>>23887177I remember watching some of this on VHS, does the story finish well? The opening theme is awesome though, and one episode they host a song contest and Ruri delivers a gorgeous piano ballad. The cooking staff form up as the Howmei girls and sing a cool song too.
It's weird searching for art of Ruri too, there's loads of what feels like modern artistic interpretations of the character (perhaps a load of slop), whereas I recall this sort of style more accurate to the era.Anyway, she was my favourite girl.
