Due to bad diet, irregular sleep schedule, and lack of physical exercise. What books will fix me? Self-help is for subhumans on whom I look down and derride with utter scorn, so I won't even consider those (might as well have jordan peterson lecture me on the importance of washing my balls)
>>25593597>the lowly weeb cretin thinks he's in the position to look down on anyone All fields.
>>25593601You’re on an anime website btw
>>25593597Exercise, eat better, and get better sleep. That's it, anon, no book necessary.
>>25593622I'm on /pol/s website.
>>25593625What about the scenario wherein one knows what one ought to do, yet falls short of it anyway? Were it just a matter of consciously acknowledging what an ideal set of habits looks like, there'd be no struggle.
>>25593632>zoomer can't fathom the concept of a routine Didn't need to tell us.
Could you even read or start reading a whole book?Have you read anything this year?
>>25593639Come on anon that was a decent point by them. Anyone can draft up an optimized routine, finding the motivation and drive to consistently execute said routine is a totally different animal.
>>25593655>zoomers are too stupid and worthless to commit to anything let alone a routineThis thread is one just revelation after another.
>>25593646Have finished a couple of Plato's dialogues, some essays and a novel this year, yeah.I haven't any issues with reading per se, only my mental energy declines very quickly. After just a couple hours, I begin to get groggy. Compared to most people of my generation, though, it would seem as though my attention span isn't as affected by screen addiction as that of many of my peers. Not that I'm altogether immune to it, it's juat that's not what I'm mostly struggling with.
>>25593658Lol, and surely you’re a total navy seal with your rigorous routine right? Go ahead and post physique. Condescending pussy lmao, blow your fucking brains out.
>>25593664>Compared to most people of my generation, though, it would seem as though my attention span isn't as affected by screen addiction as that of many of my peers. >asking for life advice on a cesspool like 4chanYou're full of shit.
>>25593667>>25593669Touched a nerve lmao
>>25593667Angry, shitty little zoomer cretin.
>>25593674>>25593675You’re stonewalling any discourse in this thread being an insufferable faggot lol, mad at lost youth or something? Loser.
>>25593664I think the easiest thing to fix is sleep then.Maybe pick up a long, dry book and read it instead of posting shit or whatever, then go to bed to think about what you just read.Maybe "Metaphors we live by".
>>25593632Do shrooms or lsd reset your brain's default mode network and build new and healthier habits. Might also have the side effect of temporarily curing your depression. If you aren't willing to experiment you don't want it badly enough.
>>25593597don't even need a book, just read this letterhttps://founders.archives.gov/documents/Jefferson/01-10-02-0226
>>25593597>due to bla bla invalid inference to fill lack of known perceptible causes, confident bullshit scientism of the naive etceterayou are "depressed" because of your vimshottari mahadasha in vedic astrology
>>25593597Read any good, lightweight prose before going to sleep. Don't take any notes or anything. Just read well written and enjoyable narrative for a few minutes every night. That way you can create a habit as well. I'm currently reading Short stories for a year by Pirandello and it's pretty cozy.
>>25593597If you have actual brainfog (feeling of unpleasant drunkenness with no seeming cause) it can often be due to internal fermentation from a dogshit microbiome. 1. Stop eating oats as they are basically poison. 2. Start fermenting your own sauerkraut and have it with every lunch.3. Take 1200mg of NAC every morning. 4. The sauerkraut should be good enough, but if you want to spend money on commercial probiotics, Miyarisan is okay. Don't waste your money on a bunch of expensive strains. You should have way more concentration after that. Brainfog is a really specific thing with a very specific chemistry behind it. It's not a general lack of motivation.
Go sleep nigger. Now!
I'm chronically ill, I wish I could work out.
>>25593627/pol/ < anime btw.
>>25596339It’s not like he’s going to feel sleepier if you yell at him.
>>25593632You literally just have to do it. There is no other answer. If you don't do it, your will does not want it, you just want to complain.
>>25593597People always give some blanket advice about fixing brain fog but the one that is often overlooked is your fucking posture.Do you have a tech neck? Or generally some spinal problems in your neck/lower back? You might consider doing stretches (look them up online) or get some orthopedic pillow to sleep on. If all those fail, consider some concoction of meds that stimulate the blood flow to the brain.I struggled with brain fog for years after my spinal injury but it all went away when I've got a mighty good pillow, stretched everyday, and took a three month course of supplements that improved my neck arteries.Turns out that my shoulders were so tense that my muscles pinched the arteries in my neck and made my brain oxygen starved. Not saying it would help you, but this advice is often overlooked, which I find weird, since most of us sit in front of screens and it fucks your posture up.
>>25593597Ray PeatFocus on nutrition, your body and mind will not heal without it. Milk if you can digest itHard exercise won’t help and may make these much worse - but you should be walking, get a least 10,000 steps a day. Life is movement
>>25597191I think my neck is fucked ever since I injured myself slightly years ago squatting. It definitely causes all sorts of problems when it gets bad, dizziness, sleepiness, brain fog, headaches etc.But then I'm also not sure if it's the root cause, since even when my neck doesn't hurt, I don't feel that good, but it's also possible that my neck is still fucked in those moments and I just don't feel it because a medium neck tension is just my baseline.I have an orthopedic pillow, and sometimes get massages. Could you explain what stretches and supplements helped you the most?
