Should women be banned from reading?
>>25516879Women should be forced into breeding, and them banned from breathing.
>>25516888Then*
yes
>>25516571
>>25516879Women should answer a questionnaire asking them if they think all men are evil and would rather live in an all female society, then if they answer yes be deported to an all female island and see how nice it is, there'd be human sacrifice within a week.
>>25516888HOLY TRIPS
>>25516879Women should be banned from everything and anything fun. They ruin everything. They're not even good at cooking. Why are all the biggest chefs men?? Women can't do anything right.
>>25516879Yes
>>25516879Banning them from voting would be preferable
>>25516879No, just frog posters.
>>25516879No. In an ideal society women who want to learn to read should be allowed, even helped, to do so.But society should be organized so that most women don't WANT to learn to read. This would be easy to do. It's the natural order of things, after all; you would only need to stop fighting the current, so to speak.A sane society would simply offer women pleasant alternative ways to pass the time (cooking, gossipping, gardening, entertaining small children) whilst simultaneously framing literacy as one of those grubby masculine activities (like car repairs or plumbing or developing the next generation of internet protocols) which have to be done but which are not worth a woman's time. The few women who persist in strange, angular, unwomanly curiosity about the written word should be treated with kindness by both sexes. We certainly don’t want any persecution or shaming. We just want their fellow females looking at them as people these days look on, say, trainspotters, i.e. indulgently, but without any desire to share their strange obsession.
>>25517708>But society should be organized so that most women don't WANT to learn to readHard disagree.>A sane society would simply offer women pleasant alternative ways to pass the timeThis results in them reading and then having only pedestrian reading/writing habits. Way to go. A recipe for the status quo.
I don’t care what they read or write but they shouldn’t tell me what I have to read or write
>>25517708If you had a daughter, would you want her to read?
>>25517724Never in my life has anybody actually told me what to read or what to write.Don’t buy romantasy slop?Just open word and start writing? How exactly are women stopping you?
>>25516905>to many timeHe should have been isekai'd to Lain world
Women should be banned from most things, but not reading. Reading is useful in a domestic servant.
>>25517728the proclivities of the child aren't up to the parent, chang
>>25517765Nobody questioned that, Hassan. In European cultures wanting doesn't mean forcing.
>>25516879Why is a ban needed? Women don’t read. And no, speedreading romantasy and erotica doesn’t count, that’s basically just consuming porn, it has zero lierary merit
>>25516879What difference would it make?
>>25517734You’ve never been told to ‘get out of your comfort zone” and read more diversely?
