What did you like and dislike about the 36th episode?

>>23877790>Con:I still hate Three's suitSieg should have stayed gone for one more episode >Pro: We got to see the less used Capsems again Liked the Nox vs Three fight.
>>23877790Liked:>Sieg being brought back in an impotent form so he can interact with everyone without trying to kill them>3 copying/stealing from Nox for the upgraded Lord form>More capsem use, even if it wasn't Zeztz in the suitsDisliked:>Nox having a moment of usefulness by saving the day just to make things worse by being mind controlled and upgrading 3Nox ain't ever beating the allegations
>>23877607>>23877632>>23877790The scene with Sieg may be on the top 10 worst scenes in Kamen Rider history. The absolute gall of playing the dude as this super massive psycho threat who had to die for the greater good to a class clown, with the people he killed and tortured just seeing him as an annoying member of the team and not a MASS murderer, is a new low. An actual serial killer playing like a kid and being a minor annoyance. Like if Jeffrey Dahmer was a villain in Drive and in a couple of episodes was just chilling on Tridoron. Absolutely awful. They almost saved it by saying it’s a creation of their worst fears, therefore not really being Sieg but just a figment of their imagination, but he knows of Code Somnia so he’s definitely the same guy. Just a huge sign that nothing matters in this show and criminals can become buddies with no genuine excuse. Yeah, they erased him in this episode, but it’s played for laughs and he’s coming back next episode, and will team up to fight CODE. Which is massively hypocritical when Sieg and Three are exactly as bad. What the fuck is stopping Three from joining the gang 5 episodes from now? He’s as heroic as fucking Sieg, had he not killed Six I could totally have seen it happen.Rest of the episode was fine. I liked Baku fighting CODE and not killing a single soldier, it’s good he recognizes Three is the main culprit. Also like that Zero is back, as he’s an essential part of the team dynamic and his loss from the hero cast has affected the show for the worst. And while he is also a dick, he has way better reasons to be a team player than Sieg or Nox.
What are your debut impressions on Lord Three Booster?
>>23877811Its amazing how lacking in presence Three is.
Okay so Zero is very clearly trapped still in the next time preview but this means they placed the Real Minami with the Dream Zero. Which is Silly to think about since this implies you could trap a real person's body into the dream world no?
>>23877823boroboro da
>>23877823I know Ouja got that scene in Ryuki where he participated on the “Shinji’s an idiot” contest, but this somehow feels more insulting. At least by that point in Ryuki the bastard got away with so much shit they became numb to his presence. This dude was their worst fear just 2 episodes ago.
>>23877827It's Takahashi, what can you do.
There’s something so lame about them talking about dreams and the freedom of them. It’s such a silly concept that it makes Saber talking about stories seem super mature in comparison. We forget dreams when we wake up, I can’t believe they’re banking their entire story on that.
>>23877808>>23877823you know what ill say iti like this idea of "yeah nah hes dead hes just now lingering as a impotent dream who cant do any real harm"zeztz isnt bad yall just always start this nitpicking near the tail end of every rider seires
>>23877848>nitpickingI don’t think it’s nitpicking to complain about a major villain returning 2 episodes after his big death scene and becoming comic relief. That is not a normal or good way to handle a character in any media. If you think that’s “nitpicking” then you don’t know much about anything.Go back to twitter if you just wanna see people sucking Zeztz dick. We talk about our honest feelings here.
>>23877844It is kind of a weird contrast for a show that's also about more gritty down to earth stuff like secret agents & government conspiracies and where there's scenes with realistic guns every few episodes.
>>23877848He's obviously gonna get back in action at some point. Also>yallYeah, go back to Twitter.
>>23877844What. There's a lot of stupid childish shit in these series, but you're taking issue with -that-? I really don't see anything wrong with it at all. That's what dreams are. Whether your forget them or not is just a matter of practice.
>>23877808Did we watch the same episode where we got Sieg's back story? Was it not obvious he was gonna come back and join the gang when they made it a point during the flash back montage that he 'seemingly' only targeted criminals and corrupt politicians?
>>23877880>its ok to murder people if they’re badHe was essentially Kira from Death Note, choosing who lives and dies based on his perception. Hope you didn’t think Kira was a good guy when he mainly killed criminals and corrupt politicians. Even if you wanted to say he “only killed evil people” (he definitely didn’t) it’s absolutely not okay for a Kamen Rider series to say someone like him is heroic for doing so. Plenty of villains in the past had that mindset and were not redeemed. At best he was the Punisher and at worst Kira from Death Note. Neither character is worth redeeming.>it was obviousWhy? Because he’s another rider? Dude’s a sadistic unredeemable monster with no positive qualities, he’s only joining the gang because production was so incompetent this year they got no other riders to sell toys with. And even if it was inevitable, it doesn’t make it right nor does it justify how they did it.The way you answer questions by asking more of them…reeks of twitter.
>>23877808>top 10 worst scenes in Kamen Rider historAll of my top 6 worst scenes are with Kyosuke Kiriya and the other 4 are from Revice idk I feel this scene is far from the bottom
>>23877880>Was it not obvious he was gonna come back and join the gang when they made it a point during the flash back montage that he 'seemingly' only targeted criminals and corrupt politicians?Yeah it was obvious, but also extremely hamfisted.
>>23877891>Pointless tangent about Death noteShit Note out of fucking nowhere>He definitely didn'tCool any source for that beyond your headcanon?>>23877902I agree it was hamfisted if they really wanted him to join up they should have introduced him sooner or something because how it was done felt like they were speed running it to this point
>>23877891>He was essentially Kira from Death Note, choosing who lives and dies based on his perception.Do you think Shocker members went through a fair trial before getting killed?
>>23877910>out of nowhereMan with supernatural powers that kills anyone he wants and makes it look like heart attacks, starting with “evil people around the world”. They both even have news broadcast showcasing their crimes. Have some common sense.>>23877921Shocker grunts and villains always attack first and Kamen Rider responds appropriately. The original Kamen Rider didn’t have riders attacking politicians who seemed evil. You’d know that if you had actually seen the show instead of larping.
>>23877926Shocker also had brainwashed most grunts too but lets forget that part
>>23877926They did do stuff like destroying a manned Shocker transport plane (since it was carrying bombs they'd use elsewhere) even though the plane itself wasn't fighting or equipped to fight in anyway. It just feels to me like you're looking at this from some DC/Marvel super hero point of view.
>>23877931Again, you haven’t seen the show, as most Shocker grunts were already criminals and evil before joining. If there were cases where innocents where brainwashed against their will, Rider tried their best to save them. Larper.>>23877935I see it from the point of view of Kamen Rider, which values human life above justice. A belief Baku himself values as seen in this episode where he killed 0 Code agents, despite having the power to do so. That you are okay with Sieg’s mass murders under the flimsy excuse “they were bad people” proves you’re no kamen rider fan, as no heroic Kamen Rider has gone on a killing spree against non powered criminals.Very enlightening thread for Zeztz fans. Explains a lot really.
>>23877945>as no heroic Kamen Rider has gone on a killing spree against non powered criminals.Like... I just posted a video with Stronger killing Neo-Shocker researcher. You're the larper here.
>>23877967>man who kidnapped people and experimented on them>Stronger saves people>evil scientist tries to get them back and Stronger stops him from hurting them againPretty self explanatory, not remotely comparable to Sieg murdering random politicians and criminals he deems “evil”. Especially since you know none of them were affiliated with Shocker or any similar corporation. You’ll notice Stronger doesn’t fight common street gangs or politicians. Or you would if you’d seen those shows, larper.
>>23877931In the OG show they actually convinced a random Combatman to go rogue and Shocker was forced to assassinate him before he could be useful to the good guys, so how good is their brainwashing really?
Says a lot that half this thread so far has been talking about other shows and not this episode.
Are we gonna forget that Sieg literally said all of humanity deserved his punishment? He might've failed in the end, but he did try to get Baku to kill Minami and also tortured Nem and her fans for laughs.
>>23877991He's effectively a neutered dog at this point who's only going to be useful as an ally out of convenience for Baku since NOX got brainwashed. They've already got Baku and Nem treating him as little more than an annoyance
>>23877843Thouser is easily by far my most disliked character in the entire franchise and everytime he's on screen the show immediately becomes retarded. His redemption being SAD CUZ DOG BUT IS OK BECAUSE ROBOT DOG IS FREN NOW actually made me quit watching KR for 3 years
>>23878032>>23877843>>23877827
>>23877976>evil scientist tries to get them back and Stronger stops him from hurting them againThe scientist wasn't a monster or anything though, he couldn't do anything there.>Especially since you know none of them were affiliated with Shocker or any similar corporation. You’ll notice Stronger doesn’t fight common street gangs or politicians.Rider 2 once did beat up some men who ran over a kid with their car on purpose. Now, granted, he just beat them up until they were unconscious in the middle of no where, not outright kill them (until one of them who escaped returned as a Shocker monster later and then got killed), but like... if they're facing and killing members of multiple organizations, I don't see how this is morally different from killing "real" criminals. In universe, they're clearly focused on the actual more important threats, but like in X's ending or Black RX's you get the Riders talking about using their powers to fight for a better world when there seemingly was no villain organization around anymore. It's obviously not the focus of the shows, where the villain is always connected to the Rider they're facing, but I always disliked this idea from American comics that heroes can't actually do anything for the world and at best should just put down threats attempting to change it, which is the impression I get from what you're saying.>>23877991He was fused with a Nightmare at that point too though and they do say that was likely influencing him.
After 5+ episodes, the TRVKer speaks again.
>>23878069Last TRVKE for comparison.
Three losses begin next week.
>>23878069Why didn't he tell Baku about this shit nor tried to take care of it before it became a big problem?
Kousei Amano stealing the role of fave character just by showing some comedy. Granted I love moments where the characters just be themselves more than whatever "plot" most of the shows have been doing.
>>23878106He didnt ask
I don't have a problem with this dead but remembered in dream Sieg. If you've ever dreamt of deceased people or pets it's the same thing. And they learnt lucid dreaming/nightmare baby magic so they can just force him away if he's not complying. Kureha should also get dreamt back but maybe the three goop erased her from reality and dreams forever.
Amaterasu.
>>23877607>>23877790Another weak episode. We got another scene involving a Gore Nightmare, but whatever their deal may be is still very vague at the moment and they haven't even been established as a group yet, I'm worried Takahashi might do a repeat of Suel with these guys.Sieg coming back after being dead for just 1 episode fucking sucks, and I don't care if he's technically "harmless" now, I really dislike the way a villain like him and the heroes just interact so casually now and how the show's just suddenly making him part of the gang in such a hamfisted way. The scene was pretty unfunny as well and I rolled my eyes at the flashback to the forced BBQ scene from the previous episode, the only part I kinda liked was when Baku and Nem made Sieg disappear, but as much as they insist that they don't need him, they obviously will in the future and he'll be hanging around at their base in the meantime. Also, it almost feels like the sole purpose of Sieg's character is just to make thinly veiled Blade references.Zero's scenes were neat, the way he proudly props Baku up is a bit sweet, even if the show can't stop sucking Baku off every single episode. I really hope Zero gets to stay with the heroes and doesn't just end up in CODE's custody again. Minami on the other hand was just there since she's currently affected by Somnia. The fucking irony of Three calling the traitorous shitter that begged them for back up and the biggest vagueposter in the whole show "an excellent Agent" and "too direct". (1/?)
>>23878224This episode was a perfect opportunity to let Nox shine by making him save the day and finally do something noteworthy, but instead he gives Three a free power-up, eats shit and gets brainwashed just so that they can once again lay it on thick that Baku's the only one allowed to be competent and save the day, even if he doesn't have a fucking belt at the moment. I don't like the fact that Nox is gonna spend the lead up to his final form being a brainwashed goon either. Also, I'm a bit surprised that they spent a whole episode without having the Main Rider transform at all.The fight between Three and Nox was pretty cool, I feel like the overall quality of the action in Zeztz would be higher if they just let the other transforming characters fight more often, because Zeztz himself has the most boring fighting style of them all and he's usually stuck fighting Nightmare shitters. They didn't explain how Three somehow managed to absorb Nox's energy to give himself a power-up (and given this staff's track record, they may never will), but I guess it has something to do with Code: Somnia. Also CODE and Three were super incompetent this week: he managed to lure a beltless Baku into CODE's turf, got a brand new power-up and managed brainwash Nox, and yet they still couldn't eliminate him nor stop him from freeing the VIP Commander that they arrested a few episodes ago and the girl that they had just kidnapped 10 minutes ago.I did like the fight with Five at the end, they managed to salvage his character after the previous episode and his noble speech about how he doesn't want the deaths of all the CODE Agents to be in vain reminded me of why I like him so much. The 2D anime shit is still jarring.(2/3)
>>23878226Hate to see Exdream get sidelined right after its debut just like Orderm was despite being the fucking final form. I don't think it's gonna be very prominent in the next 2 episodes either since one will probably highlight the return of the regular Zeztz Driver and the other is Nox's final form debut.I wouldn't blame you for not noticing that the cops were completely absent from this episode, but still, it fucking sucks that Kureha just died while Nasuka gets sidelined the hardest she's ever been because they introduced a plot point that makes the cops somehow even more useless than they were before. I just hope Fujimi actually gets to help Nox break out of his brainwashing next week and that he doesn't get swatted away just so that Baku can take care of the problem all on his own again. Also, Baku once again had to be the emotional support for the Heroine instead of the other way around.(3/3)
>>23878179You're trying to give the writer more credit than he deserves.
>exdream jobs yet againCastrom would have solve everything...
>>23878329Good news, because Zero is rebuilding the Zeztz Driver so that his hafu son can use the Dualmare Capsem again (but only after faffing around as Impact for the first half of the fight). All so that Zero can become Dark Zeztz, for real, later on.
I miss Kureha
>>23878202AAIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE
>>23878047>The scientist wasn't a monster or anything thoughHe was part of Shocker and dressed like a psycho pilgrim, he was not normal.>I don't see how this is morally different from killing "real" criminals. If you don’t see the difference between beating the shit out of criminals but leaving them alive and actual mass murder then I don’t think you have a very good moral compass, and I hope you never are in a position of power on someone else’s life. Seek help.
>>23878371Well, I can say the same for your morals. A hero who just stands while evil happens because it isn't their place to stop it or whatever isn't an hero.
>>23878393Never said heroes should do nothing to stop evil, but there’s a difference between someone stopping them like they should and mass murdering. Insane that you believe that is in any way acceptable. You failed to understand Kamen Rider if you think that.
Zeztz really fell off since Kureha died.
Zeztz is rising back up now that Zero is back in the mission room for now.

>>23877808>What the fuck is stopping Three from joining the gang 5 episodes from now? He’s as heroic as fucking SiegDouble standards, Takahashi's previous show literally had Ace say "hate the sin, never the sinners themselves" to defend Michinaga's mass murdering ass but he still hated the fuck out of the DGP's managers and didn't hesitate to kill them all when he had the chance.
>Jojo>Fate>PersonaWhat will Takahashi steal next for his next series?

>>23878474DGP is personal. Mom > everyone else as he can just wish them back compared to mom.
The question of this week.
>>23878597His own mom told him to let her go, even as she was dying.>DGP is personalMaking exceptions when it personally affects him just makes him an hypocrite, he literally said *we* must *all* forgive the sinners to make the world a happier place, he included himself in that claim. >>23877790I don't understand what rescuing Zero and Minami in the dream world accomplished. Weren't they being held in real life? Or has everyone been asleep since Code: Somnia was activated?
Half the time I don't understand if the zeztz op room is real life or dreamverse or window from one to the other and Nem is there and can be seen, and then there's her mom's garden window, my head hurts...
>>23880067It's dream logic, I don't got to explain shit.
>>23880106Did I miss a bit where Nem woke up in real life and was walking about with no fanfare? Did Project Somnia mix shit up? I thought she was still in between or some shit during and after the whole Sieg ordeal (hence why Sieg was able to hold her hostage). Real life op room was in Baku's closet, was where the police duo always has meetings with him, then Baku could use the magic window to travel to wherever. Then Baku died and rebuilt his belt in his dream, but then Minami could clean up his 10 year ramen mess? Now Baku rescues Minami and Zero (in real life) and took them to back to the room and Nem is there albeit in 2D (2d form because of project somnia changing people's dreams and perceptions)I must have missed something during an ep.
>>23880183No! Nem is still asleep! Everything that happens after he meets back up with her in episode 35 around the 10:37 mark is in a dream! You can tell because he's Seven. The only instance where Baku assumed the role of Seven in "real life" was in episode 23, which also took place in the premonitory dream. EVERY instance where Nem is around ANYONE past episode 24 takes place in a dream, essentially meaning Nem is still comatose this whole time.
>>23880183The bigger question here is what Baku's CODE base even is. I assume it's a doorway into his subconscious that is somehow connected to his room using similar means to La Senora's nightmare window. I don't see any other way Baku's dream mess could collect there in reality.
>>23877808We want the Dan Kuroto audience
>>23878806At the very least, we haven't seen any scenes with the main cast in the real world since Code: Somnia happened. only maybe some of the scenes with 3 and Zero have been in the real world.
>>23880248No, we have. All the moments in 35 where Baku is himself and no one remembers who he is are the real world, along with the scenes for CODE in their base. That's where we see real life Kureha get tanged when Three kills her. Meanwhile, all of the scenes in the episode with Zero are in a dream.
>>23880458Okay...I was saying that, but then we have this scene from 35 that shows the half moon but "white" while Baku is rolling capsems and calling Nasuka. I don't know what to make of it anymore.
>>23880471"Real life" Baku by the way, so that dismantles my entire argument.

>>23880471The weird moon is always there in the Zeztz Room regardless of whether the scene is taking place in the real world or the dream one, there's also another window that shows some massive plains that could not possibly be part of Baku's house. The show hasn't really explained what the Zeztz Room is or how it even works beyond saying that it was created from Baku's subsconscious and showing that the secret lever mechanism to access it disappeared when Baku's Driver got busted, but it seems to be some kind of space in-between reality and dreams that allows people to travel to any place (though it's not clear if you can travel from reality to dreams and viceversa, but presumably not since Baku sometimes struggled because he needed to be asleep to get into action and they made a big deal out of Exdream having this ability) through the window doors that are in front of the Code Zeroider, but it still has separate "real" and "dream" world versions just like any other place so it's not actually the same in each instance.I don't blame you for being confused, it also took me a while to kinda understand how it worked, this show has a really bad habit of not explaining things because they insist on going for a "show don't tell" approach even though they're not very good at it.
