Do you folks like western novels? I just finished Dead Man’s Walk and I’m going to get through the rest of the Lonesome Dove quartet, but I’m wondering what others westerns are worth reading. Maybe some Louis L’amour and the old pulp books? Naturally Corncob will be on the list at some point also.

I like the Berrybender books
I've watched this thread reappear in many formats and I'm amazed that no one has ever mentioned the single greatest western of all time. If you haven't read Thomas Berger's "Little Big Man" then do yourself a favor and stop whatever you're doing now and get a copy and read it immediately. If you 'have' read it, isn't it time to read it again?
