When I was a kid (in Alaska) my dad mended a raven's broken wing. My parents named him Quoth: Quoth the raven

The refrain OP is asking for is
"quoth the raven, 'Nevermore'"
The word 'quoth' is an archaic English word that basically means 'said' --think of 'quotation marks' or 'the reporter quoted the senator verbatim'
Because it's no longer in use generally, 'Quoth' is a cute name for a raven, and, in light of the poem, a clever enough name. I'm sure other domestic ravens have been named 'Quoth' as well

the word "quoth" is not related to the word "quote". It comes from Old English "cweþan", and survives into Modern English in the word "bequeath". It is basically the past tense of "queath" were such a word to exist.

He's the most consequential author since Shakespeare.
