Best you can do is that one podcast on YouTube with that couple that looks like they're Adams family failed abortions. If there was a good argument for procreation you'd hear politicians repeating it 24/7

Choosing not to have a kid can have philosophical underpinnings. Choosing to have a kid is mostly about deciding you can make it work financially (which generally involves a degree of carelessness, but who cares) and then just not avoiding it. If you talk to actual parents they usually say something like they just went for it and it mostly worked out. Anyway, having kids is natural and it's not that difficult (unless the kid comes out retarded or something like that). They're like a more interesting version of a pet that get easier to take care of over time instead of harder. If you try to be a good parent at all they love you for it -- the irrational love thing isn't a one way street. The main issue is they take up a 20 year block of your life, which means you probably have to have them before you're 100% ready to as far as the way living works in a post-industrial economy. But that's not a philosophical roadblock, it's just a headache for your accountant.
