I didn't find the alternate politics of a victorious Zeon very interesting Kycilia and Gihren wanting to each other is the most obvious outcome possible. The stuff with the Titans was not very interesting because they show up for two episodes then Deux and Gates die like chumps and Bask Om goes back to his home planet because his people need him. There wasn't anything done with Scirocco or the Jovians but they never would have had time for that anyways. We know basically nothing about what Earth is like beyond the implication that it's a bigger shithole than it is in normal UC. Machu and Nyaan get sidelined a lot despite the fact that their Newtype autism connection with Shuji is supposed to be the main plot. I wanted more of them and an exploration of how Newtypes work in this timeline, because they're very clearly using somewhat different rules than mainline UC does. The second they leave Side 6 it functionally doesn't exist so it makes me wonder why they even bothered devoting so much time to Clan Battles. The whole show just makes me confused because I did like it but I don't think it was as good as it could have been.
