Yes, I've been coloring stuff before, but not in between the blocks of texts or whatever, like sometimes these things show up in the index already (you don't have much time to check it before they throw you out) but then again, we don't need stylized roman numerals. If it comes with a pen I scribble. Nowadays publishers will just spread it out, with fold-outs or whatever, but it's intricate to get it all out and nobody has the space, really. I think this started when the ground-masters ran out of brittle brown.
