Yes, there's an abridged version for children younger than five years old.https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/55040It's funny in that it provides a written out script for the narrator, like telling the child to look at the picture or asking the child questions about the story,things normally left to the disgression of the one reading the book aloud.
