>>25587693I don't think it's racially or ethnically related, but I do think it's cultural.Cheap is king in Latin America and there's a distinct lack of care for being detailed and "doing a good job" that permeates the whole region.Imho there's a majority of people who don't really care about beauty and creating beautiful things. As long as said thing works and it's cheap, it's good enough.I'm pretty sure there are people like that in every region but it seems to be more prevalent in 3rd world countries. You're more likely to see a doctor's office sign in Comic Sans in Asunción or Manila than in Copenhagen or Tokyo.
