I must have been born with an anti-booktuber force field surrounding me because I do not give one single FUCK about these people
YouTube is for music

This is probably the most useless thread I've seen all week.

Separate issue but why do I see millions of zoomers not understand a lav mic? Is there a reason or just mass retardation?

It’s just a trend and these people don’t have original thoughts; they just mindlessly copy others around them.

same, I simply do not engage with booktubers and in turn am simply not bothered by them lol

I dunno why people are bothered by shit like this, or by which books sell a lot. My other main hobby/interest is music and while I think a lot of 13 year old young music dorks have a brief phase of being disappointed that the stuff they're dorky about isn't what's mainstream, by the time they're like 18 they usually understand that Taylor Swift gets a lot of sales and fuckin shoegaze or whatever doesn't. I understand that the way music and books are distributed and consumed on a DIY level are entirely different playing fields so there is a larger gap, but idk "books" or "music" are such vague broad categories that it's almost psychotic to even put the cool niche interesting stuff you're into in the same category as the pop stuff. Just consume what you like and call it a day

i refuse to watch a video where someone holds a mic like this, i leave a dislike and close the video immediately.

Same, but it could be good if lit gains a bit more popularity.....or it could be a disaster.

Unironically posting that on 4chan
Home of daily bot repost spam threads and copy-paste /pol/ insults

Reddit, booktok, booktubers... all have more cultural relevance and worthwhile discussion that this board has seen over the last 10 years combined.
