Actually, how is Symphogear fandom faring, especially in Japan? I mean, I know that series definitively ended and XDU closed service. But is it still "alive" in mind of people, enough to justify occasional collaborations or new merchandise?I admit, personally, that my little dream are scale, articulated plastic models from Bandai or Kotobukiya (not action figures), even if I know that this dream have almost zero chance for becoming true. Even if some Kotobukiya models are already pretty close (Ayaka Ichijo Eishun is pretty Chris-like).

Nobody really seems to care about Shirabe Meshi(I look for discussion on it every chapter and barely find any), so now that we're nearing 3 years of popup stores, dj events and 0 news only the hyper-hyper autists are sticking around. My timeline that used to be 95% JP Symphogear posts stopped being that long ago. Even the Pachinko part of the fanbase isn't all crazy about it anymore because the last machine released was apparently terrible and there probably won't be another one since they're out of seasons to adapt.XDU did a lot to keep the IP in the public consciousness, you never knew what they'd release every month. Even people that never touched the game would hear about the crackhead collabs or new song releases. If you're a fat lonely Otaku in Japan and want a Hibiki Christmas cake to pose with, XDU has you covered despite shutting down 2 years ago.
