Fantasy with good worldbuilding/politics?  No.25549955
Unfortunately a lot of fantasy "authors" are just bad at creating a decent setting for their works, and as an autist I just can't enjoy their work if I can tell that they've cut corners in terms of worldbuilding.

Other than the more well-known series like LOTR, ASOIAF, Wheel of Time and the Stormlight Archive, what can /lit/ recommend in this area? Any suggestions are appreciated
