Dianetics and all scientology related stuff aside, I've heard he was actually somewhat accomplished pre WW2 as a scifi writer and even had some acclaimed works. Is this true?
>>25587406he wrote pulpy ass derivative stories so he could support his own partying with people like Jack Parsons and other occultfags
Yes, and you could have easily looked that up without killing a thread. If you're looking to get into his fiction, I recommend a short-story collection called "Lives You Wished To Led But Never Dared". Also know that the book "Battlefield Earth" was much, much better than the movie.>>25587586I can always count on the cretins on this site to produce the most moronic take on literally any subject.

>>25587618WE GOT A SCIENTOLOGIST ON /lit/ BEFORE GTA 6 IT'S FUCKING SO OVER BOYS
>>25587406Battlefield Earth is a great book. The movie was horrible and so is the cult, but that book ruled. It’s so tediously detailed and well thought out, he was a good sci-fi writer for sure.
>>25587639>>25587666Never said I was a Scientologist. I stayed on-topic and discussed his fiction. I liked picrel so much, I read it twice, despite it being 1.5 million words.
