Liberalism pretends to be about emancipation and all things to do with freedom, but it was soon obvious that it was simply about the liberation of the merchant class from the crown's control. That domineering entity got it's head chopped off in the French revolution with the help of the people who themselves didn't understand what this was for.
The "middle class" merchants became as wealthy as the monarchy. Soon had to content with working class people who had discovered the con. The new money liberals have spent fortunes that the working class made to fight that very working class back so they could keep power.
Blaming the failed liberal project on "browns" is to fall for the racial division tactics set out for you as distraction. You're like a trained seal.
>>
>>25585053
I honestly don't care that rich people exist, anon
>>
>>25585062
How about that they kidnap children to rape them and eat them?
You don't have any so it's just okay?
>>
>>25585067
Poor people also rape children, it's not a characteristic exclusive to the rich.
In any case it's not clear why a broke virgin should care more for family havers, love havers, sex havers, friend havers etc. than money havers. I don't see why money havers are uniquely evil in this equation.
>>
>>25585080
Next you'll equate fist fight between poor people with global wars
You're a piece of shit unworthy of life. NSA agent or not.
>>
>>25585168
You're dodging the question. Why should I care about rich people and not sexhavers? Could it be that you're a sexhaver yourself?
>>
>>25585188
Because it suits leftists political agendas to only be mad and focus your frustrations on one group of people while simultaneously condemning you for doing the same against a group they like

"Leftists" are great like that. Not IDpol brainwashed fake lefties, but the so-called class conscious ones.
>>
>>25585053
People like you are the reason why I unironically believe that I have a right to hunt the poor for sport.
>>
>>25584691
"liberalism" is the most propaganda-poisoned term in human history at this point. somehow the definition went from "more freedom less government; laissez-faire markets" to "totalitarian rule by blue-haired commie psychos."
>>
>>25586225
>somehow
lol, lmao. Yeah, it's a mystery how that happened.
>>
>>25585053
Marxism has never been right about anything. Let it go.
>>
>>25586230
obviously the long commie march through Western institutions has worked, but it's really shocking how effective the bait-and-switch has been. I always cringe every time some republicuck boomer on Xitter complains about "those damn liberals!" and unironically doesn't realize the legacy of classical liberals like Thomas Jefferson has been stolen and co-opted right before their eyes.
>>
>>25585722
>Not IDpol brainwashed fake lefties,
I have never met a single "real leftist" who actually rejected the "idpol" shit. They claim to be different, but when pushed, espouse all the same basic beliefs as the SJW.

>but it was soon obvious that it was simply about the liberation of the merchant class from the crown's control ... The "middle class" merchants became as wealthy as the monarchy. Soon had to content with working class people who had discovered the con.
Was it really a con though? The working class you admire so much didn't really exist until the merchants created them by the explosive force of their revolutionary ideas and activity in seeking out profitable investment opportunities, and then hiring people to work for them so they could make a return on those investments. Marx agrees with me, the Catholic Mexicans weren't doing anything with those territories. The centralistas wanted independence from Spain so they could run things themselves but in the same old-fashioned style with a parish church in the middle of it. That's literally counter-revolutionary in the classic meaning of the term, not as in "we just want to return to the old order," but a revolution that reproduces the forms of the old order like back in the feudal world in which they came.

We already have a thread about liberalism just use that

>the working class didn't exist without mehmehmeh kiss the ring.
Nick Land sneer-shit. Some people want to do techno-feudalism, but the machine will devour us to the last if we don't remove capitalism. Without capitalism the machine become benevolent, along with everything else that capitalism corrupts.

It is a curious irony that the liberal, who professes to have cast off the altars of superstition, has merely removed the relics of the old church and installed in their place a new idol, no less jealously worshipped for being invisible: to wit, Reason herself, canonized, beatified, and attended by a priesthood of philosophers who mistake their own certainties for her pronouncements. The French Revolution, the foundational event for liberalism, did indeed witness the emergence of an openly proclaimed Cult of Reason. The error lies in viewing this phenomenon as an aberration rather than as a fundamental expression of the ideology's intrinsic structure. The liberal has not abolished faith, he has only changed its object, and in doing so, has forfeited the humility to confess that man is fallen. Hubris serves as their downfall. Observe the method of this high church of Reason. It does not proceed, as true reason must, from the patient observation of man as he is -- quarrelsome, self-deceiving, swayed by appetite, capable of great sacrifice in the morning and petty cruelty by nightfall -- but from a postulate of man as he ought to be, a bloodless abstraction, consistent in his interests, benevolent when informed, and rational when unconstrained by propaganda or prejudice. It is not reason, but a facade, a wish for what man ought to be according to his ideal image were he to play the role of his own creator.

This guy again? You're a guy who writes like an aristocrat to distract from the fact that your arguments are just reheated Sunday-school sermons and Fox News dressed up in 18th century larp
>>
>>25588590
That I write with ornament you allege as though it were an indictment; I confess it rather as a courtesy, for truths too plainly spoken are too easily despised, and a moralist who dresses his matter decently does his reader the honour of supposing him capable of attending to more than a grunt. But let us examine the substance of your charge, stripped, as you would have it, of all pomp and embroidery. Indeed, I am Christian. I will not quarrel with the genealogy. A sermon is only an argument that has had the fortune to be useful to many generations of fools who needed hearing it, and the misfortune to be despised by one generation of fools who imagine they have outgrown it. That a truth is old is no refutation of it. It is a new nobility, this nobility of the unlettered mob's imagined champion, and like all nobilities it is chiefly concerned with pedigree. I have never found that truth consulted a man's income, his accent, his ethnicity, or his audience before consenting to be true. Contrary to a common misconception, I see no objection to the truth being voiced by individuals who do not meet strict criteria of lineage or class position. I am neither a racialist nor a proponent of a rigid aristocracy. I am a monarchist and a conservative traditionalist, and I attach great importance to understanding the project we have inherited. If a populist author such as the Fox News yellow press had said something sound, I will credit them, if a prince has said something false, I will condemn him with no less severity for his crown or title.

I see. I must have been mistaken. I had thought this was the Literature forum and that we were men of taste and discernment. That the whole of this exchange should proceed from a society professing itself devoted to Literature and Philosophy is the finest jest in it; for I have observed that men who gather under a signboard are commonly those least able to supply the commodity advertised within. A coffee-house that must announce itself to the world a temple of intellect has generally little else to serve.

It is an old principle, and I commend it to the proprietors of such establishments: he who has read deeply speaks of books, and he who has read nothing speaks of Literature. To hang the name of Literature over a door through which nothing passes but abuse is to practise a species of false advertisement which, in trade, would bring a man before the magistrate, and which, in letters, brings him only an audience. I do not blame you all for being unlearned; ignorance is the natural condition of mankind. I, instead, blame you for having chosen, out of all the mediums in Christendom, to be ignorant precisely where ignorance is most conspicuous.
>>
>>25588717
Yes, its much more sophisticated to passive aggressively cry a forum doesn't deliver pretentious fart huffing even though the word literature is right in the name. Thank you for the blog.

Britain laid the literal and figurative foundations of modern global commerce. A tad more than a measly minor empire, no? One is routinely forced to endure the tedious, historically illiterate moralizing of individuals. I shall continue to defend that noble inheritance.

It wasn't, retard. Go look it up. Also, Galileo was censored because he basically did the equivalent of sending a company wide email with the header "THE BOSS IS A FUCKING RETARD...LOOK HOW RETARDED THE BOSS IS--I NAMED HIS CHARACTER 'RETARD'" after being told to add a disclaimer. Bruno was executed because he did the equivalent of preaching Scientology while his region was surrounded by religious wars.

The conflict thesis was debunked over 100 years ago. Fedoras are generally uneducated outside of YouTube pop-sci videos.
