What's the recommended reading order for Lovecraft? Should I read his works chronologically or start with the most important stories? Any reading order /x/ recommends?

There is no reading order. Start with whatever story sounds the most interesting to you. Or alternatively start with his shortest story, and if you like it move onto his longer stories.

The order in the library of America collection is good. If I were you I'd jump around and read some other weird fiction guys after each short story as Lovecraft can get monotonous.

Start with Dagon

Why? It's all fucking amateurishly written fucking trash.

There is not a single worthwhile Lovecraft story in existence. Read Machen and Hodgson and Robert Chambers instead.

So you're also insecure, faggot?

I was unimpressed with Lovecraft at first. He seemed very similar to Poe. Then I read "Pickman's Model" and everything changed. So I recommend starting with that story.
