I'm about to read it for the third time.

Read most of murakami’s books but haven’t gotten to this or 1Q84 yet. I’ve found the ones people claim are their favorites are the ones I’ve liked the least.

Norwegian wood and Hardboiled seem to top some people’s lists and yet I liked Sputnik the most and liked City and it’s uncertain walls much more than it’s predecessor. Finished Killing Commendatore and After Hours recently and they ranked quite highly for me among his works. I might go back and delve into the rat books again because I loved them my first run through and think I may be under-rating them due to having read them first.

Nice, the only one I re-read was pic related, but it was just as good the second time. Murakami books are strangely comfy for me, I don't know why.

I've only read it once but I have a feeling I wont like it as much on the 2nd time around.

I would rather never learn how to read than read Murakami twice
