>>23839731It was fun while it lasted. It got so much lazier after the initial launch. They were literally doing machine translations, but still ended up fucking it up like in pic related.
So I just finished Roze. It was kinda ok? The first half was kind of a rehash of R1 (complete with the Seven Stars being the Not-Early Black Knights). Then it kind of goes full Gundam near the end (Somehow Charles returned, only he's Rau le Crueset + Full Frontal now, and ripping off Iron Mask's plan from F91).Overall it was entertaning but also kind of disapponting? Like showing that Sunrise doesn't really know what to do with Geass other than try to make it a bad Gundam clone? Also we needed more Raspberry screentime.
>>23846800>Somehow Charles returnedHe didn't, and people are still retarded for saying this
>>23847710It's just a little joke based on the meme, dude. Doesn't change the fact that Norland was some fusion of Rau, Full Frontal and Iron Mask and somehow less interesting than either of them.Hell, Roze probably would have been improved if Somehow Charles Returned. At least then we would have gotten Wakamoto's over the top bombast again instead of being stuck with Norland's boring stoicness to the end. Also, was there any kind of reason given why the Black Knights didn't just smuggle Suzaku, Kallen and their KMFs into Hokkaido on those subs they use to resupply the rebels and just have them kill all the Neo Brits?
>>23846744>literally just loulou with luscious tatas
>>23848122You say that as if it's a bad thing. Now I can fap to female Lulu and it won't bw gay. Also Sakuya isn't literally Lelouch. She's quite a bit dumber than him. My headcanon is that she does the dramatic gestures when using her Geass because she saw Lulu do it when he gave her the Geass and thinks its required when using the Geass.
>>23848112
Okay so I'm like 15 years too late but I just finished Code Geads Season 1.I have some questions. 1. Were the Black Knights really so weak that they could not capture the Tokyo Headquarters without Gawain's assistance? Zero literally did 95% of the work. They couldn't do the last bit? 2. How come they didn't duplicate Gawain's Hadron blaster weapon for mass production? 3. Can someone be double affected by a Geass? Like if someone has a Geass that uses telekinesis and controls someone. But lelouch orders the controlled person to do something else. Will the 2 Geass powers cancel out? 4. who are the other knights of the round? Why didn't they show up?5. How strong is Shinkiro's shield? I thought it was called absolute but seems to fail against swords? 6. Why did Ougi betray Zero? He acted surprised when he found out Zero wasn't Japanese but he was literally told this by the Japanese elders in Season 1 that Zero is not Japanese. 7. Are the Black knights stupid? Don't they realize that if they are under the effect of Geass slave commands, then they wouldn't be able to question it. If Zero ordered them to be his willing slave, then they wouldn't be able to question it 8. Did l just watch 4 knights of the round just immediately die to Lancelot Albion despite them being hyped up as the best pilots in the world for the entire season? We didn't even see their mecha.9. Someone please explain the ending of the Galahad VS Lancelot Albion fight. How did Suzaku win? He just did something and then cut Galahad in half. I don't get it. 10. Why couldn't Lelouch make his own Fleia warheads? Lloyd seems pretty smart. 11. Why did Lloyd say there was no pilot on Earth that could control Guren Seiten? I thought Suzaku could do it?12. Is Guren Seiten Capable of shooting beams from it's wings like Albion.12. Why did they say Lancelot Albion was weaker than Seiten? They both use energy wings.
>>23848158>>23848122
>>23848438Yeah I know about the barrier, but we see in the series that the BK can smuggle shit into Hokkaido (The Seven Stars new KMFs, Nina and her anti-FLEIJA gear) so why don't they smuggle in Suzaku, Kallen and a couple of overpowered KMFs and have them decimate Norland's Neo Brit goons?
>>23848480Because that won't work
>>23848485Why not?
>official C.C. nipples(areola)I wish there's a Kallen version.
>>23848487Because the barrier makes those "overpowered KMFs" not work
>>23848462>1pretty much. By the time Lelouch ran off by himself, the BK forces were spread pretty thin, and I guess Todoh dropped the ball.>2While they didn't full on replicate it, it is used as a main weapon on one of the KoTR>3Probably? It's never shown. It's probably weighed by which caster had the stronger will, but that's just head canon.>4They don't really go into this much in the show, but Britannia is fighting a pretty major war against the EU, with a majority of the knights fighting there.>5idk>6Ougi is retarded. Basically once Schneizel brought up geass, that scrutinized basically everything the BK organization has done up to that point, so trust with Zero basically plummeted>7Yeah they're pretty dumb, and might have jumped the gun just pulling weapons on Lelouch, but Lelouch basically doubled down on pretending to be the bad guy, so they just went with what they were told.>8Yeah, they're literally just jobbers. Dorothea has like, 5 seconds of screen time before blowing up.>9So Galahad's pilot had the ability to see the future, but Suzaku basically just B lined right towards him, and presumably, couldn't counter attack it.>10Nina's special sauce. She was developing them for quite a while before we actually see them in action. By the time developing them was on the table, Nina had already joined Lelouch's side, and by then it made more sense to make something that could neutralize them.>11Just something to hype up Kallen. I don't think they put too much thought into this line.>12We don't see this, so it was probably developed later with the Albion.>13Like point 11, they wanted to hype up Suzaku. It's "technically" weaker. From some other anons thoughts I've seen on here, it basically boils down to the Seiten being everything and the kitchen sink (since it was basically Lloyd and co.'s pet project), and the Albion being a more streamlined design, but they're both monsters.
>>23848462>Why did they say Lancelot Albion was weaker than Seiten? They both use energy wings.Because Seiten had more raw power since it was Lloyd and Cecile dumping any tech they could think of for fun since it wasn't planned to be used in their forces and they didn't factor stability and control when making it compared to Albion which was built for Suzaku's upgrade.
Does anyone have those "hypothetically if I ordered you to" pics of Euphy's alt endings, I swear there were at least two, apparently I didn't save either
>>238484621. It was the shock of command suddenly changing from Zero to Todoh, none of them were ready for that.3. Not sure, although when Charles memory wiped Lelouch, it did seem to override and hide Lelouch's geass, so one geass can seal another, maybe it can be overriden too 4. At the time of the show airing that was basically all the KOTR that existed, but since then they have retconned in a few more, still not all positions have been filled, they are some empty seats still. As some knights retire or die, and replacements haven't been found yet5. I believe as long as its powered its absolute, except against gino new swords, which were made from Bismark's sword, which has some special properties, didn't he use it to cut a beam in half. So ulitmate shield vs ultimate sword, here the shield loses.6. Ougi was a virgin, Villeta was his first and she is really hot.7. Well, it was the heat of the moment, no time to think about it, and the most intelligent members were either not there, (Rakshata, Xingke, kaguya), tried to fight it(Dietard) or had other motives to allow it (Ohgi, Villeta, Chiba, Todoh). Leaving the rest to just go along with it.8 Yes, you did, of course, they many years later, retconned in some mechs for them. But at the time they didn't even have mecha, so we had no idea what they were even pilotting.9. I think it was a combination of the Lancelot Albion speed, plus Suzaku going straight ahead towards Bismark. As his future sight has a time lag, he only sees a few seconds in the future and he had the worse machine. Suzaku going full speed straight, seeing only a few seconds in the future doesn't help Bismark much.11 and 13 the Albion was built for suzaku, a well-balanced very powerful machine, the Seiten was them goofing off, building the ulitmate KMF, not caring if it feasible, or even pilotable, just a fun side project, adding all sorts of crazy features. Then kallen somehow makes it work, with her piloting skills, surprising them.
>>23849332>At the time of the show airing that was basically all the KOTR that existed, but since then they have retconned in a few more, still not all positions have been filled, they are some empty seats still. As some knights retire or die, and replacements haven't been found yet This seems like a huge wasted opportunity. They should have shown more knights. >As his future sight has a time lag, he only sees a few seconds in the future and he had the worse machine.Wait. How do you know it's the worse machine? Galahad was literally dominating everyone. He was manhandling Xinke's Shen Hu with his bare hands. He was literally punching Shen Hu and sending it flying backwards.
>>23849439>Wait. How do you know it's the worse machine? The 9th Gen is just THAT absurdly powerful
>>23848503Suzaku and Kallen are basically the best KMF pilots in world at this point. Even piloting KMFs on the level of what Ash and Roze were piloting, they'd still be above more than a match for the lijes of Scissorman and Temu Orange.
>>23849442Isn't 9th Gen just 8th Gen mecha but with energy wings? Basically they get a speed boost.
>>23849488>Be the main protagonist of Code Geass>Not even the best KMF pilot at all in your own seriesWhat went wrong with Lelouch as a pilot?
>>23849488Kallen and Suzaku are strong, yeah, maybe even the best, sure. But a lot of their "One Man Army" stuff came about because of tech advantages. Whenever things were more evenly matched they were strong but hardly the unstoppable force. Its more akin to Amuro in Zeta. Sure he is the best, but he's not winning a war on his own.

No one, not even Schnizel knew the conditions or limits of Geass, only that it could happen>8.Albion is just that good>9.Galahad could see a few seconds into the future but Albion was leveraging the LIVE Geass command to be better and Albion is the better (and cooler) machine>10.Uranium enrichment is a slow process, a core component of F.L.E.I.J.A, and Schnizel probably had all the centrifuges and enrichment equipment taken or destroyed when completing Damocles, along with all the warheads>11.Lloyd is not a god, he can be wrong, Suzaku could probably do it>12.Who knows, Kallen seems to prefer knifefighting range though>13.Kallen is just that good, and Seitan was suped up to such a level that pretty much only Kallen and Suzaku could effectively pilot
>>23850356They're superior in all ways speed strength and power. They have superior generators which means more output and weapon power. That's why Seiten was manhandling the original Lancelot just in brute force (when they clashed swords the Lancelot's shattered and then when Suzaku tried his kick the Lancelot's leg broke off). The only 8th generation frame that could sort of match them in power was the Galahad.
>>23850702He's in poor physical shape and thus has slow reaction time which means he can't keep up in high speed physical combat which is basically the most effective type of combat in this universe. We see in most of Lelouch's fights he can aim perfectly and pull off dexterous maneuvers but when someone gets right up in his face and starts smashing him he can't keep up.
>>23896314>Albion is the better (and cooler) machine Absolutely not. 9th Gen MS are so boring. Just a bunch of stupid angel wings. Japanese can't seem to come up with a final form that doesn't involve angel wings.8th Gen like Galahad, Shinkiro, Zangetsu, and Tristan had so much more personality.

And he might have used them on us! >He does?>He did?>No idea! But let's fuck him over anyway! >Yeah! That is how it went down in the show. Simply because they wrote themselves into a corner and had to force this conflict.
>>23898270Captain Shammy my beloved.
>>23898692While that is dumb, dumb stuff happens in actual history all the time, especially during revolutions and the like.
>>23898794I get it, but the guy who made EVERYTHING WORSE got the best ending. If Lelouche just won as he should have, Ohgi could have kept his gf anyway. He had zero reason to betray the guy, and the reasons for doing so made him look like an idiot. In fact, I think this isnt the first time he fucked Zero over either.
>>23898800Oh I'm not saying he's not a douche, just that that kind of group betrayal on weak arguments and for little purpose is sadly familiar.
>>23898692>That is how it went down in the showNo it wasn't, you just don't like seeing Lelouch fuck up
>>23898824Yeah...>>23898825You just going to forget how everything fell apart because Ohgi decided to keep an enemy combatant in his room?

>>23898871Tell me or else
>>23898831No, you forget that things were pretty much settled BEFORE Ohgi arrived at the meeting, or how Villetta was being held prisoner by Diethard before she escaped.

>>23898692>Lelouch is a former Britannian prince and has mind control powers> That's hard to believe, but actually makes sense when you remember the sheer amount of people that gave us free stuff or did outright suicidal things like collapse the settlement floor plates when we most needed them. And he DID say repeatedly that he was a Britannian.> He also massacred some people> Toudoh: I can confirm that since Asahina told me and sent that data before he died.> He's probably using you for his own vendetta and crusade to take over Britannia for his own means.> Zero is this true?> Lelouch: MWAHAHAHA you fools yes I've been using you all along (this is a lie but he's goading them into just killing him because he thinks Nunally died and has no reason to live)> Well shit....I guess it's true.> Rolo proceeds to jump in with his own mind control powers. A short while later Lelouch takes over Britannnia and declares himself emperor seemingly proving Schnizel right.People seem to only remember Viletta talking to Ougi and then the Black Knights kicking him out and forgot that there was actually evidence against him and when confronted Lelouch said it was all true and only someone personally familiar with his self loathing and martyr habit would know he was lying.
>>23898962>People seem to only remember Viletta talking to Ougi and then the Black Knights kicking him out and forgot that there was actually evidence against him and when confronted Lelouch said it was all true and only someone personally familiar with his self loathing and martyr habit would know he was lying.I mean, they were all seriously confronting him over the magic powers. Yeah, he didn't even attempt to defend himself, but the fact they turned around so quickly until believing in the supernatural in a way that would only benefit the Britannians they were supposed to fight against is the problem.
>>23898971Why wouldn't they believe the magic powers story when it not only made sense with all the various things that always went the Black Knights way even the point of suicidal actions on Britannias part, and Todoh had a report from Asahina (which was given to him by the one other guy that participated in the raid against the Geass cult) that straight up confirmed that Lelouch had them hit a facility full of people with magic powers that was used on them first hand. It wasn't that impossible to believe, especially since it was in fact true to begin with
>>23898971Schnizel also had a FLEIJA warhead on his diplomatic craft, that probably already set the Black Knights on edge enough to make them less than questioning of evidence presented and looking for an easy way out
>>23898975>Why wouldn't they believe the magic powers story when it not only made sense with all the various things that always went the Black Knights wayA lot of their reasoning on turning against him is fear that he had been controlling them with these powers. The logic itself breaks down.Especially when they get the final info that supposedly makes everything fit together from Britannians that had been actively fighting against Japan.>especially since it was in fact true to begin withThese abilities existed for centuries and yet had faded out and were unknown in the modern day. It's not like the Geass world is portrayed as more superstitious than reality.
>>23898962>People seem to only remember Viletta talking to Ougi and then the Black Knights kicking him out and forgot that there was actually evidence against himBecause its easier than actually putting blame on or acknowledging Lelouch's mistakesThats why over the years people make dishonest arguments like >"These guys are idiots for believing in magic powers like the ones we know Lelouch actually has!"They'd rather look for technicalities than actually think about the implications for the people just now hearing about these things and his actions
>Sorry General Eisenhower, but Goebbles just accused you on radio of mind controlling your subordinates with Jewish black magic. Patton and Montgomery are furious at this perceived betrayal, so we're going to have to take you in until we get all the facts sorted out, for your own safety of course.
>>23899167>Also, I am going to accuse you of using us as pawns, while using your most trusted soldier as a pawn to lure you out>Then I am going say that you don't care about our lives, only to threaten to kill said soldier if she tries to even hear you out>I am also going throw a fit about you keeping secrets, while keeping a secret that endangers the entire Allied war effort >I am the good guy
>>23899167>Patton and Montgomery are furious at this perceived betrayalPatton would though
The betrayal of Zero doesn't make sense. 1. In Season 1, The Black Knight leaders were told specifically by the old leaders of the Japanese Liberation front that Zero was not Japanese, he truly hates Beittannia, and that they should follow him. 2. If Geass has the power to command absolute obedience, then anyone under the influence of Geass would not question it. If all the Black Knight leaders were Geass slaves to Lelouch, then none of them would be able to question the situation. Their loyalty would be absolute.
>>23899167You're probably better off looking at something like the French Revolution for historical parallels.
>>23899551It's almost as if Lelouche was winning too hard and they had to fuck him over.
>>23899551>1. In Season 1, The Black Knight leaders were told specifically by the old leaders of the Japanese Liberation front that Zero was not Japanese, he truly hates Beittannia, and that they should follow him. Also in season 1, he abandoned them when they were about to wim to go search for a girl in the wheelchair, which was apparently more important than things like Ohgi being shot and them winning.>2. If Geass has the power to command absolute obedience, then anyone under the influence of Geass would not question it. If all the Black Knight leaders were Geass slaves to Lelouch, then none of them would be able to question the situation. Their loyalty would be absolute. So meaning that they maybe haven't had it used on them yet, like Guilford suddenly joining them out of nowhere which was actually pointed out the previous episode by Rakshata btw, and wait for him to? Also you answered another possible reason to your own first point because Geass can just mean he might have made Kirihara say that from their point of view, just like how two JLF leaders suddenly decided to kill themselves. Moreover, you are able to see these points because you watched the show and know all these details. They have not, snd are not omniscient.
>>23899744>Also in season 1, he abandoned them when they were about to wim to go search for a girl in the wheelchair, which was apparently more important than things like Ohgi being shot and them winning. Lelouch carried them 95% of the way during the battle of Tokyo. Lelouch had to leave. They couldn't finish the final 5% themselves? Seriously? That's on them. Not Lelouch.
>>23899767wars are won or lost on morale and morale alone, lelouch leaving shattered the morale of the black knights and militia that followed
>>23899774Also besieging a fortified city held by professional soldiers and led be experienced commanders, whereas militia consist the majority of your forces. I doubt that even the majority of the BK's can compare to the average Britannian soldier either.I don't really understand how the Black Rebellion could have succeeded even with the Chinese Federation's intervention desu.
>>23899788>I don't really understand how the Black Rebellion could have succeeded even with the Chinese Federation's intervention desu.geass cornelia to issue a surrender, which is what lulu should have done
>>23899788Capture Cornelia and use her as a hostage to force the Britannians to stand down. Which was his plan except V.V. stealing Nunnally and Jeremiah showing up ruined all that
>>23899682That came right on the cusp of him getting totally BTFO in his second Tokyo attempt because Suzaku nuked everything. He wasn't winning anything
>>23899767No, its on him. Especially when he has one of their best KMF>>23899788This is sort of the mistake people make in assuming Lelouch's intentions being more noble than they actually are.Lelouch's plan was really to turn Japan into such a mess for Britannia that the Emperor himself would be forced to directly get involved. Going after him was always his aim. His motivation was his mother's death, hence why he used his Geass to interrogate Cornelia on her knowledge.
>>23899914Exactly. While Lelouch wasn't unsympathetic to the Japanese and did plan to give them their freedom in the end he was always using them for his own vendetta first and foremost.
>>23899767That's not the point. The fact that Lelouch ducked out on them for a random Britannian girl is proof to them that he's only manipluating them. Even in R2 they were salty and mistrustful after that even if they remained openly loyal to the point where Todoh and his remaining guys were questioning if they could trust him and planned to break off if he proved untrustworthy.
>>23899921The flaw in tge argument a lot people ignore when they make it about all the Black Knights success being on Lelouch is that their biggest failures are also 100% on him too. If Lelouch is making their relationship about the results he brings being worth the the secrets and other issues, that if he can't deliver on those results, like he did with both Tokyo battles massively, by the logic of the argument he isn't good anymore.
>>23899930Again it really just comes down to the general attitude of Lelouch-good everyone that does something against him-Bad
>>23899921>>23899914>No, its on him. Especially when he has one of their best KMF Nonsense. Lelouch was doing all the work using Gawain. He wiped out most of the enemies. Let's assume Lelouch doesn't leave the battlefield, but his suit is damaged by another Knightmare Frame. If he has to leave for repairs, does that mean the entire battle is lost? If the entire plan relies on Gawain carrying the army, then it was a terrible plan and the Black Knights suck.
>>23899983>If the entire plan relies on Gawain carrying the army, then it was a terrible plan and the Black Knights suck.If it was a terrible plan, thats on the person who came up with it: LelouchNo matter how you try and shift blame, it comes back to Lelouch because he is the leader. He comes up with the plans, he gave people their roles, etc.>>23899947Fans just refuse to look at the situation from any angle other than Lelouch's, hence why they basically try to avoid any. They are dumb for believing in the mind control powers he actually had, they should trust someone who doesn't trust them, they should thank him for their success but not blame him for any of his failures, erc. Fans just feel unnecessarily spiteful that they not blindly follow Lelouch, so Ohgi and they others get hate because nothing can ever be Lelouch's fault.
>>23861196>Write an entire AU manga where Nanally gets her legs back>Never use it for anything
>>23900006>Ohgi and they others get hate because nothing can ever be Lelouch's fault. No that's not why they get the hate, the hate comes from selling Lelouch out for literally the absolute worse alternative objectively in Schneizel's plan to make a massive floating fortress that fires unstable nuclear missiles as the appropriate peace keeping deterrence.
>>23900537By the time Schneizel brought that out they were already between a rock and a hard place because Lelouch had declared himself the enemy of the world and taken a huge amount of their people hostage. Something that only happened because they tried to place nice with Emperor Lelouch to begin with and he screwed them. They didn't think Damocles was a good idea to begin with but sided with Schneizel because the option he gave them was "Join me to fight Lelouch or I nuke your guys" and then of course it turned out he was gonna nuke them anyway but again their hands were tied.
>>23900576>Lelouch had declared himself the enemy of the world and taken a huge amount of their people hostage. He had to do that because their was no other way to oppose Schneizel otherwise. You aren't wrong that people should be looking at things from other perspectives, but in the case of this one Code Geass, siding with Schneizel was retarded, because they're hang up about the situation was "man, we fought against the Britannians, stopped on numerous occasions from them trying to genocide us Japanese, even smuggled a great deal of our people out of Britannian territory, but we could have been hypnotized to do all that against our will, so we should just side with Schneizel, potentially undo literally all the work we did thus far to get our autonomy to ensure that we keep put autonomy." Like they didn't even past scenarios trying to remember if they even were geass'd by Lelouch, Ohgi just heard what the power did, and no hard proof of it being real and it being used of them, just said, " nah that guy is messing with our minds, taking our free will, man!"
>>23900661>but we could have been hypnotized to do all that against our willNo. You can't. Because those under Geass command do not question their orders. The slave Geass soldiers under Lelouch fight for him happily. The fact that you question Geass means you were not under Geass command. Get it?
>>23900690I get it why couldn't Ohgi? You see why we call him retarded now?
>>23900697Ohgi was never leadership material. He was basically a nice guy pushover that just happened to be friends with the Black Knights hardcore members like Kallen. The moment things get personal for Ohgi and his family or friends are threatened....is the moment he throws loyalty out of the window.
>>23900537That didn't happen until later, not relevant to the betrayal. People were blaming them before that episode came out.>>23900576>>23900661Lelouch WANTED them to not trust him anyway. He did stuff like use his Geass on live TV and things like giving citizenship to Numbers but not freeing the Areas, to make sure they would think something was up. When they get proven right about him being a snake, it makes them look better long term. And because he wanted Schneizel to be also, he wanted them to side with him and push them together. Also, all of 5 people knew what Damocles was really for with Schneizel, so that plan isn't relevant for what other people are deciding on.>>23900697>I get it why couldn't Ohgi?Because you watched the show and he didn't. You know all the rules of the Geass because Lelouch explains for the viewer how it works in the first 5 episodes.Inside the series? We see Guilford flip on a dime, being involved with arresting him and guarding him and then suddenly acting like Lelouch is Cornelia out of nowhere. How do you think that looks to other people? That someone like that can be flipped, maybe with a trigger word or action? How do you know no one else has that? And if not, why would you wait for him to do that to you?The "Oh, they can question it so that means they should know he didn't!" falls apart when you look out all the times Lelouch does trigger commands, like with Tokyo plate dropping staff, who can act completely normal most of the time until the trigger happens, or Guilford.
>>23900776Their argument was that Lelouch was controlling them right now like a slave. They got all paranoid and started questioning everything.
>>23900776>Lelouch WANTED them to not trust him anyway.Again that was after the fact, when Schneizel has already convinced the black knights to begin doubting him and drive him out. When he did all that become the supervillian and drive them together, that was basically is only option. What the argument is about how ever is before all that when Schneizel has literally next to no definitive proof Geass is even a thing to be able to any convince any body and Ohgi is buying into real hard and starts convincing others to start doubting. At that point it was him was having to choose between, the guy who has been leading them thus far out of bad situation after of bad situation vs the guy from the enemy side who making a bullshit claim based on barely substantial info.
>>23900815>Schneizel has literally next to no definitive proof Geass is even a thing to be able to any convince any body and Ohgi is buying into real hard and starts convincing others to start doubting.Exactly. Scheneizel had no proof. Yet the Black Knights and Ougi believed him so hard. The worst part? They had no idea if Lelouch had other Geass users next to him like Rollo who could freeze people's brains. The BK only though Geass was Lelouch's power. If Lelouch really was the bad guy, he would have a bunch of secret Geass bodyguards loyal to him. So when the Black Knights ambush him, they wouldn't stand a chance. Lelouch would get his Geass guards to slaughter them all. So not only were the Black Knights stupid , they were also idiots for attacking Lelouch like that.
>>23900697Because you have a perspective from watching the entire situation from an outsiders point of view so you know Lelouch and his motivations and character intrinsically in a way Ougi does not because beneath all the Zero dramatics Lelouch is just some kind he really doesn't know that well.
>>23900690That's not always true. See Suzaku's live command which only affected him when he gave up in the face of death somthing he was aware of when it wasn't active and didn't like and tried to fight against. Or when he only Geassed Guilford to see him as Cornelia but nothing else so Guilford found the situation strange but thought he was helping Cornelia. He had several levels beyond total obedience where he could have given them subtle commands they weren't aware of.
>>23900918Then that proves the Black Knights are fighting of their own free will. Don't you get it? He's not controlling them like slaves.
>>23900927No it doesn't. It could also mean he gave them an order that makes them think they were like Guilford, or that he could have put a hidden command he could trigger on them they didn't know about.
>>23900964It means they aren't under Geass command 24/7. Which means they still have free will. If they were under a hidden Geass command, they would not have agreed to rebel and ally with Schneizel.
I'm dying Squirtle.
>>23900815>>23900829Yeah, Schneizel has no proof of Geass......other than the recording of Lelouch saying he used his Geass on Euphie.
How would things have gone if Lelouch had revealed his identity and geass way earlier? Like during S1? I'm a Brittanian prince, I'm out for revenge against my dad for maybe killing my mom and am fighting for Japan as a means to that end, I've got this magic eye that controls people once, let me demonstrate, here's how I've already used it. We cool?
>>23901051>*bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang*>*slump*no
>>23901045They didn't even know who Zero identity was at that point, the Euphie confession was only used after they betrayed him and labeled him officially a Geass user and a global threat. Schneizel had literally nothing prior to the actual betrayal that should have convincing enough to Ohgi, he only had brown Brittainian pussy to aid him.
>>23901064>Schneizel had literally nothingexcept for a fleija warhead in his aircraft
>>23901067If anything that should have tipped him off to NOT work with Schneizel.
>>23901064>to OhgiSee, there you are focusing on Ohgi irrationallyOhgi wasn't there, he came in at the very end. And no, the Euphie confession was all presented during the meeting, did you even watch it?Are you arguing against events of a show you never even watched?
>>23901097Oghi wasn't at the ambush but he was the one Schneizel got to first to set this in motion, the whole thing with Ohgi was that he was being pressured and manipulated with Britannian choco-bunny hypnosis to into black knights heads. Again the confession of Euphie means nothing because they didn't even know Zero was Lelouch in the first place. That confession is only compelling as proof when the identity is finally connected, with out that Schneizel has nothing convincing to warrant them rationally considering ambushing Lelouch otherwise.
>>23901122>Oghi wasn't at the ambush but he was the one Schneizel got to first to set this in motionOkay, thank you for confirming that you've never watch Code GeassFuck off, retard
>>23901125I'm sorry you can't pay attention anon.
>>23901051In season 1 it would have went very badly. If he tried at the beginning of season 2 it might have worked because Kallen trusted him and Urabe also approved of him even though he was dead by then so she might have convinced everyone else.
A big other thing is that Schneizel revealed that Lelouch deliberately killed Todoh's former boss and allies in the JLF in order to eliminate competition in the area so Kyoto house would be forced to rely on the Black Knights and Todoh and his guys would have to work for him instead. I don't know how Schnizel found this out, but it was true and that alone would be enough to turn the BK against him, especially Todoh.
Nice to see people are still seething about Ougi and the Knights almost 20 years later. Is this the new Seed Destiny Anti Lacus thing?
>>23901636I just think people were upset at such stupid writing and expected something better. Like when the Black Knights turning against Lelouch when he ordered the Geass children to be murdered. That would have at least made better sense since it seems like, from the eyes of the Black Knights, he's ordering the death of civilians. Not for the Black Knights to turn against Lelouch because Schneizel said so and Ougi agreed.
>>23901712Yeah, lelouche should have done something in the moment out of pure emotion that shook the black knights faith in him. Then lelouche realizes too late the consequences of his actions. Something he can't justify or talk his way out of. His arrogance should have been his downfall.
>>23901732>His arrogance should have been his downfall. He already had that moment like twice in S1, the first being Euphie's accident, something that people seem to fail to comprehend the the entire point of that scene. Then the S1 finale was his second time where Cornelia and Orangeman fuck up his final seige and he couldn't get to Nunally
>>23901712Like>>23901633 said, the betrayal would have made more sense if it was Todoh main one pushing the doubt instead of Ougi. It would have actually been a legit matter of "Can we trust this dude or not" vs what they went with, basing it off the of the fear of Lelouch taking away your free will with Geass.
>>23901712>I just think people were upset at such stupid writingIt wasn't stupid, you just don't like seeing Lelouch face consequences.
>>23901743>main one pushing the doubt instead of OugiOhgi wasn't even the main one pushing doubt. Again, Ohgi came in at the end.Stop hating on characters from shows you haven't actually watched.
>>23901846So how about you refresh my memory and tell us where the doubt came from to set the betrayal in motion in a justifiably believable manner. End of Season 1 when Lelouch bailed? That can't be it. Sure it was a decisive battle they dropped the ball at because they were waiting on his orders. But the time frame between that and the betrayal is like a whole half season or more apart, So much time passed since then and they hadn't taken a major L like that since that battle, it's too stale for that to be their main reason to suspect to betray him.As we went over Schneizel's evidence shouldn't mean shit, because no one in black knights even knows who Zero is under the mask at this point. Even with him dressed as zero on tape telling Euphie that he's Zero and demonstrating the power that's not damning enough evidence, because remember how they got put of Japan was that they dressed literally everyone up as Zero and fucking left as per the agreement. So with that in mind and the fact that this info being presented from the enemy camp, there's no reason for the black knights to not assume that info is a stage fabrication. He has other Intel sure about Lelouch kicking out the other leaders in the JLF but Schneizel whole gambit was to go after Lelouch for his geass powers and the blacks knights turn on him over the matter of Zero being a Geass user, but the issue is again Schneizel has no viable way of proofing Lelouch is Zero to them, so they should have no reason to believe anything he says. That part of show when Schneizel is involve is when Lelouch stayed dressed as Zero the whole time and he never dropped the persona in public. That's what we are getting at.
>>23901915Wow, you really haven't watched the show, you got a ton of details wrong thereI can't fathom being upset at plot developments in a show I haven't watched like you are here.
>>23901919I can't fathom acting like you know the exact details of a show your claiming others didn't watch and then refusing to demonstrate your knowledge to prove them wrong.
>>23901923And give you more details to pretend you know what your talking about? Watch the show first yourself and come back
>>23901968I'm just saying as it stands it's showing I've watch more of the show than you have.
>>23901972If you've watched more of the show, why do you keep getting basic info wrong?
>>23901982If your claiming any of my info is wrong why are you refusing to correct me, sir Code Geass expert?
>>23901999If I can spot the errors, why can't you?
>>23902004Because we are far past that point, you need to prove that they are errors.
>>23902071Nah, post correct info. I'm not helping you, go watch the show.
Lulufags just insist he can do no wrong and everyone that doesn't kiss his ass and do his every bidding sucks and should have died. The fact that it's phrased like it's somehow the BK's fault for not driving back all the forces of Britannia when he bailed on them makes that clear
>>23902136but they do suck and should have died, like that stupid bitch shirley
It's kind of funny that the general argument is "They shouldn't have believed Schnizel he lies" even though everything he said was objectively true and they had verified sources.
