Scarcity drives value.
>>
>>25524348
Anything digital is only rare if you don't know where to find it. Ignorance doesn't mean scarcity.
>>
>>25524348
>only rare if you don't know where to find it.
That's the definition of rare, dipshit.
Spare me the semantics and post a hard to find chart, asshole.
>>
>>25524386
That isn't the definition of rare. Rare is matter of quantity.
>>
>>25524394
If something is hard to find people are going to call it rare. It may not be THE definition but it's A definition. Go eat a bag of dicks.
>>
Why do dumbasses put so much value in charts? It's not even helpful charts. What is this obsession with conforming to a certain archtype? It seems very primitive and subhuman.

Not him but rarity is about scarce availability.
You know that picture with the border wall between Mexico and the US? One side with the rich mansions and the other with the slum? For one side, soap would be rare, even though plenty of it exists.

If I locked you in a closet to be my sex toy, lube would be rare for you, even though my other slaves would have plenty.

That's still about quantity/frequency of occurrence.

what you idiots are arguing about is actual scarcity vs PERCEIVED scarcity due to MARKET INEFFICIENCY

market inefficiency mainly refers to lack of information, e.g. wholesalers in Ankh-Morpork unable to know the current price of shrimp in Genoa because of delays imposed by waiting for the mail coach to arrive with the news of shrimp prices.
but market inefficiency also covers a wide array of other behaviours, some derivative or downstream of information inefficiency, e.g. traders hyping up prices or panic buying because they predicted (or imagined) or got wrong information that prices will change
another favourite example of mine is transport bottlenecks; a farmer might have to dump his harvest at below-cost prices in his local town, because of lack of (affordable) transport to deliver his harvest to the big city where conversely the city slickers are paying ruinous prices for what scarce produce they can get

an important and relevant point to note here is that strictly speaking, it is not that few goods have been produced; they may be abundant, but if the potential customers do not know where to find the goods, then this MARKET INEFFICIENCY has caused scarcity arising from INFORMATION ASYMMETRY

in this case, OP asserts that because anons want to find these charts, but don't know where to find these charts, these charts are scarce, and therefore they are valuable
"rare" is a dictionary synonym for "scarce", although economists would prefer using the actual technical term "scarce"

at least go pick up a couple of basic college-tier accounting and economics textbooks if you're gonna argue this shit.

When we win, art, culture and aesthetics in general will be so public as to be blinding to the eyes of the hideous creatures that have tried to defraud us of our destiny. There will be no excuse of "that this is only popular because you're all retarded". There is no hidden beauty, because light removes darkness. You are a hobbling mutant living in an age where the subversive is used as a refuge for creativity, morality and sincerity wishing we could go back to a time when subculture was used to escape from those very ideals. You are all going to be left behind and there will be private lamentation and public merriment.

Honestly, calling it that just shows you haven't actually looked into the scene.
Bm has always been intertwined with classic literature, philosophy, and art.
Some bands built entire album concepts around literary texts.
>Burzum, Gorgoroth, Isengard
=> took their names from Tolkien's lore
>Ulver
=> inspired by the poetry of William Blake
>Emperor
=> used Gustave Dorรฉ's classic illustrations for John Milton's Paradise Lost in their artwork
>Behemoth
=> reference Aleister Crowley's Thelema and Austin Osman Spare's Zos Kia Cultus for their album titles and concepts
>Judas Iscariot
=> titled an early 1992 demo Heidegger,
the list goes on ...
The genre also draws heavily on philosophy, from Nietzsche to Bataille and medieval apophatic mysticism.
It even birthed several niche ideologies like "odalism" for example but granted those are pretty cringe.
Listeners are predominantly well-educated, middle-class adults by now.

At its core, black metal aligns with the Left-Hand Path utilizing Aleister Crowley's Thelema, Austin Osman Spare's sigil magick, and radical negation (via negativa) to pursue individual sovereignty and antinomianism.
When sub-currents shift toward vรถlkisch nationalism, they adopt Right-Hand Path mechanics centered on collective herd conformity.
National socialism being the herd mentality.
That being said most of early black metal relied on youthful shock tactics, anti-consumerism, media provocation, and simple inversions of Christian values rather than some sort of systematic philosophy.

I felt that way about one single book but boredom and circumstance allowed me the opportunity to read a small amount in a day and then not worry about how much I had left. Get into the flow and be present while going through each word and sentence until I finished my first 300 page book. It seemed silly that I had never finished a real book till I was 13. So many hours wasted staring at nothing being bored when I could have been building my mental palace with literature.

Broken Spears is already on the chopping block, but I was probably going to replace it with something focused on campaigns in the Maya areas or Oaxaca or Western Mexico or something, since I feel those are lacking presence right now in the Conquest section.
