The small amounts of good criticism is drowned out by bitter anons who will resent your work no matter what; and every anon has to insert their opinions on what literature means to them.As a rule, you should never post your work to online communties, unless you're writing fanfic or something. It may have been different in the 2000s-2010s but the modern day internet is too far gone. Personally, I only ever share my work to close asscioates of mine or creative people who are curious about it. I have attempted to get published a handful of times but have never succeeded.

If you produced something worthy of praise and you still want to shun your past you dont have that spark of originality and geniune passion required to be honest in your writing much less your life overall. I am not saying share your work, i am merely pointing out a flaw in your character as you make assumptions that degrade the audience, in doing so you are telling me you devalue your work and the reader. If you had that spark, that passion, that need to share you would not focus on how you would be percieved and make assumptions as to what would degrade your standing or not, this is energy spent on dogma rather than energy spent on creation.
