Teo presscon todayhttps://www.youtube.com/live/3ptmKGUUyNE
>>23878982wen
>>23878982what is Z's VA doing there
>>23878982In 32 hours. So, not today.
Started Ultraman Tiga today.Gotta say, I'm already really enjoying it. Feels like '66 Man but with more focus on an ongoing plot.Though something about it looks weird. I'm not sure if it's the lighting or the kind of film they shot it on, but it looks... I dunno, fake? I can't really explain it. It's like it's a soap opera.
>>23879120Oh fuck, I thought it was today
>>23879328day doesn't end as long as you don't sleep
I’m not going to lie, I feel Seven was both the best and worst thing to happen to this series.>Gave Seven an actual personality and inner conflicts>At the same time lost the alien nature that made Ultraman so distinct
>>23879528elaborate on the 2nd part.
>>23879702NTA but making Dan and Seven be the same character from the start made us know more about what Seven thinks and how he acts. While the end of Ultraman implies Hayata was just possessed by Ultraman the entire time, you don't know that for the length of the show. And anytime Ultraman did directly act or speak, he was very mysterious and otherwordly. Think of his evil sounding laugh when he finishes telling Hayata how the Beta Capsule works. There was just a lot less we knew about him and his kind, whereas Seven had him directly falling in love with a human.
>>23879762OGMan was designed to be godlike in that deus ex machina way. He was there to be the wiseman protector of humanity. Ide was the human character that had the most emotion and self-reflection
>>23879229A lot of 90s/early 2000s toku was shot at 60fps. The "soap opera" effect is a real thing.
>>23879991What fps was nexus to mmb, because the fight choreography feels more impactful in those shows compared to today
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LovdE-dplzQ
>>23879229Make way for the cooler successor.
>>23880420Dyna is nowhere near as good as Tiga
>>23880460yet he gets around more
Why was RoU's finale so fucking awful? I just watched it and its just.....terrible.
>>23880535You can see the budget had fallen a lot in the 40s, and after a while it hit the writing side too (like how reducing the number of background members of MAT results in several later episodes writing like the only people manning the entire base were the named cast). The finale is just the unfortunate peak of all that.Suit and fight looks really bad. Written knowing they didn't have budget for extras or even vehicle scenes but still trying to show MAT fighting rather than avoiding calling attention to those elements...
>>23880642I was thinking they'd have a little bit better of a budget since this is the son trying to take over and make this into a franchise. You'd think they'd want to make a big splash. Though ultraman didn't die here so i guess it worked out.
>>23880460Asuka had more personality than Daigo
>>23880642its not just the suits and the fights, even the writing is shit. And this should have been MAT's big moment but once again they're a bunch of incompetants. Its crazy how the franchise went from the SSSP and UG, two of the most competant attack teams in the franchise, to MAT and TAC.
>>23880642even back then they seemed to struggle with a 50 episodes per year show huh
>>23880931Slut.
>>23880945I do like what I see but kinda worrying about the sales... I don't want ultraman to go through another hibernation again.
