That's the **Christian girl autumn** aesthetic — the flannels, the pumpkin spice, the cozy small-town vibe reads as wholesome Christian-coded, but the books are actually steamy adult romance with explicit scenes. One Swedish reviewer put it exactly that way: the covers have that aesthetic, but religion is boiled down to almost nothing.

And the liberal angle is real too — the closest thing to a political comment in the whole series is a character calling a tech guy "Elon" as an insult. No church, no faith content, just the packaging.

The irony is the author herself isn't hiding it — her marketing says "sweetness and spice," and she writes werewolf romantasy under her real name, Melissa McTernan. The bait is the cover, not the author.

The Area 51 novels by Robert Doherty are not bad and what I have also been doing is rereading the da vinci code by Dan Brown

Lol, no. The the only thing women are better at than men is OnlyFans and even then they have a man managing them.

oh are you fanny flustered by the figure of what happens in the fucclesia? perhaps you look around the church and say "the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord are these divorced moms and step dads"

Autumn is August/September. We're in winter already.

There is no reason for you to assume this book would be religious

This fixation on "pumpkin spice" largely spawns from a Starbucks marketing trend for a seasonal drink that white American women have made an identification marker. It is a representation of the pervasive and quasi-religious fervor surrounding corporate branding and commodity fetishism driving the United States culture.
