Long ago in a distant land, I, Aku, the shape shifting master of darkness unleashed an unspeakable evil, but a foolish Samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me!Before the final blow was struck, I throw open a portal in time and flung him into the future where my evil is strong! Now the fool seeks to return to the past and undo the future that is AKU!!!

>>25547689I've memorized a few bible verses. It take a bit to really stick a verse in my noggin.I especially like Corinthians 13:4-8 **Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.** **It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;** **it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.** **Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.** **As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.**
Some Robert FrostThe Ravenwas working on To Be or Not To Be, but for some reason got side tracked.Sadly though whenever I see an opportunity to actually quote one, I realize I'm not really in the right social circles to be quoting poetry. So I'll mostly just recite them to myself while driving sometimes.

>>25547689i had memorized some poems by swinburne and catulle mendes but i forgot them>>25552114i also get this but honestly i dont feel like its really memorizingi had to go through the work of coming up with them, analyzing what i had to see if i really liked them and repeating them over and over again to see if they sounded good or if i wanted to change something, so me remembering them is just a byproduct of that, not a conscious effort of memorizing something

"Memory is an instrument of wondrous service, without which judgement is hard put to it to do its duty. In me it is entirely lacking. ... it is so extremely bad that I have more than once happened to pick up again, thinking it new and unknown to me, a book which I had carefully read several years earlier and scribbled all over with my notes" -- Montaigne
