Sufism is almost in it's entirety just paradoxes about the same stuff every culture across the planet has been thinking about. Time, being, existence, etc. Going back to the 11th century there are records about distinguishing between general knowledge of a paradox and spiritual knowledge of a paradox. Some of them died before being able to finish their life's work. There are only 2 routes, go back to the Quran and Hadith, or find a perfect teacher and pursue perfection (there are manuals about finding a perfect teacher and the pursuit of perfection).
