciate it in my thread.
>>
Almost done reading that A&F catalog. (Found a PDF online.) Nutted 4 times so far, which necessitates breaks, or I get a hurty hardy.
>>
ive got a more assignment to post but it hurts my headache to even looking at

so this one has an illustration at least he's like life is jail I guess. I feel like I could critical lens this with I know why the caged bird sings.
>>
>>25542971
caged birds sing because birds sing whether caged or not. it's like saying you know why the caged mouse bites things. it's just what they do. people pace, mice bite, birds sing. if there was a situation where they *didn't* that would be news
