As the title says, discuss books that are one-of-a-kind.I'd say the Inman Diaries are one-of-a-kind because, although there have been thousands of published diaries, there's none that compare to inman's. He was an invalid hikineet, but he also invited thousands of strangers to his house so he could write little biographies of them, essentially. I've never before read a diary with so many random characters, lots of them blue-collar and ignored by history. In the realms of the unreal by Henry darger is another sui generis book, but it hasn't been published in full so I can't say anything about itDo you guys have any you know of?

The Golden Thread by Miguel SerranoSerrano isn't your average everyday schizo or fashy occultist, it's clear from the text that he is thoroughly self-aware and 'above' everything he's writing. The question is how and why. His work is really a puzzle for someone with extensive knowledge of Jungian Psychology, Occultism, Eastern Religion, and early 20th century history to figure out. He's giving a totally original esoteric message, and not in some standard religious way.

You can always put something in a category if you try hard enough. <Pic attached> for example could go in 'whimsica English humour’. But there’s nothing really like it that I know of.
