The fact that a man of conviction, action, and loyalty such as Tywin Lannister is written as a villain everyone abandons and dies miserably but a cuck like Ned Stark who doesn't have a bit of agency, is a coward near-pacifist, and a bleeding heart faggot is the enduring hero displays the values of modern culture. That the Christcuck who loses willingly is valued higher than the man willing to do anything to protect his family and nation. That killing the enemy is wrong but subjugation to foreign rule is honourable and holy. You'll die but be remembered by those living under that foreign rule as a hero for allowing the occupation to happen.

ASOIAF is an unintentional allegory.

>the man willing to do anything to protect his family
Did you forget the part where he ordered his son's wife to be gang-raped for being a commoner?
Or the part where he deliberately overlooked his other two children committing incest?
>>
Tywin in the books is a comic villain who's never shown to remotely care about anyone other than himself, least of all his family whom he torments and manipulates as sacrificial pawns. He was also a moron who got outplayed by the Tyrells at every turn.

If anything Baelish best represents the ideal of Machiavellian master morality since he only kills people when he believes it's necessary, and otherwise does everything possible to appear genial

My would anybody consider watching this TV show when real history from Caesar's era in the 40s BCE was incredibly interesting

You said it, it all stems from Christian morality. It is the most cucked and backwards sense of morality ever established, it’s pathetic. Being a Christian truly is metaphysically cucking yourself.

Christianity is not what leads to a polite society. It is the polite society and just like a polite society nobody is forcing you to do anything. You can be rude to whoever you want (within reason) but it's hard to say a rude society is ever superior.

If you can awake from your egotistical slumber for 5 minutes (maybe with the aid of some psychedelic drugs) and realise that all of your ideas about honour and action are rooted in your own personal insecurity, and feel (not just acknowledge intellectually) that death is coming for us all, and that your worldly dreams and desires are like snowflakes falling in the wind, pretty and insignificant in the sight of God, you might experience the state of wonder, serenity, love and peace that the world religions are founded on, and not be a soulless hylic.

Why would anyone consider reading about Caesar when Bloch didn't publish annales historiography about him?
