The Service - The Memoirs of General Reinhard Gehlen. It’s been interesting so far. It might be the first book ever read that had an anonymous review of it posted on the CIA’s website. It’s all about WWII and Cold War era espionage and intelligence gathering operations etc… I like books like these, obscure primary sources about war and politics. You find interesting stuff in them that you don’t get when you just read the normal stuff that everyone writes where they’re basically just repeating one another over and over again.
I think of picking pic related as my next read.

Every now and then there would be a "What are you reading now, fellow /b/tards?" and that would be all the /lit/ experience you could get on 4chan. I was so excited when mootikins actually created /lit/. I guess the kindle had recently come out because there was tons of threads on "which ereader do I buy?" and every now and then we'd have some awesome sharethreads. I even managed to get an invite to bibliotik somehow on one of those. Good times.
