While the conflict rages on in space, the Earth finds itself embroiled its own ceaseless war. Striking out from Africa, the remnant armies of Zeon, along with the radicals of the African Liberation Front, hold out against the Titans unfathomable military resources. At the India Newtype Labs, Director Robins monitors the continued outbreaks of violence across the Earth, along with "assets" she had secretly driven into madness with her development of a forced evolution substance to force quadrants of the brain to simulate Newtype abilities.

>Director Robins:...In the end, inferior trash can only benefit so much from my work.

Director Robin's smirks as she listens into the speech being given from Side 5, deeply amused at the degenerating situation in space.

>Director Robins: (Not much longer now. Kamille Bidan...you silly little affront. Had you simply remained obedient, you would have been blessed with the mindless bliss befitting of your kind. At the very least, you gave mankind its future.)

Rubbing her finger over a liquid filled container, Director Robins quietly giggles at the stunted fetus within being probed for its spinal cord fluids.

[Every five turns a random Federation ace will be forcefully converted into a "Newtype" with boosted combat stats and degenerated social stats.]

Meanwhile on an island off the Eastern coast of North America, Chairman Gopp of the Earth Federation government convenes with other survivors of the political purges, readying themselves to align with whatever organization will guarantee their survival, and the preservation of the Earth for their own uses.

My lord.

Unironically Gopp would be a good guy to keep around
>>
>>23888351
Man how many aces do they even have? I'm also going to laugh when random rear admirals are turned into Newtypes and be extremely concerned when Bask is turned into a Newtype do to this.

>>23888368
Recruiting Gopp would be a huge win, there are so many great thing's he'd provide to our cause. He both gives us huge legitimacy points and has a valuable ace who's both a former Chimera Corp member and a Newtype.

>Kamille: Have those two lost it?!

While relieved to learn of both Sarah and Four being alive, these emotions rapidly shift into a boundless anger from Kamille and the remainder of the Alexandria's crew as the propaganda piece being pushed by Side 5's leadership portrays the two young woman in a state of fully rewarded luxury.

>Alexandria Officer 1: They abandoned us for that?! That...that little bitch!
>Alexandria Officer 2: Are they trying to get us all killed?! We barely survived this last attack, and they are pushing Zeon to strike us even harder now?!
>Kamille: Enough!! We will have answers for why did as they have, but now is not the time for us to be...to be-damn them! Damn them both!!

Slapping his hand against a communications console, Kamille grows increasing unhinged as each attempted ping to the Byarlants is met not with a communication failure, but simply being unanswered.

>Anaheim Engineer:...Perhaps now would not be the best time, but we have come with a new weapon for your Mobile Suit. A beam launcher modified to feed off the Zeta Gundam's generator system. We are confident it can reach, if not surpass even the Mega Launcher system. D-did you want us to forward its details to your terminal for later, or rather-
>Kamille: Out!!

While Kamille resumes his attempts to contact Sarah and Four, the Engineers begin to make their way back to the Alexandria's hangar to begin their return to "Olympia". Just as they are about to depart however, they are stopped by a nervous, yet resolute Leila.

>Leila: D-do you need to leave immediately? If not, I have something very important I need made.
>Anaheim Engineer: We only came here to drop off that new weapon. We'll come back out here if we are asked, but not until we get a proper order from-

Leila passes over numerous sheets of paper to the younger Engineer, with him adjusting his glasses as he reads over the proposed design.

>Leila:...I beg you. Please. Um...pretty please?
>>

I don't want to jinx it but we've already had Breniss Ox's cameo, so Tenneth and Lydo from MSV could be the first ones.
>>
>>23888375
>>23888398
at least we know they DON'T have White Dingos and surely someone like Matt Healy went rogue as soon as the purge happened if he isn't already dead

>weaponized liquid autism
Well that'll be interesting to see who gets hit with that.
>>23888368
I dunno man. It's tempting, sure, but connections like that are a double edged sword for after the war. Maybe I'm just paranoid about the rot of the old Federation returning if we let even a single member survive. Maybe it won't even really matter if we establish Earth governments won't have reach beyond Earth, but if we get him in and allow him to network with us, someone may be able to pull strings through him. Maybe not during the war, but after.
>>23888396
Oh shit are we actually getting the Psycho like the anon last thread theorized?
>>
>>23888429
Gopp is like the one federation guy left who was good friends with Revil if John Kowen is also dead(but if he is alive we could use him too), mind you this isn't to say he is always honest, but he himself is pretty much one of the guys who doesn't give a fuck about spacenoid or earthnoid divide, he just wants humanity to prosper which makes him a good enough fit.

You should be more worried about anyone around him besides Ingrid
>>
>>23888396

>Mashymre: How dare they?! First he spits upon the protection our forces selflessly gave to his people, and he has the absolute gall to-
>Illia: Mashymre, stop this! Have not already informed the Queen of our return to the homeland? Their punishment will be decided by the Queen. Now-
>Mashymre: Side 2, Side 5 and even Side 3 have been swindled into surrender and complacent acceptance of their subjugation! I can't contain it any longer!! The only way this will be resolved is through the ancient custom of-
>Illia: Don't you dare say it, Mashymre! We are an army, not-
>Mashymre: A single duel to the death! I will strike down this vile snake, this putrid liar with my blade! When I do-

Illia thrusts her body against Mashymre's, knocking him against his bed as she presses her head against his.

>Illia: You promised to listen to me from now on. Even with the stipulation you added, we will have them judged by Mineva. Do we understand one another?
>Mashymre:...I forget myself. Yes...the Queen is the only one with the right to call on us to defend her honor.
>Illia: Thank you...Mashymre.

Leaning down, Illia pecks a small kiss onto Mashymre's forehead.

>Illia: We are meant to look up to Haman, never to be at her side. Even so, she would want people like us to-
>Mashymre: Ah!

Springing to his feet, Mashymre appears deeply bothered by the affectionate display, causing Illia to become increasingly bothered by his panicked look.

>Illia: Are you that much of a fool, Mashymre?! Neither of us are worthy of her, so start being rational for once!
>Mashymre: I...can not be unfaithful to her! My life exists for-

Storming out from Mashymre's quarters, Illia slaps her face harshly to try and control the shame coursing through her. Looking down to her revealing attire, Illia lowers herself to the ground, closing her eyes and bumping the back of her head against a nearby wall.

>Elle: Hello~!
>>
>>23888443
Ingrid too could be trouble considering she's someone who wants to get out there and fight the real fight while also being someone who's death would fuck us over and lose the support of Gopp. She's not someone we can park in a cushy position or put on PR tour she's going to need to fight and probably will have only fine stats since she's like Sarah's age if not younger right now. She'd probably get along well in a squad run by Four though teaching her the pinch would be terrible and Four would 100% do it if she asked.
>>
>>23888457
Well, how we end up using Ingrid if shes even around(probably is considering the Chimera Corps plot thread) depends on her modded statline really, if shes any good then she could replace Leila's combat role on the Alexandria as it seems Leila is dabbling in MS design now.

I can't remember what stats she had the last time she was around, which I believe was the AEUG run
>>
>>23888461
She did well during it but checking the archives I don't think Copy ever actually showed us her stats, we just saw her portrait during the last Titans run. I'm also expecting her stats to be a bit lower or at least her starting rank since she's like 2-3 years younger here even if she's a child trained for war.
>>
>>23888451

Illia springs back to her senses as she finds the still mentally damaged Elle staring down at her in only a partially buttoned medical gown.

>Illia:...Just go back to your bed. If you won't, i'll have security take you by force. Can you even understand me?
>Elle: I want to be cool like you!
>Illia:...Huh?
>Elle: All the others here are really stuffy and dress all fancy-pants, but you are, like...really, really confident!
>Illia: You ignorant little girl. Are you doing this to mock me?

Elle tilts her head, the innocent smirk on her face never leaving as keeps her eyes fixed on Illia's attire.

>Illia:...I am not some vapid woman that needs to be complemented. I dress this way out of practicality, nothing more.
>Elle: Wow~! Can you show me the rest of your clothes?! I want to be popular with Judau~!
>Illia: Pah! Do yourself a favor and stop caring about what men want. That "Judau" boy is no different from most men who would ignore a womans overt wants.
>Elle:...Neat! Hey, it is kind of cold out here...can I try on some of your clothes?! Something really short and exciting?!
>Illia: Ugh...even if you are suffering from a brain injury, this is just embarrassing. I will...indulge you, just this once.
>Elle: Yay~!

Despite her outward aggression, Illia feels a slight pang of nostalgia over Elle's excitement, with her being reminded of her fanatical obsession and "love" for Haman in her youth. Meanwhile, Kamille is finally able to establish a communication with Side 5's Mayor regarding the propaganda being pushed of Four and Sarah.

>Side 5 Mayor: Young man, let me just say that you have given our people more hope than they have felt since the day Zeon ravaged our homes.
>Kamille: Sarah and Four, now.
>Side 5 Mayor: Ah, of course you would want them both back so soon. Know that we have treated them like royalty for what they did. Considering you sent them here to make an example, you deserve to be rewarded as well, my friend!
>>
>>23888488

>Kamille: Damn it, this was not my decision! Just put me in contact with-
>Side 5 Mayor: Not your decision? You didn't send that war angel and her cute little companion out here to liberate us from the threat of Zeon?
>Kamille: We had every intention to come for your people's safety eventually, but-
>Side 5 Mayor: I am prepared to make you, and your friends, immensely wealthy. My people need to know that you sent them a guardian angel! That we will never again be threatened by Zeon!

Rubbing around his eye patch, Buffalo'O'Billion's hand twitches as he thinks of Four again.

>Side 5 Mayor: For the good of our people, I implore you to make a statement congratulating those two girls on-
>Kamille: That isn't you business!
>Side 5 Mayor: My people need to know that they have someone they can count on! I don't know the full story here, but I have a perfect ending already written for us. Assure my people you sent them a hero, and I will make sure your people are all well taken care of! I never forget a favor.

>What kind of public statement will be made on Four and Sarah's actions?
https://strawpoll.com/PKglebRJeZp
>>
>>23888514
Yeah I'm going to refuse to make any statement. Sarah and Four are some of our best aces and despite their massive fuckup, they ARE our very loyal allies. I'm not going to congratulate them for getting 90% of our forces killed, and I'm not going to pull the nuclear option just yet.
>>
>>23888514
What could be the catch here? I’m all for praising Sarah and Four for their achievement and gaining more legitimacy and troops for the Olympians, but a serious talk with our soldiers is unavoidable.
>>
>>23888514
This mayor is exactly the kind of person who isn't worth negotiating with, we're not going to be used in his anti zeon propaganda
>>
>>23888526
Let Scirocco continue to seethe with cuck rage; we’re going to keep attacking Axis because it’s a strategic necessity, so some anti-zeon propaganda never hurts.
>>
>>23888529
Scirocco will attack regardless, Olympia needs to be better than fueling the spacenoid drama, we need to remain careful of how our other territories view this especially Side 3 and Granada
>>
>>23888525
Agreed. Plus saying that our soldiers were allowed to just wander off and take over an entire side at random wouldn't NOT look good for our legitimacy.
>>
>>23888534
Anon, if what the story itself says is right, the people of Side 3 only care that their colonies remain unharmed and that their tribute stays the same as before, any insult won’t be worse than what they’ve endured already for 8 years, and there’s already a larger Zeon that’s drawing all the hate and from which both Side 3 and 5 have just been liberated.
>>
>>23888558
Anon, Side 3 is quite literally the Republic of Zeon.
They only consider Axis a illegitimate war state
>>???: Marauder of Granada, Butcher of Ayers, Betrayer of the Titans...I know of your titles. You have freed Side 3 from occupation by a foreign army. The citizens of Zum, and its sister Colonies did not willingly submit itself to the forces of AEUG, or the illegitimate war state of Axis. We shall not accept occupation

This does not mean we should go on TV supporting a mayor who's goal is to antagonist Zeon because of the OYW doing Side 5 dirty
>>
Not sure which to vote for?
This is really hard one.
>[Praise Four and Sarah publically to bolster Side 5's public faith and to garner the Mayors favor]: Falsely claim credit for Sarah and Four's deployment, presenting both of them in the best light possible.
Gihren style, may be the best choice, it will help boosts Sarah mood and Jerid already approved of their action but will surely disappoints Leila and the crew of Alexandria. On the plus side, the Olympians will gain the trust of the space colonies since they just liberated Side 3 and pissing off Scirocco.
>[Refuse to make a public statement at all]: Ignore the Mayors request and wait for both girls to contact Kamille.
A neutral choice but the Axis is going to attack Side 5 anyway and it's better to choose others.
>[Publically call out Four and Sarah for disobeying orders]: Make a public statement addressing Sarah and Four's actions as being the cause of heavy losses at Side 2.
A law choice that won't do the Olympians much good and will cause Sarah feels really bad, hope it doesn't turn her into a death seeker, but hopefully it will earns trust of Leila and the crew of Alexandria even more.
>[Leave Sarah and Four unbothered]: Break communications and leave both girls to manage Side 5's affairs going forward.
The worst choice.
As for now, I lean toward punishing Four and Sarah due to Kamile literally orders them to the hold Side 2 and nothing else.
>>
>>23888583
If you're going to punish them then the second choice makes more sense, there's little reason to let the world know your chain of command got broken
>>
>>23888514
Call them out is the only real option. Doing what they did was bad enough, but living in the lap of luxury after overextending and leaving your comrades to fight on their own warrants some dire punishment. This is a military organization, and though we're dealing with autistic newtypes and should allow some degree of autonomy, this is a few bridges too far.
The only question is how public we'd wanna make it. I can hear an argument for not making a statement at all and just handling everything internally, but I think it probably nets us some legitimacy as an actual military to publicly denounce them after the broadcasts. The real problem is what happens to the girls after, being ripped from some of the best treatment they've ever experienced and suddenly being shouldered with all those lives and having to deal with the crew despising your asses. It'll be the cause for some precarious situations later, I'm certain. And that's not even mentioning the two stacks of Dreissens we know are on the way. All of which will still happen if we don't do a statement at all, but maybe it'll take just enough heat off the two and not let them be known as unreliable allies to the rest of our movement. It will however allow Side 5 to fill in the blanks, and I don't think a guy spitting this much venom against Zeon is gonna be hunky-dory with Side 3 regardless of their alignment with us.

>>23888525
The catch is that everyone at Side 2 saw how the girls were getting pampered while they were fighting for their fucking lives. Imagine seeing that and then having your CO who was gone for longer than he'd said came back and not only praised them, but claimed credit.
>>
>>23888575
Isn't that obvious? Their politicians are smart enough to know that those who conjure up the specter of the One-Year War and the Principality is Axis, so they can turn a blind eye to many things as long as Side 3 isn't mentioned directly.

>As these preparations are made, Mike Saotome covertly intercepts pirate communications between the Colonies of Side 3 to determine the public perception of the situation. While many remain distrusting of the Olympian's, along with some outright believing Jerid's previous statements to be a prelude to an all-out occupation, he is surprised to find many other groups shifting their focus onto rebuilding Side 3's infrastructure and economy without the interference of a foreign entity.
>Mike: (This could be Side 3's last real chance to prosper...)

We don't even know what this governor of Side 5 is going on, all we know is that he's a patriot of the federal government. If anything, he's offered us wealth, from which we can invest through substantial tax revenues on our effort.

>>23888593
Now that’s a more interesting point. However, Side 2’s defense was fierce but successful. Despite the casualties, we kept our promise to the general public, and now more people want to join our mission with high spirits.
>>
>>23888583
>Gihren Style
Gihren would have capitalized it from the get-go. We're just coming to terms with the fact that, despite how events unfolded, the outcome was ultimately positive.
>>
>>23888592
I see, thank you for your insight.
>>23888593
Now that I think about call out Four and Sarah, it does feel like a Tomino prelude.
I think I get your point, punish them first and then have them prove themselves in battle, that way, the Olympians will win the confidence of Side 5, the mayor get what he wanted for his people Sarah get to show off to Kamile and Four gonna four, Leila and the crew of Alexandria won't be frustrated and we get to see Scirocco seething.
>>23888607
>Gihren would have capitalized it from the get-go.
That's why he is a genius.
>>
>>23888605
Emotion vs Rationality again.
Cuss 'em out live or take advantage of a windfall of good press. Reminds of the last time Kamille and Sarah communicated over comms.
>>
>>23888619
>>23888637
Isn't Kamille a genius, too? No wonder he gets more out of Sarah without even intending to, while Scirocco can only shed tears.
>>
>>23888593
Expanding on this a little more, this really does just come down to a perception of our organization and the girls rather than something material. (I mean perceptions do lead to the change of the material in the future, but whatever)
Side 5 will likely capitalize on silence and put out more anti-"zeon" propaganda if not stamped out right now, which might stoke tensions with Side 3 depending on the direction (which we can handle) but will more importantly provoke more attacks from Axis, as seen. We probably shouldn't encourage these small governments we're stewarding to act in such ways that will disrupt our movements. We are the protectors, we do the provoking.
The big problem I have here is that it comes with the widespread humiliation of two of our best pilots, who yes, deserve punishment, but I'm worried about the consequences of it being made public to everyone tuning into the news and the two having to live with that. They're already going to have to contend with the remainder of the Alexandria crew hating them for a while, but the thought of also being known widely for doing what they did might fuck with Sarah at least. And that's not even factoring in how we're even gonna punish them. Maybe I'm paranoid and they'll both bounce back fine, or at least the same as if we just handled things quietly. It's worth remembering Scirocco punished Sarah by putting her under Jerid's command and even something like that ate at her quite a bit.
It's unequivocally the right thing to do, but I just wonder how the legitimacy balances out between undercutting and airing out our shoddy hold on our chain of command and the perceived legitimacy achieved by actually holding them to account for misbehavior.
And now that I'm thinking about it, a public denouncement of a 15 year old child soldier might reflect poorly on us? But conversely, that public denouncement might be seen by the Shangri-La kids? I dunno, but it was something that came across my mind as I wrote this.
>>
>>23888637
>>23888650
Correction, I mean when Kamille and Sarah communicated with Scirocco over comms.
>>
Until now, I still can't vote, this is way harder than that time in /m/SV Glemy speech.
>>23888650
>Isn't Kamille a genius, too?
I see this Kamile is a mix of Gihren and Garma, I mean Garma and Gihren both have a blonde girl by their side and respected by his troops.
Are you saying that Kamile and Jerid have indirectly become the new Zabi in a way in this run?
>>23888708
Depending on how Copy X writes, we only can guess until then.
>>
>>23888514
We aren't going to be pushed around by this Doug Dimmadome motherfucker
Get them on the line, NOW.
>>
>>23888721
You’re really causing a lot of confusion and commotion by talking about Axis attacks when our immediate strategy is to halt Axis’s advance toward Earth by striking their rear. Jerid is about to begin a blockade of the asteroid. Whether by besieging them directly or by taking Side 1 and Konpei Island. I think that’s enough pressure to completely throw them off balance, force them to retreat and launch desperate counterattacks against us.
If we were fast enough, we could intercept Scirocco and the Dreissen en route before they arrive.

>>23888721
>I see this Kamile is a mix of Gihren and Garma, I mean Garma and Gihren both have a blonde girl by their side and respected by his troops.
That's where the comparison ends. There's a Zabi on an asteroid, and our mission is to go and overthrow her; the more support we have to do so, the less likely they'll be to repeat the Principality's actions in a future.
I'd say Kamille knows how to bring out the best in others and help them achieve even greater success. We must be fair and not treat them with contempt.
>>
>>23888583

My biggest concern with a public call-out is that Sarah is already mentally compromised by trying to exceed Kamille's expectations and Scirocco is coming to Side 5, regardless of what else happens on the war front. Scirocco will 100% take advantage of Sarah's already diminished mental state, likely pointing out that he alone would appreciate her initiative whereas Kamille would punish her for it.

Never mind that she and Four (Sarah more so) SHOULD be punished for their stunt but it shouldn't be done publicly like this.
>>
>>23888514
Frankly, I'm surprised there isn't an option for Kamille to fly into a fury and zoom to Side Five to grab the girls by their ears.
>>
>>23888514

Refusing to be drawn into Side 5's political affairs in trying to antagonize Axis's forces, Kamille demands for Sarah and Four to be put in contact with him the moment they are available. In the moment the communication ends, Buffaolo'O'Billion makes his own decision in response to Kamille's lack of aid to his own cause. As Sarah finally awakens from her abnormally long slumber, she immediately enters into a defensive panic at her unknown surroundings.

>Sarah: F-Four?! Where are we?! Hello?!

Rushing out from the shower completely naked, Four's expression completely brightens at Sarah returning to a conscious state.

>Four: Sarah~!
>Sarah: H-how long was I-
>Four: You must have been really stressed. It has been about...uh,four days now-
>Sarah: Four days?! H-how-what-what-I-
>Four: There is so much we need to do! The gyms here are amazing! The food they have is just...oh~it is just the best! Since you were asleep, they had to feed you by bottle to keep your strength up-
>Sarah: Who?! Just...Side 5! Are we still at Side 5?!
>Four: Yep. They said since we saved them, we should be rewarded for it. Oh, there is this really cool slide they have where the water pulls you down this big tunnel, and then-

Just as Sarah rolls off from the bed, Four flings forward to catch her from fully impacting the ground.

>Four: Easy now.
>Sarah: Kamille and the others! D-did they send anyone?! If so...I need to be the one to explain myself! I just...I know it was reckless, but-

The Suite's doorbell suddenly dings out, prompting Four to hoist Sarah back into the bed to rest further.

>Four: I've got it!

Wrapping a towel around herself, Four makes her way to the entrance of the Suite to answer whoever has arrived.

>Side 5 Secret Service: Our apologies for the intrusion, ma'am.
>Four: Hey, is there more of those things with the really hard shell and the big claws?! I want Sarah to try them!
>Side 5 Secret Service: I am sure we can arrange for an order of Lobster.
>>
>>23889208

>Four: Great! Did you manage to call our friends yet?
>Side 5 Secret Service: Mayor Billions had actually requested a private audience with you to discuss that.
>Four: Me? Sarah is actually the one who is calling the shots, at least by her "rank".
>Side 5 Secret Service:...As we said, Mayor Billions had requested you personally.
>Four: (Sarah did just wake up, and she hasn't even had any time to enjoy things here. I can take care of this for her...) Can you send that order of food for Sarah then? She needs lots of protein to stay healthy, so please give her lots of helpings of it! She'll absolutely love the gyms, so burning it off won't be a problem!
>Side 5 Secret Service 1: Our pleasure. Uh...my apologies ma'am, but it is rather difficult talking to you like this while you are...undressed.
>Four: Hm? Oh, right! I got it. Just give me a few minutes~!

Practically prancing back into the Suite, Four quickly dresses herself back into her modified body suit, with it suctioning onto her toned figure within seconds.

>Sarah: Where are you going?
>Four: The Mayor said he wanted to talk to me about something.
>Sarah: The Mayor? Then I should-
>Four: I will be back real soon! Seriously, you are going to love those..."Lub-steers" they serve here!
>Sarah: Huh? Wait, Four-

Four quickly departs from the Suite, hoping to give Sarah more time to relax as she attends to her duties. While Four stretches her muscles inside of limousine transporting her, she takes notice of apartments being broken into by armed security forces.

>Side 5 Secret Service: Sorry about all the commotion. Even with Zeon's fleet being pushed out, there are still some who are supporting them.

Sensing the whirlwind of twisted emotions around her, Four grows more guarded. Upon arriving at Mayor Billion's private dwelling, practically a fortress with its fencing and automated security guns, Four is escorted into a grand structure, where Mayor Billions waits for her at its entrance hall.

>Four quickly departs from the Suite, hoping to give Sarah more time to relax as she attends to her duties. While Four stretches her muscles inside of limousine transporting her, she takes notice of apartments being broken into by armed security forces.
This is really who they are, they're just using Axis as a excuse to get rid of whoever they deem undesirable.

>Buffalo: There she is! The Angel of War sent to us in our darkest hour!
>Four: "Angel of War"? My name is Four.
>Buffalo: A truly lovely name! Exotic! You, my magnificent dear, have awoken the spirit of dignity and honor in our people yet again! A spirit that was suppressed for far to long now!
>Four: That was actually up to Sarah. I just came along to fight, and to make sure she didn't go totally crazy out there.
>Buffalo: Sarah? Oh, the cute little girl what was piloting alongside you? Know that we are equally thankful for her contributions, especially at such a young age.
>Four: So...did our friends hear about us? If so, I would like to talk to-

As Four moves closer to the beefy Mayor of Side 5, she feels a repulsion hitting her senses as she begins to step back from him. Slightly covering her nose, Four finds the terrible stench to be oddly bypassing her sense of smell and bombarding her other senses as well.

>Buffalo: I-Is there something bothering you?
>Four: You smell really bad.
>Buffalo:...You are a very blunt woman. We need more people like you. My apologies about that. Must have been the cologne I am using. Just a moment.

While Buffalo leaves temporarily to wash the substance off from his neck and arms, Four considers just what kind of an impact her actions had done for the people of Side 5, and how she had given many of them hope in such desperate times. As Buffalo steps out again, he pats his neck down with a dried towel.

>Buffalo: Is that better for you?
>Four:...Nope. Still really bad.
>Buffalo: Did it seep into my suit? Sorry it is bothering you so much. Come, let get you a proper meal. I'll keep my distance to keep that from bothering you. There is something we need to discuss...

>Jerid: No tricks from them?
>Olympia Officer: The data they brought us is all good quality stuff. Piggish fella leading them could use a beating, but that is your decision to make.
>Jerid: Damn right it is. Make sure their Engineers stay supervised at all times like the rest of Anaheim's people.
>Jerid Loyalist: Boss, we just caught an unmarked shuttle trying to pass our defenses! Thing looks like a real hunk of a junk, and its communications systems are archaic.
>Yazan: Bastards trying to slip under our radar now? Gah! I'll go clean it up!
>Jerid: If they are spies, take them in one piece.
>Yazan: Yeah, "one piece", hehehe...!

The shuttle from Shangri-La is tethered to a supply vessel from Zedan, where its passengers remain in a state of abject terror and confusion from lack of food, sleep and fresh oxygen.

>Beecha: Just act cool. If these dorks get themselves shot, we won't have to worry about them trying to get any refunds from us.
>Mondo: I just want some fresh air!

Breaching into the makeshift shuttle, Yazan's men enter with riot shields, readied for any attacks. As they only find hungry, panicked societal dregs huddled together in fear, they begin to lower their guards slightly.

>Yazan: Nothing but a bunch of scared mice on here. Make yourselves known, before I start filling in the blanks myself!
>Leina: We are from-*cough* Shangri-La! Side 1!
>Yazan: Side 1, huh? Who is command of this shuttle?!

Without even a moment of hesitation, the passengers all point back towards Beecha and Mondo, who both start trying to deflect attention away from themselves.

>Beecha: Y-yeah, this is our shuttle! They all knew the agreement when they boarded, and had they rationed accordingly-

Yazan pushes Leina aside gently with his cane as he swings it against Beecha.

>Yazan: You two sure don't look as hungry.
>Mondo: W-we were piloting the thing! We needed more to-
>Beecha: Shut your mouth, retard!!

Kamille grows increasingly bothered by the lack of a response from Sarah or Four, with the crew of the Alexandria also beginning to feel his mental state crumbling from the anticipation.

>Kamille: (Something else has to be happened to them. Are they being held captive, or-)
>Anaheim Engineer: Mind forwarding us a bonus one of these days, Gundam boy?
>Kamille: Huh? Now isn't the time-
>Anaheim Engineer: Had to make a few compromises, but we got that Gundam Mark II of yours rebuilt how the girl wanted it.
>Kamille: The Mark II?

Having been so heavily focused on recovering Four and Sarah, Kamille had failed to realize a major reconstruction project had begun on the Gundam Mark II to convert it from a standard combat Mobile Suit into a heavily armored, immensely experimental data collection platform.

>Kamille: Who asked for this?
>Anaheim Engineer: Leila, I think he name is? We call it the Gundam "Eye-Spy". She insisted the weapon systems be mostly gutted to make room for the same EWAC systems as those EyeZacks. Personally, I think we did a real stand up job on it.

[Gundam Mark II has been upgraded into the Gundam "Eye-Spy"]
>>
>>23889270
Remember all the shit we had got obliterated by Haman's shadows for daring to take in the Zedan survivors.

If it makes you feel any better though it looks like Axis and the Titans are going to start murdering eachother with prudence soon. Since Axis has developed a lot of new MS and the Titans are gonna start turning named pilots into lobotomized killing machines.
>>
>>23889306
honestly pretty damn cool
>>
>>23889306
Leila carries on the will of our EWAC bros
>>
>>23889306
Leila wants to become a battlefield reporter, eh? And in a Gundam no less. Actually quite interesting, like the ZAKU Hospital in SEED's Destiny Astray novel.
>>
>>23889306
Just as well I suppose if Leila is gonna be taking a back seat to fighting. Feels like a bit of a waste to gut the full armor system to do this, though. I get the idea of having a more durable unit capable of this kind of stuff, but it just feels counter-intuitive. Upgrading the G-Defenser would've made more sense and probably would have made it more agile, which i would assume would have been more beneficial to its role, especially since there was canonically a version that did have a radome. But I trust Leila's judgement, she knows damn well what the Mk-II is capable of.
And I cant help but notice its not black any more, that's a nice touch. The first Black Devil will be missed, but she's earned it.
>>
>>23889348
for what she wants to use it for(likely protecting her EWAC squad) the armored version is probably superior

Arriving in the Alexandria's hangar bay, Kamille finds Leila floating in front of her recently reconstructed Mark II. Feeling Kamille's approach, Leila slowly spins around to face him.

>Leila: I made my decision of how I can still fight on the battlefield.
>Kamille: They said you came up with the design for this. Is that true?
>Leila: They worked really hard to complete it as quickly as they did, and...well, the design is a little different from what I had in mind, but it is just what I need. H-here.

Leila hands over her original design for the revised Gundam Mark II, with numerously cleanly written, yet confusing notes on how she wanted it designed with a more rabbit-like frame, with antenna's attached to the head rather than the makeshift, yet complex sensor pods on its shoulders.

>Kamille:...They were able to make this off of this scribble?
>Leila: Scribble?! SCRIBBLE?!
>Kamille: E-eh?
>Leila: I worked really hard on that, you dumbass! They even said if they had the right facilities, it would have looked much closer to what I had in mind!
>Kamille: The weapon system's were all downgraded though-
>Leila: It has enough power to defend itself, and to help the others. From now on, it will give everyone a better chance at surviving all of this. Oh, let me show something they added themselves!

Leila floats into the cockpit of the Gundam Eye-Spy, activating it partially to show off a cable-like device.

>Leila: If I can make contact with another Mobile Suit directly, it can take power from the generator to recharge more heavily depleted ones!
>Kamille: That armor looks completely welded on. How does it detach?
>Leila: It doesn't.

Having just awoken from her forcefully induced slumber, Ple secretly spies on the hangar of the Alexandria, setting her eyes on the Zeta Gundam.

>Ple: (I'll make you cry this time, Kamille! Just you wait!)

>Jerid: You absolutely sure none of them could be spies from Axis?
>Yazan: Just a gaggle of scared mice, with a couple diseased rats amongst them. First, get rid of the women and children. Ship em off anywhere else to keep them from being our problem. As for the men, either put them to work or chuck em out into space. None of them are worth wasting a loaf of bread on if they don't work for it.
>Jerid: The men viable for service?
>Yazan: A limbless Tard could be turned into a beast with the right conditioning. Run em through some pain, and those who come out of it can be made of some use. None of the women though. They can go cook and get pregnant somewhere out of sight.
>Jerid: We men have the natural advantage, but they can rise to be soldiers as well. I've seen plenty that have done so.
>Yazan: You know what? Go for it. When it comes crashing down on you, the clean up can be yours to take care of.

Just as Jerid prepares to inspect the civilians found aboard the shuttle, a wide spread communication is made from Side 5.

>Jerid Loyalist: Boss, Side 5 is-
>Jerid: They are bound and determined to get themselves into a fight. I'll have a ship sent that way to back them up. Oddly reckless of Kamille to send those two alone to-
>Jerid Loyalist: That blue haired chick is the one on screen right now talking!
>Jerid: What the hell?

Tuning into the transmission, Jerid tilts his head in bafflement at the sight of Four standing in front of a statue of General Revil, with a Federation Flag tied behind her back as a makeshift cape.

>Four: -the evils of the Principality of Zeon will be expunged from every Colony! Should the innocent come to harm from this day forward, an armed intervention will be initiated to punish all of those responsible! Soldiers, manufacturers, profiteers, investors and even advocates found to be guilty of this will be punished without mercy! For General Re..."Reeveel"! For the future he dreamed of! >Kamille: Four!!

Learning of the proclamation being given by Four, Kamille nearly enters into an uncontrolled rage at her display.

>Kamille: Deploy the Alexandria to Side 5!! We are getting to the bottom of this, right now!!
>Alexandria Officer: Sir, please allow me to speak! If we leave now, Side 2 will be left completely naked! We already other fleets are still waiting on the edge of detection range. Fleets that would not hesitate to attack should they learn of our departure. We...we all ask that you not leave us again. If you do, there is no telling what will happen to us.
>Kamille: Goddamn it...! How long until reinforcements will be here?!
>Alexandria Officer: Another two days, at the very least.
>Kamille: (Why would she ever agree to this?! There has to be a...even Sarah was stupid enough to agree to this?!)

While the majority of the crew of the Alexandria are distracted, Ple readies her childish plan to steal the Zeta Gundam. Crawling around in a large container used for storing oranges, Ple waits for her opportunity to take control of the Zeta. Just as she is about to enter into the nearly empty hangar bay, a Security Officer plants his foot onto the back of box, tilting it up to fully expose Ple.

>Alexandria Security:Going somewhere?
>Ple:...No~.
>Alexandria Security: Come on kid, on your feet. I'll let the Colonel know you are getting restless-

Out of logical options, Ple springs up towards the burly soldier, hugging onto him.

>Ple: You caught me~! Ha-ha-ha!
>Alexandria Security: This isn't a place to be playing.
>Ple: I know. I am soooo~sorry, big brother. I just get really, really, reaaaally lonely...
>Alexandria Security: Will you get off me?
>Ple: What are you, some kind of little girl hater?! I bet you think about men at night!
>Alexandria Security: You brat...

did she really try the solid snake box?
>>
>>23889768

>>
>>23889768

Realizing that her plan to disarm the guard with her charm had failed, Ple breaks her hug from the Security Officer, her body floating awkwardly towards the hangar. Taking hold of Ple's leg, the now irritated Officer pulls her away from entering hangar. Flailing in his grip, Ple kicks away his hand as she floats into Leila's side as she makes her way out from the levels elevator.

>Alexandria Security: Hold her! She's trying to stir up trouble!
>Ple: Eeee!

Pressing her foot onto one of the elevators buttons, the doors to it seal before the Security Officer can stop them.

>Leila: Are you already starting trouble?
>Ple: Who the heck are you supposed to...huh?

Ple gives Leila a confused blink, before pressing her nose to Leila's neck to sniff at her.

>Leila: W-what are you doing?
>Ple:...Ah! She sent someone for me!

Hugging onto Leila, Ple affectionately nuzzles her cheek against Leila's.

>Ple: How did you sneak on here so easily? Miss Haman is so clever, so you must have followed her plan, right?!
>Leila: I don't-

Feeling her mind connecting with Ple's, their shared experience of being held in specialized containment pods causes a short panic in Leila as she hugs onto Ple protectively.

>Leila: I...don't want to go back...!
>Ple: Huh? You...Haman sent you, right? You smell just like like me...just like that wonderful bath she used to give me.

[Ple has become confused and has cancelled her attempt to escape. (Zeta pursuit event prevented)]
>>
>>23889834
That... helps?
What a strange benefit to not sending Leila back to Granada...
>>
>>23889864
There's been so much net positives(even on Fa's side of things where she pressed Mike into self reflecting) that the only way you'd regret that choice is if you hyper focused on Fa's state of living over everything else that's happened
>>
>>23889886
Copy likes to reward us picking in character and consistent choices. Telling Leila that hating war is ok is an extremely consistent choice with Kamille's character and handling of Leila after we broke her out of the Psycho Gundam's control so we're being rewarded with fate lining up so that's a great choice.
It's part of what made the Grey AEUG run go to shit as hard as it did. We had a bunch of choices in a row during an extremely important part of the campaign where we steered from the course the campaign and past votes were going (even if some of them were sketchily rigged) into a completely way of handling things like 3 times in a row. We flew headfirst into a battle we weren't even meant to be at to disrupt the plans of our faction's head and ended up creating a worse apocalyptic scenario than what he was trying to do and created a dead man walking situation where Axis could fuck the earth unopposed. Which I'll admit I'm still worried about happening this run since Bask's a fucking idiot and we're nowhere near earth to try and prevent Axis from dropping a colony or asteroid or whatever on earth thankfully they seem to at least care about optics so far so that's not in their playbook (yet).
>>
>>23889914
Grey AEUG was the biggest example of going against our own faction I've seen, poor Blex didn't deserve what happened to him just so we could Larp as Char, but not really.
>>
>>23889834
>Ple having a sense of camaraderie with Leila, likely due to CyberNT stuff going on with latter
I fear that Robins' experiment is actually in line with Haman's desires & those two sides are somehow going to unite against us as a means of "evolution"
>>
>>23889926
>>23889914
Reminder that geniuses thought that if we killed Blex we wouldn't have to fight Char, actually retarded logic because killing Blex would actually just end the run in actual GG
>>
>>23889928
Leila isn't from Robin's NT lab, they couldn't figure out what to do with her, Leila is from Flanagan Institute so whatever they did is likely just the methods Axis adopted
>>
>>23889926
>>23889929
Even then I still hold by if we stuck with Char's plan things would have ended significantly less shit in that timeline than they were. The concept of every single living human (except maybe some the people all the way on Axis) being forcibly awakened Newtypes and the consequences of it would have been very interesting to see play out over the rest of a run, but instead the icecaps just got melted flooding the Earth.

The problem wasn't we killed Blex it was we killed Blex and had Char preaching for a Newtype utopia, refused to investigate him early to try and stop it if we wanted to stop it, only tried to attempt to stop it at the last second after we lost any chance to convince him to back out, and ran head first into a massacre of a battle mentally breaking the backbone of our army turning half of them against us. If we didn't do even just one of these stupid actions things wouldn't have gone nearly as bad for that fucking cursed timeline.
>>
>>23889941
The run was going in a very interesting path up until Blex got killed because of stupidity, we even had Juptier in our pockets, main cast bias led to the most retarded votes in history and I'm glad this is mostly avoided here(e.g Fa votes would win way more often)

>Illia:...They actually fit you rather well.

Having meticulously applied her own personal grooming to Elle, Illia steps back to look at the teenager wearing her spare attire.

>Elle: Can I look at myself yet, Miss Illia?
>Illia: Not just yet. A deep red wouldn't suit you properly...a lighter shade though...

Pressing a pinkish shaded lips stick against Elle's lips, Illia feels a smile creeping onto her face as she looks upon the young woman.

>Illia: You may look at yourself now.

As Elle looks upon herself in the mirror, Illia becomes anxious as she recognizes the shock on Elle's face.

>Illia:...Of course someone like you wouldn't properly understand why I do as I-

Elle gives a small hop to her side as she looks over the frame of her figure. Sticking her bottom out, Elle giggles at the outline of it peeking through the short skirt provided to her.

>Elle: Ahyaha! I feel like such a rebel!
>Illia: It is meant to feel liberating. To live a life of such restricted, conservative dogma is a self-inflicted hell that truly drains the spirit of its luster. I can tell...you were never that sort. To be bound by those who would take away that freedom is...is...

Illia clutches the cross necklace around her neck, with her thoughts returning to her younger days on Axis as part of the lowest rungs of its society. Illia is snapped out of these thoughts as Elle hugs onto her.

>Illia: Y-you-
>Elle: I look like one of those pretty girls in the magazines Judau would hide behind school to look at. He'll want to play with me more now. Thank you very much~!

Just as Elle prepare to prance off to find Judau, Illia pulls her back by the waist of her skirt.

>Illia:...You aren't ready yet. If this about that loud mouthed boy, then...you need more than looks. If you miss your shot, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Do you understand me?

Elle moves onto her knees, looking up expectantly at Illia to instruct her further.

The run had like 3 different very interesting directions it could have gone, and we steered away from all of them. The fact that the run went so far into the shitty that we voted to end the run early because Amuro, the leader of the enemy faction drowned in the fucking ocean still has me look back at that run and chuckle. I'm still convinced that this run and the Ral run's case of Amuro being unhinged and a bit of an idiot is at least partially because Amuro fucking up so hard Copy had to end the campaign early since the plot could not be resolved with AI Amuro fucking up as hard as he had. Having docked at the "Neo Dolos" Mammoth Carrier, the majority of the crew of Mashymre's Endra find themselves enraged by Fours speech, viewing her proclamation a the most egregious insult to the honor of their cause, and to their Queen. Reduced to a water bearing servant as part of his initial punishment for his part in the devastation consuming Shangri-la, Iino feels oddly content with such menial duties, with him receiving more food and medical care than he had as a junker back at his home.

>Iino: Lord Cello? Where is Sir Mashymre?
>Endra Officer 1: He chose to isolate himself to restrict his anger. Completely understandable with the rot this wench is spewing...is that water cold?
>Iino: Sure is~!
>Endra Officer 2: Yeah, let me get a cup of that. Air conditioning on this ship just can't keep up with all these bodies.

Meanwhile in private section of the Endra containing the urns of the fallen, the "Knight of Endra" calls upon the dead to give him guidance.

>Mashymre: For this grave insult, is it not my duty to restore the honor of our great nation?! Give me a sign! If it is not my destiny to challenge this false champion in single combat, then stop me now! Gottn, my friends...speak now, or may your silence grant me consent to do this holy duty!

An intense impact strikes against Mashymre's Endra, causing many of the contained urns to break free from their binds. Sprinting to find the source of the collision, Mashymre stares upon the experimental "Bawoo" that had originally been planned for "Char" prior to the fall of Side 3.

>Mashymre:...I finally understand. My friends...I shall not fail you!

Judau, having been granted partial freedom, moves out from his temporary quarters to find the source of the crash that had cast him from his bed. As he looks upon the Bawoo that had crashed against the Endra, he finds Mashymre floating towards the Mobile Suit.

The botched runs always hurt more because we'll never be able to go back and make things right. If there's ever another attempt at a Grey AEUG, it won't be the same setup. One of the flags that stuck out for me early on, before we nosedived into Char and Haman wankery was snubbing the Africa dudes, which were like, THE guys that would've come to mind when we made the decision to fund insurgencies on Earth, but we were just like "Mm, no. We're not gonna get involved in Africa's politics and kill this dude in Europe (who turned out to also be a Zeon supporter iirc) and grant a big boon to our Earthside operations even temporarily." It ended up nice for smaller characters, though. Even if we ended up killing off half of them to try and stop the destruction of Earth. M'Quve was a standout all around, but my favorite moment was him telling us to spend all our money so AE can't pull our funding.
The Glemy run hurt as well, but it least it was clear from the get that we weren't gonna go all in on the Purus and Cyber Newtypes. Still unfortunate, but at least my hopes weren't built up too tall.
>>
>>23889988
I'll be honest if Copy ever put us continuing from certain key moments in the Grey AEUG run as a choice for a future run those would be some of my top votes, only behind like Part 2 of the Quess fucked the UC timeline run because seeing failed girlboss Quess larping as a Quattro using meta knowledge of the timeline to try and make things slightly less worse would be amazing in my mind.

>Axis technician: D-don't send me back to the mines over this-
>Mashymre: My deepest apologies, friend!

Tossing the dazed Technician out from the Bawoo's cockpit, Mashymre floats inside to take control over the experimental Mobile Suit. Reactivating the Mobile Suit properly, Mashymre gazes runs a quick diagnostic on the Bawoo's systems, his eyes glowing with pure adoration as he compares it against the Gallus-J prototype he had been assigned.

>Mashymre: Amazing...it has five time the power of even the Gallus! With this, I will restore the honor of-

An emergency warning alarm flashes, indicating an inability for the "ζ Psychommu" to synchronize with the current pilot. Ignoring these warnings, Mashymre readies the Bawoo for launch, intent on drawing out Four to a duel to the death. Just as he readies the Bawoo to launch into space, he takes notice of Judau pounding his fist against the head of the Bawoo.

>Judau: You seriously planning on bailing on us?! There is no way I am taking my chances with your people without some backup!
>Mashymre: Another matter has arisen! When I return, I shall-
>Judau: Not good enough!
>Mashymre:...Very well!

Grabbing onto Judau with the Bawoo's hand, Mashymre chucks Judau into the Mobile Suits cockpit alongside him, intent on having the young man join him in his battle to restore Mineva's honor.

>Illia: Mashymre, no! Noooo~!!

Launching into space, Mashymre takes hold of a Shackle being stored on the outside of the Neo Dolos, readying it for travel to Side 5.

>Judau: Hey, I never agreed to whatever the hell this is!
>Mashymre: Rejoice, my friend! You shall also share in the honor of protecting our Queens dignity! When we succeed, we shall return to the homeland as heroes!
>Judau: You are a freaking nutcase!

>Scirocco, Mashymre and Waku Waku Four will all be in the same location
>Kamille will likely join in as well

>>23890072
somebody is going to die, it's just a matter of who.
I just hope it's either scirocco, mashymre, or judau.
>>
>>23890072
Don't forget Judau. We're gonna string up that motherfucking mayor when this fight is over, I swear to god. I'm sorry Side 2, you're gonna have to be on your own again against the Titans if Kamille cannot go it alone. He HAS to be there at the very least to see that the Zeta's Psycommu has survived and have a huge Newtype orgy with the people arriving.
>>
>>23890072
It's gonna be such a goddamn shitshow. I can't wait.
>>
>>23890089
A shitshow that we do, or rather, will have a choice to participate in or not.
Join the 3-way(?) crossfire clusterfuck at side 5 and have side 2 decimated or staying put, defending the latter at the risk of potentially losing Sarah and/or Four. Fucking great.
>>
>>23890092
I wish it was a 3 way fight, unless Scirocco or Mashymre betray one another they're both fighting for Axis, If Scirocco comes with an army or even just the O things are going to get harsh for us fast.
>>
>>23890111
>Axis may now produce the Dreissen. 18 spawn
>Pap: "A chance to demonstrate"
He was forced to work on that so no O yet
>>
>>23890118
You bring up a good point he's going out here to show off the Dreissen, unless Copy makes him a special ace version this might be a good chance to try and shoot down Scirocco the Dreissen only has a 150 limit normally and it's a squad unit so that weakens his influence on the battle further. Shooting him down here could be huge for us long term as it removes the most dangerous anti-Kamille actor from the board before he gains momentum.
>>
>>23889687
Four has been more or less like this from the start. I would really prefer if she didn't do this but it's only a few months since she was trying to punch out a mobile suit, we can't expect her to understand politics.
Sarah is the one who really needs to get her shit together here. How has she not made a call to Kamille yet? What is she doing?
>>
I'm not sure Scirocco is showing up, actually. He's worth more to Axis locked up working on mobile suits. Honestly, it might be better for us if he did come. Pride could throw a wrench in the cooperation between the two, with Scirocco needing to prove his Dreissens and Mashymre's need to duel someone. This thing will be a shitshow regardless. Mashy might still call off the Dreissens, which would be good, but he'd demand to fight Four, which I don't think shakes out in her favor, even if we lend her the Zeta probably. Judau being there also runs the risk of activating that psycommu they got in that Bawoo and him being possessed or something.

>>23890128
To be fair, she just woke up after a couple days long rest and Four ditched her at their room as she went off to film this
>>

Well played.
>>
>>23890153
The question is if they'll get there before two turns, pretty sure that's really what the officer meant for two turns before the new MS are built
>>
>>23889265
I didnt notice before but holy shit we only have three ships?! I know we loat a bunch in Haman's attack, but only having one ship that isnt the Argama or Alexandria is insane. We better be working on getting some replacements made as well as developing the Irish
>>
>>23891685
We don't have the resources for that. Any ship that's not total garbage requires a 5 Digit resource investment just for transportation. Our best bet for a new fleet is unironically Gopp's faction offering us decomissioned OYW era Columbuses, Salamises and Magellens that were mothballed instead of retrofitted he happened to know the location of.
>>
>>23891740

Adding to this, ships are just generally not all that useful enough to warrant actively building past the OYW unless they're really basic. You end up with more mileage by just using the free ones you get via research completion and keeping them alive.
>>
>>23891767
I'll go for bat for the various Pegasus class carrier types. Any ship that can do reentry and fly around the earth's atmosphere is typically pretty useful for that utility alone. There's also the RP side in these runs too where you kind of need a ship nearby as a place for characters to exist.
>>
>>23891767
>>23891740
>>23891685
IMO (very hard play) having a moving supply point that flies is still useful when you need to ferry water units across mountains and deserts, and minovisky spreading is always good. They just tend to have really bad survivability if you aren't playing with a screen strategy or good captains. The big thing is that losing one is *really* bad because of the sheer resource investment lategame.
>>
>>23891799

Yeah. Honestly I think what it'll come down to for us is getting the occasional money surplus and then converting that into resources (Starting from 30k but there's diminishing returns I recall)
>>
Speaking of ships, maybe after getting their shit sorted, Side 3 could, in the interest of keeping their strongest advocate supplied, contribute some Musai they had stashed away from Axis. And then pray Mike-san leaks us the plans for the Endra to do some refits because we are not getting that by rolling the dice.
>>
>>23891740
If we do get some event gibs expect some low level colony defense fleets like GM IIs, Hizacks and Muasis/Salamis offering to join up with us
>>
>>23889265
honestly wondering what other tech we can actually get

I'm gritting my teeth in anticipation for the coming fight...

>Scirocco: Great and infallible Mineva, I must ask you to reconsider this.
>Monique: You would dare to question her decision, "Man from Jupiter"?
>Scirocco: I have not sufficiently proven my loyalty to Neo Zeon's cause. For my contributions on the completion of Dreissen-series, it is only reasonable that I should lead the first completed machine into battle, if only to be the first to be fired upon.
>Mineva:...I have made my decision. You are to continue assisting with the development of the other projects you have been assigned. That is my absolute decree.
>Scirocco:...I have no other choice than to obey, my Queen. My deepest apologies for interfering in your precious schedule.

As Scirocco stands from his knee, he turns to leave, noticing Mirai amongst the other servants being made to tend to Mineva's every need.

>Mineva: How much time do I have before my next judgement, Lady Cadillac?
>Monique: Fifty-three minutes, Queen Mineva.
>Mineva:...I wish to speak with the children of miss Yashima.
>Mirai: My Queen-
>Monique: Speak when you are spoken to! It shall be done, Queen Mineva...

Realizing that despite his success in maneuvering past suffering death or torture at the hands of Axis forces, Scirocco had found himself effectively shackled into Neo Zeon's war machine. Barely keeping his personal feelings in check as Sarah's once adoring expression bubbles to the surface of his psyche, Scirocco's path is blocked by Chara's fanatically loyal guardians, Nee and Lance. Emerging from behind the two men, an eerily tranquil and calm Wong Lee steps forward to face Scirocco.

>Wong: Mistress Soon has demanded an audience with you.
>Scirocco: Unfortunately, I am bound by my oath to follow the decree of our Queen. My current duties are-
>Wong: Your schemes have already been discovered, Paptimus. You may either follow me gracefully, or you may join in the tranquility I was granted. I would advise...the prior.

>Wyme: Sir Cello has gone AWOL! They are reporting he stole an experimental Mobile Suit and is not responding to any of the recall orders!
>Pampa: Sir Mashymre...we must not lose faith in him! He would only do such a thing if it were truly necessary!
>Gaza-D Pilot: Ensign Lida, we have a large asteroid approaching Side 1's airspace! It has boosters attached to it!
>Pampa: Cowards! Those radicals from the Moon must be trying to attack the Colonies with makeshift weapons like that to avoid an actual battle! Intercept and destroy those boosters before any of the Sides can be impacted!
>Beanne:...It is moving far to fast for an asteroid, even with those boosters. If they husked out the interior, it would be practically useless for impacting us.
>Pampa: What are they up to then?
>Neo Dolos Captain: All available Mobile Suits, maintain positions! A heavy Mobile Armor is being deployed to intercept.

Two Gaza-C's ignores the order, with them taking aim for the back of the approaching asteroid.

>Gaza-C pilot 1: I've got a lock on it! Just one clean hit and-gaaaa!!

A sea of gunfire bursts out from the interior of the asteroid, with its exterior popping open to reveal the Argama Kai hidden within.

>Gaza-C Pilot 2: D-do you copy?! Evasive maneuvers!
>Yazan: Hehe! Alright, you ravenous minks! Get out there and maul those rats! Get every last of them!! Oi, Jerid! Make sure to get these runts excited!

>Beanne: Vile cowards!
>Wyme: Beanne, you must stop! We were told to hold our positions-
>Pampa: Any further damage would cause Shangri-la to completely collapse! My friends...we must face them head on!
>Wyme: D-defying an order from a superior could lead to us being exiled to the mines...!
>Pampa: I disagree! Our Queen is benevolent! She is beautiful! She is the radiance that Sir Mashymre strives for us all to achieve! If she sees our resolve in saving lives, we shall return the homeland as heroes! Should we fall...then we shall have the honor of rejoining our brothers in the ceaseless paradise they found themselves in!
>Beanne:...Heh, you should work more on your speeches. It is only a single ship of cowards.
>Pampa: Mobile Suit teams, advance!!! Don't allow them to lay a single defiling finger on our space brethren!!

Charging out from their positions at the collapsing Shangri-la, Pampa's forces close in on the Argama Kai's position, just to find the Mega Launcher waiting for them.

>Jerids: Moths to a flame. Mega Launcher, fire!!

The Mega Launcher's barrel erupts with concentrated energy, its power burning through nearly half of Pampa's forces in an instant.

>Wyme: W-waaah! It burns! It bur-

[Wyme has died]

>Beanne: Wyme!!! Damn!!!
>Pampa: Don't stop! Carry on!!

Charging out ahead of the Nemo squadrons from the Argama Kai, Jerid's Gundam Mark III avoids a barrage of beams from the attacking Gaza-D's, with him ripping the cockpit of Beanne's Gaza-D out from its chest. Staring down Pampa's Zaku III, Jerid smashes Beanne's cockpit in his Gundam Mark III's hand.

>Pampa: Y-you...devil...!
>Jerid: Come on, fatass Zaku. At least make me try with the Mark III!
>Pampa: Earthborn scum!!

Something is deeply wrong with the mines, and I bet it's located near the Operation British ruins of Side 1, 2, and 5. In other words, the corpses of colonies and the Garden of Thorns.

It was a very good idea to tell Mike to fuck off, because if the mines were as anywhere fucked up as what I think Axis is doing, it would have torpedoed us.

>Neo Dolos Captain: Twenty five Mobile Suits were destroyed that quickly?! It isn't even the Black Devil we were warned about though...!
>Big Zam pilot 1: Big Zam is entering into firing range now! What is our primary target?
>Neo Dolos Captain: Avoid damage to the Colonies! If we can destroy their flagship, reinforcements can flank their surviving forces before they can escape!

As the Big Zam turns its full attention onto the Neo Argama, Yazan gives his crotch a firm squeeze as the massive Mobile Armor targeting him.

>Yazan: You feeling it yet?! The heat of battle?! That Reaper could come for you at any moment?!
>Shangri-la Refugee: I-it is aiming right for us!
>Yazan: Damn right it is! All speed ahead! Charge right at it, and prepare for a 180 degree spin as it fires!
>Argama Kai Navigator:...If we pull this off, I want my pick of one of the lasses from Shangri-la.
>Yazan: What are you, a faggot? Stop thinking about women and focus on the excitement of battle!
>Argama Kai Navigator: Aye-aye!

The crew of the Big Zam find themselves intimidated by the undeterred charge of the Argama Kai, with them silently panicking as they prepare to open fire.

>Big Zam pilot 1: S-shoot them! Shoot it now!
>Big Zam pilot 2: Could it have an I-Field on it?! If they bait us into firing-
>Big Zam pilot 1: Just take the shot!!

An immense beam rips out from the Big Zam's beam barrel, with the Argama Kai initiating a rapid spin maneuver to avoid it as the upper deck of the vessel is flayed by the intense heat of the beam.

>Big Zam pilot 1: It...it spun out of the way?!
>Yazan: Mobile Suits, cut off the front of it! That kills the Zam!
>Big Zam pilot 1: B-back! Get back!! All beam guns, fire! Fire!!

Yazan lets out of boisterous howl of laughter as over a dozen Nemo's swarm against the partially depowered Big Zam, with them rapidly ripping the Mobile Armor apart. Meanwhile, Jerid near effortlessly humiliates Pampa, elbowing his damaged Zaku III away.

>Pampa:...When the Vizier finds you, may she grant you the same humiliation you forced upon us, Gundam.
>Jerid: So, you were just another loser after all. Shame...hey, rookies! This one is all yours.

Shooting out the rifle armed hand of Pampa's Zaku III, Jerid leaves him completely disarmed as the less experienced Nemo pilots converge on Pampa's position, stabbing and ripping apart the Zaku III like a troop of enraged apes.

[Pampa has died]

Staring upon the collapsing remains of Shangri-la, Yazan has the beaten Beecha and Mondo brought to the bridge to look upon the dying Colony.

>Yazan: Looks like you rats don't have a warren to run back to now. Either you make yourselves useful, or you can get relocated to what is left of that slagheap.
>Mondo:...I never wanted this-
>Beecha: What more do you want from us?! We are just kids-

Yazan swings his cane against Beecha's crotch, sending the young destroyer of Shangri-la to his knees in pain.

>Yazan: Better man up then.

Trapped in the wreckage of his nearly crushed cockpit, Beanne screams out in despair at the sight of Pampa's Zaku III being reduced to hundreds of torn, mauled pieces. Detecting his life sign, a recovery Oggo moves to save the stranded pilot, retreating to the Neo Dolos with him.

Technically speaking, nothing's really off the table. I imagine we're gonna get around to much of the AEUG tech tree and maybe we pick up a handful of designs to fill in the gaps if we're lucky. Our RNG pulls so far have been pretty good with the Shiki and Nemo, but kinda made moot by us taking the AEUG tech tree anyways and outside of losing the Bardams, we haven't really had any chances narratively of getting schematics for something we wouldn't already have access to.
>>23893108
That's why I added the caveat of also getting the Endra plans so we could upgrade them. They'd probably just be on guard duty or stay FAR behind the front lines to protect themselves
>>23893134
In universe I think that might have been the reason they wanted us to join, or at least Haman's. We sure would've put their suits and even pilots to much better use if they handed 'em over to us. It would have just been an interesting turn, if nothing else.
>>
Yazan's a fucking goated captain, holy shit. Mondo and Beecha absolutely deserve serving under his ass and not only that, he'd 100% sniff out any bullshit those two would cook up.
I will say though, I was a bit worried about Jerid and Yazan's group being the one to conquer Side 1, but then I remembered Shangri-La was literally in pieces. So unless they just let the troops go rape and pillage its remains, I really doubt they could make the situation over there much worse. The worst thing that could reasonably happen is if the Endra is still here and we just kill Iino and Elle.
>>
>>23893187
My biggest worry is that the two idiots are going to end up as his wingmen on the battlefield only to try and shoot him in the back the moment they form a V though that's far off with our 30 total units and zero spare ace suits. If he can just rush them through their total bitches phase and get them to the competent soldier stage as fast as possible that's amazing.
>>
>>23893070
Have they turned Wong into like a Chinese imperial eunuch or something, what is his deal here lmao
>>
>>23893123
The Axis soldiers' fear of the mines is probably inspired by the Core 3 rebellion from canon ZZ. It's nothing supernatural or fantastical, they are just overworked and exploited in those mines (chalk up another point for Tomino probably being left wing)

>No prisoners today, only victory!
If it weren’t for the stupid AI this would bite us in the ass hard. Refusing to give enemy combatants an out just guarantees they’ll fight to the last man and oppose you until their dying breath. Also we lose out on intel.

We have some public goodwill because we’re opposing the guys doing Unlimited Genocide on Earth and those guys claiming to be the successor state to the guys that killed half the human population, but anyone who isn’t sure or has doubts about us certainly wouldn’t want to join up. If I were a random neutral person the Zeeks seem the least likely to kill me at present. It’d be a pain to micromanage enemy morale this way for rp purposes and it can’t really account for the AI being dumb but I wish we’d stop approaching combat encounters as purges.

>I have grown beyond the Earth! Everything that exist, and that shall exist is mine to decide!! If you disagree, then try to kill me!!
This could just be Jerid mouthing off but a little concerning. I think we might end up having to kill him eventually.
>>
>>23893211
Well one of the two is in the brig of Alexandria last I recall so there's a chance to try a reunion. Just kind of side pilots like Christina or Blex that we have not gotten a chance. Kind of makes one wonder if we didn't go with the higher tax but that also helped with current stuff
Overall ended up as neutral it seems but always a question in the back to think on
>>
>>23893228
>I think we might end up having to kill him eventually.

>>
>>23893228
A normal person is gonna prefer the faction so far that hasn’t really done anything to normal people besides kill the guys who are occupying their territory
Also the people of this colony especially believe Axis bombed their fucking colony so they would actually like this
>>
>>23893228
Since when were we expected to give Axis leeway? So far neither Kamille or Jerid has tried to take prisoners of Axis, only Kamille has tried for both Titans and AEUG. Likely because of Ple he'll only do it for children or other puru clones now
>>
>>23893321
We aren’t, it’s just taking no quarter is a dumb approach generally. You guarantee the enemy comes at you with everything they have in all future engagements, it generally looks bad optically, and you lose out on information, resources, or rarely personnel. There are limitations in GG’s simulation that mitigate this but we had an opportunity to capture Pampa and his Zaku III mostly intact and potentially interrogate him and because we’re giving no quarter, we destroyed the mobile suit and killed Pampa after he was already well out of the fight.
>>
>>23893863
I think you’re just mistaking fluff for the fact that pampa failed his end roll thus he dies that’s pretty much why Henken and Ramsus lived and why that one axis pilot made it out of the battle

Yeah, Mashy is not someone you try and get to join you he's a very convicted man who does whatever the hell he wants if he joins you that just happens you didn't plan for it to happen some event outside of your control made him join you. We've never actually tried to recruit him I feel he's just ended up in our army by happenstance.
>>
>>23894339
Trying to recruit him and Chara is what lead to the BRIGHT part of the Bright run actually
>>
>>23894340
And it was the best mistake we ever made, honestly
>>
>>23893228
I kinda get what you mean, but really, when have we ever not fought our enemies to extermination anyways, lawful or not? Attitudes like that only really matter in situations where our opponents have also taken in people we wouldn't want to kill. It's lucky for us that every civilian territory Axis had hold over didn't really like them, so they won't be saying shit about our treatment of them.

And yeah, Jerid could just be peacocking, but he full well knows he's contributing to a project he intends to fight Kamille over one day. He's explicitly stated as such that only he or Kamille can stand at the top. Jerid has a very bullish way of running things, wanting to just ram himself through problems until they buckle, which DOES work, but doesn't do us much favors politically, as demonstrated by his want to occupy Side 3 like it were Van Braun, which might have even worked out, but would've come at a much greater initial cost. A cost that, in my opinion, would not be worth Side 3's total submission when its cooperation can be gained much quicker and easier at the risk of being subverted at a later date, something we should be able to contend with. And that difference in approach is what I think it'll come down to.
It'll be very funny if the entirety of the CCA era is just the Olympia civil war, even more so if Amuro and Char just use the backdrop as an excuse to settle their personal grievances.

While Jerid and Yazan's combined assault on Side 1 nears its conclusion, reinforcements from the Moon finally arrive at Side 2. Comprised of three Guncannon Detectors, three Methuss Kai's and three Rick Dias II's, the arrival of nine brand new Mobile Suits offer the crew of the Alexandria
a short reprieve to truly rest. While the remaining forces of the Alexandria let down their guard slightly, Kamille contemplates how the situation at Side 5 should be handled. Feeling his body beginning to suffer from sleep deprivation, Kamille enters into the Medical Section to request medication to assist in his body being able to fully rest, only to be hailed by the clicking of Ramsus's tongue.

>Ramsus:...Haha! Seriously? Your the so called "Black Devil"? Bwahaha-ow!
>Kamille:...Your the one who tried to attack Four.
>Ramsus: Yeah, guilty as charged. So, how is turning her into a circus clown for all of space to see going so far?
>Kamille: You think that broken arm will keep you safe from getting beat? I never told her to do any of this!
>Ramsus: Ah, so you've lost control over that lunatic then? I bet this ship is far more empty after what we did earlier-

Just as Kamille prepares to swing his fist into Ramsus's cast-protected arm, the Titan raises his functioning hand to Kamille, raising three of his fingers.

>Ramsus: The Titans aren't going to cut it. I'm willing to consider new employment...in return for three conditions.
>Kamille: Why the hell would you even think I would consider anything you have to offer?
>Ramsus: First, I know you got meds that can fix my arm up faster. Get those for me, and fast. Second, I keep the same position I had with the Titans. Third, and most important...if I decide I want to pay "Four" back, nobody interferes.
>Kamille: Is a threat against her?
>Ramsus: Relax, I don't plan to kill her. If anything, I have every intention of seeing her stay alive until I can settle my score.
>Kamille: You...!

>>23894672
Yeah I'd be fine with this if only so we have another body to throw at people, Ramsus is not a threat to Four anyways, one thing that Yazan and (hopefully by extension) his goobers are, is honest.
>>
>>23894664
Not the worst deal unless we really needed that medicine for something else or his rank would allow him to order around literally everyone around him if we leave him alone. Four would gladly accept unless something extremely traumatic happens to her later, which isn't out of the realm of possibility and I don't want him taking advantage to make it worse with what I'll only assume is a rape. She could handily take him again, otherwise.

Ramsus lets out a husky chuckle at Kamille's outward anger.

>Ramsus: Oh, is she part of some kind of harem you got? Worried she might prefer an actual man, compared to a boy?
>Kamille: You are the exact kind of person that convinced us to break off from the Titans.
>Ramsus: Fine, you want some proper "assurances"? Anything I do to her will be something she openly agreed to. Now...how about it? I can tell you need some more bodies right now.
>Kamille:...Why such scorn towards Four?
>Ramsus: Scorn? Nothing like that at all. Personally, Tomboys like her are especially submissive once they've been humbled. Since you haven't done the honors on that yet, its all free land to be claimed. As I said...anything I do to her, she'll have completely agreed to. So, how about it? Fix me up, and I can get back to what I do best.

Kinda tempted to claim Four was molded by him, it’s technically true and I think it would be an amusing choice that steps to Ramsus in a way he probably likes, I also vote to send Alexandria without reinforcements but I’m open to being convinced otherwise, Kamille isn’t going without his ship though, they need him
>>
>>23894696
Yeah thinking about it I think Ramsus who follows the might is right mindset will never respect Kamille if he agrees to this without even a little pushback, Four IS apart of his harem and handing her off like this does make him look weak
>>
>>23894696
I think molded actually makes sense here.

Thinking about it Kamille did end up surrounding himself around newtype girls like how Scirocco did, but where Scirocco molded people into his own tools Kamille gave them a purpose beyond their 'molds', Leila took up reporting, Sarah is living beyond just being Scirocco's toy, Four's martial arts attitude got fulfilled by Kamille's teachings and then there's Ple.

I think Ple actually WAS a decoy, thinking on how much Axis didn't give a fuck about her or Glemy being lost I think the whole Char thing was to bait out Amuro or Casval, and if they actually beat Glemy then Ple was designed to project onto the victor to take the new role of "Char".
>>23889834
>>Ple: How did you sneak on here so easily? Miss Haman is so clever, so you must have followed her plan, right?!
I think these line up
Witnessing a vision of Haman within Ple's thoughts, Kamille finds his head throbbing worse than ever as the memory invades his own thoughts.

>Haman?: (When the day finally comes, Char and you will become as one. When that day comes, show no hesitation. Pour your unrelenting love upon him, and he shall be with you, forever. That is my gift you...)

>Ple: Disappear forever! Return to me, my love!!

>Jerid: So, the "Queen" was hiding in here? Just because you are a kid doesn't mean I am going to take it easy on you-

>Ple: W-who are heck are you?! Not you! You weren't supposed to-

I might even go as far as to say Ple's love for "char" might not have even been hers, she might not even know who Char actually is.
I wonder how she will handle the fact that Haman saw her as nothing but a means to capture who she actually wanted, just a doll playing house until it wasn't needed anymore
>>
>>23894722
The guy comes clicking at us, acting all cocky and says he's gonna fuck one of our girls and she's gonna like it.
He can stay in his cell. Whether we need more aces or not, accepting his offer is the bitchmade course of action.
That said, how would Kamille refuse? I don't think he would be snarky about it rather than just pissed off.
>>
>>23894755
Hence going with the claim choice instead to at least leave the option as a chance later on. Same for bringing ship along so Ram doesn't nonsense
>>
>>23894696
I'd lean towards bringing our entire ship's worth there and just recruiting Ramsus, if I'm wrong then I apologize in advance but again, I don't view him as a threat.
>>
>>23894784
I'd say its not about him being a threat and more Kamille being respected
>>
>>23894702
Sending Kamille alone IS technically an option since Jerid was said to be sending a ship to Side 5 to reinforce the girls. I'm not sure if that's changed since Four appeared on the broadcast and I'm not sure if the ship has a compliment (which it should if Jerid isn't retarded but would still only be original Nemos, maybe IIs at absolute best), so we could gamble on some chaff slowing down the Dreissens and Bawoo while Kamille and one of the girls in the Byarlant does work, which I am not at all confident in, but it's not totally suicidal.
Whether or not to take the Alexandria crew is a tough one, though. While I'm worried about only a stack of our newest units being the only other reinforcing group defending the place, I also don't want to recruit Ramsus and leave him and the Alexandria with the possibility of him outranking everyone there. Plus I feel it's probably important for the Alexandria crew to be at Side 5 for the fight. Maybe Leila can help power the Zeta's cannon and take out a few Dreissens and help get data on the rest as well as the Bawoo.
I'm tempted to tease Ramsus, as I am rather convinced by the idea he'll respect that, but I'm not sure if it'll give Kamille a big head thinking he's some kind of messiah (like Haman wants, seeing as she wants him to awaken more newtypes), not to mention who could possibly hear us like Leila, someone who's at least mildly wary about how Kamille operates.
>>
>>23894696
Really tempted to just send everything to Side 5. I mean we literally know for a fact that a squadron of Dreissens are on their way there, can we afford to hold one arm behind our backs for a hypothetical battle at Side 2 when we have a very real battle at Side 5 imminently?
Besides, if the Titans are serious about taking Side 2 while we're all at Side 5, a few reinforcement Nemos without any aces leading them aren't enough to stop them
>>
>>23894844
>a few reinforcement Nemos
>>23894664
>3 each ofGunDetect, MethusKai & RickDias2s
Don't underestimate the nemo either with the work it just put in at side 1. Like yes Axis seems to be fumbling & the Titans are doing better but at the same time that is of our own fault. We made the Bardam but were unable to secure it so now the thing has become a countersuit.
>>
>>23894847
Note those are all squad units, so that's not a stack of each that's a 3rd of a stack of each or 3 units total not 9. We did not get 9 units we got 3 squads that each count as 1 unit each.
>>
I say we send the Alexandria,
unless its another scripted event the AI will try to match that attack force but all they need to do is waste time while we go to side 5 and come back which they could do well
>>
>>23894944
Also it should be very important to actually have Leila report the truth of the situation, which is that the Side 5 Mayor is taking advantage of the situation entirely
>>
>>23894954
Yes, and then help us film and broadcast his live execution as a warning to all those under our protection to not impede our operations by opportunistically using our troops to make propaganda for you to provoke attacks from our enemies with.
>>
>>23894894

Yeah this is why I voted to just send Kamille. The reinforcements aren't going to hold Side 2 by their lonesome without an ace leading them. Leila with her new upgrade would be great for this. Barring that, send everyone. I'd rather lose Side 2 briefly if it means keeping the new units alive and well with adequate protection from Kamille and Leila.
>>
I wonder if the moon will send even more reinforcements given time?
>>
>>23895706
They better or Side 2 is fucked. 3 squads ain't gonna cut it.
>>
>>23895058
it really depends on if its another scripted encounter or not, but honestly I predict we get more recruits out of this soon
>>
>>23895706
They should just be pumping out the best grunts we can make non-stop basically
>>
Hopefully the hammer doesn't fall too hard on either Side
>>
>>23897504
Perhaps the AI will be pleasantly retarded and only watch Side Two like a hawk.

[Apologies for the delay in the game. Had numerous IRL matters to attend to that had to be done before the next quarterly tax period deadline. Hoping to start back up tomorrow evening.]

[This is not exact a vote question, but would you all prefer enemy capitols be able to be invaded without all of their territory needing to be taken first, or should it be maintained to base game rules?]
>>
>>23898982
Personally I'd prefer base game rules just for a cleaner storyline instead of just bumrushing capitals
>>
>>23898982
Seeing as the AI collapses when they lose their main base I think the narrative needs to suit a special attack like that for it to be valid. We can't blindly charge a base, but we don't need to clean sweep the map either. For example, if Axis still holds shit on earth but we've cleared out and isolated Axis being able to attack it makes sense, but being able to just charge it right now wouldn't.
>>
>>23898982
If there was a way to make the AI understand moving their capital to a new location without it totally going nuts I would say let us attack their capital, if taking the capital without taking everything else totally bricks them I’d say keep the game rules. It is sort of goofy to have to take every single territory to be allowed to finally finish off an enemy, but we are working within the constraints of GG. Do you trust the AI to not eat rocks if you move their capital to a different territory in the case of their original capital falling? From a narrative perspective there would be no reason to not attack the capital if we spearhead our way right next to it and have a good opportunity to strike.
>>
>>23898982
If it wasn't for the perm stat debuffs, that time before to take out the AEUG was getting support
But this feels like a trap for either us getting sniped out or somehow the combined efforts of ALF&Axis are overwhelming Titans
It would be assuming if due to Mashy rushing off he isn't there to defend while Jerid advances
>>
>>23898982
Yeah, even though it'll probably result in some big hammer hitting Jerid's advancing forces, I'd rather that we meet the requirements to invade so that the AI doesn't go crazy now that their base is gone. In the context of a game it doesn't feel good to be stopped with this much momentum, but it feels equally as bad knowing that the AI for some reason left its entire HQ open to invasion. It'd be neat if you managed to reorganize Axis to be operating out of some Earth base like New Yark or something if you had a 100% guarantee that wouldn't make the game nonfunctional, but again, it'd be just weird for them to have abandoned Axis, especially when we're nowhere near an overwhelming force to do it unless it were a genuine plan of some kind. Plus if we take our time it'll let us build up forces, tech and allow plot threads to develop properly instead of rushing through everything.
>>
>>23898982
Base game rules.
>>
>>23898982
Unless you're satisfied either letting the Axis guys run around their remaining territory aimlessly or folding them into the Titans through the labs or something, (both of which I highly doubt you would be) I'm good with following the game rules. Like another anon said it'll probably be good for pacing in terms of construction, tech, and plot development, even if you need to pull something out of your ass to swat away Jerid and Yazan's forces.
Of course, we COULD just cap Axis, let the Axis zeon dudes just run around like headless chickens on Earth, sandwich them between ourselves and the Titans, and then after killing both we go straight into a CCA style rebellion with Axis being annexed and relevant again, but I feel that undermines the effort you might've put into making Axis all weird this run. Really, I just support whichever lets you execute on your ideas in a way you find satisfying as long as it doesn't make the entire game shit itself.
>>
>>23899224

They wouldn't be able to do even that. Once a faction loses its HQ, all units despawn and remaining territories become unoccupied. At most you could spawn them in the remaining faction amd just pretend but it wouldn't have the same feeling and I imagine is tedious to wrangle.

Incidentally, I wonder if it's possible to toggle the AI's aggression levels so that they get more withdrawn. Or spawn the Garden of Thorns territory in a Gryps-era run to give them an extra territory.

Hear me out.

Can we do an OL Haman run, but fights are how drunk you and your co-workers get at parties before you pass out?
>>
>>23899418
To add to this the tech tree would just be bras and leggings.
>>
>>23898982
I’d prefer if the players handled that through voting, and you only had to activate the mission in the game as needed.
Although it seems like this is just a matter of formality for the upcoming events, the other key base besides Axis is Solomon, and after the capture of Side 1, it’s well within our reach, and once that’s sorted, the blockade of Axis will begin.
>>
>>23899796

There's Side 4 too but yeah. The only thing is that I'm unsure of what the game's framework is like now as it was originally a Jamitov Titans base and there were a bunch of other restrictions in place to prevent an early wipeout. The secondary gryps campaigns only required the HQ be the final territory for invasion though so, under those rules, Axis would definitely be on its last legs.
>>
>>23899835
I don't think there's an operation to capture Side 4. I think it only happens in the AEUG campaign.
>>
>>23899875

I thought they all had it but I do forget which colonies the Titans hold initially.

On an unrelated note, I never quite understood the use of the public or jicco until starting a new Axis run. The anti-beam field straight neutralizes so many units for the old Zeon equipment to chew through.
>>
>>23899919
Everything but Side 1 and Solomon is capturable until the Dublin drop.

Kamille's eyes fully lock with Ramsus's, further amusing the smug Titan.

>Ramsus: What, trying to look tough? Got anything else you want to say-
>Kamille: I taught her everything she knows. Sounds she didn't even need to try all that hard with you, so it isn't like we need someone as pitiful as you as an anchor weighing the others down.
>Ramsus:...Ha! Is that your idea of a bluff?! Come on-you'll need to try a little harder than that to-
>Kamille: It would be so easy. She barely had to try with you, didn't she-
>Ramsus: Did you notice my screwed arm over here?!
>Kamille: Oh, so she had to be especially gentle with you? Perhaps you were lucky it was a woman who took you down...I might have accidentally torn it off with how fragile you are.
>Ramsus:...I'll remember that, boy. My advice? Best kill me before I find a way out of here. You'll be wishing you were a woman by the time I-

Kamille rolls his eyes, treating Ramsus as little more than an annoyance as he steps out from the Medical Section!

>Ramsus: Bastard! Your candy ass is nothing! Hear me?! Nothing!!

Keeping out of sight in a nearby corridor, Layla keeps her hand over Ple's mouth to keep her from making a sound as Kamille departs. Freeing herself from Layla's grip, Ple lets out a mischievous giggle.

>Ple: Heehee~! Everyone here really is dumb, huh?

>Buffalo: Magnificent! How long until their forces converge on us?!
>Side 5 Official: Mayor Billions, this is absolutely reckless! At this rate, many of the Colonies will be caught in the crossfire of the fighting! Why are you painting a target onto us?!
>Buffalo: Side 5 will be made truly great! To do that, we must show that we encompass the values that allowed mankind to touch the stars without losing our humanity! Absolute victory against Zeon will solidify our legitimacy as...gweh...!
>Side 5 Official: Mayor Billions?
>Buffalo: M-my...!

Pulling a small container out from his coat, Buffalo huffs onto a small opening near its top, breathing in the hazy substance within.

>Buffalo: Urehhh...! Kill every single rioter! String them up in the streets! Every Zeon...i'll drag those inhuman cretins out from the dark!
>Side 5 Official: Good god sir...!
>Buffalo: Oh...I must have gotten carried away. My apologies...just a moment, would you kindly?

Stepping out from his office, Buffalo signals for his advisor to be executed by his loyal staff.

>Buffalo: Once we've won, I want everyone on that list rounded up and killed! Use...the gas! Hehe...ehehe...just like they did to Island Iffish...haha...!
>Buffalo Loyalist: As you order, Captain. About "Four"...she's becoming restless. The pink haired little girl is also refusing to comply with our requests.
>Buffalo: Get Four back to her Mobile Suit! As for the child, just lace her food with something to keep her nice and quiet until we have won!

Finally be granted access to her Byarlant again, Four casts aside the cape given to her by Side 5's officials as she floats into its cockpit.

>Side 5 Technician: W-wait, Lady Four! We still need to do a full reboot on the control system!
>Four: Everything looks fine in...huh?

As the Byarlant's systems hum to life, Four's blood runs cold at the indication of over three hundred failed communication connections from the Alexandria.

While the war between the insurrectionist "Olympians" and Axis continues, Luna II, a major Space Fortress for the Earth Federation and a reinforced shelter for the Federations nuclear warhead stockpile, remains embroiled in a private war between the hawkish Titans and Federation Forces refusing to allow its nuclear weapons to be utilized. In the midst of this infighting however, multiple fleets from Axis converge on the massive asteroid base.

>Sato: Nine years...I have lived with the shame of failing to claim this place for so long now. Today is the day that our defeat is finally avenged! With this, absolute victory shall belong to Zeon at long last!

Meanwhile onboard the flagship of this offensive, August Guidan arrives assume command over the operation.

>Axis Officer: There have been no attempts from Luna II to contact us. Shall we proceed with the bombardment?
>August: Draw out their forces! We must leave no chances for them to utilize the nuclear weapons within against us!

While August publicly maintains his position as a moderate, he secretly monitors a special infiltration team sent to secure and arm a nuclear warhead to be loaded onto the bases Mass Driver.

>August: (This time, we won't make the mistake of treating the filth on Earth as anything other than the rotten base of the decayed Tree of Life. The people of space just need a reminder of why coexistence is simply not possible. Soon, the "Survival of the Selected" shall finally be made manifest.

[Luna II is now under attack by Axis forces]
>>
>>23900286

Getting to Luna II before Axis did was always going to be a tough sell with the Bardams impeding our every move but it still sucks to see. Can only hope that they bleed for it.

Also seeing how the Axis forces are deployed, this means that both Luna II and Gryps II are entirely surrounded. Unless they start firing the colony laser again, the Titans last real stronghold will be Side 6 and everything on Earth.

To those of the Titans, the battle would be nothing short of a slaughter. To Axis, it had been their long promised day of vengeance. Surrounding Luna II, the massed armada begins to secure every space port of the fortress, readying themselves for an assault on its interior.

>Sato: It was...this simple? Has the Federation truly become this bloated and pathetic in their decadence?
>Side 3 Loyalist: Lieutenant, we finally did it! Luna II is ours!
>Sato: We did...but don't let your guard down yet. Only once we have secured the nuclear arms inside can we consider this battle to be truly won!

Within Luna II, the Federation Commandant in charge of securing and auditing its nuclear arsenal clutches his gut-shot stomach.

>Luna II Commandant: You...can't do this...!
>Axis Radical: Ready the warhead! With this blow, Spacenoids will finally be truly joined hand in hand!
>Luna II Commandant: You...would visit nuclear hellfire onto the Earth...?!
>Axis Radical: Not quite yet. Not until all of Space understands why it it necessary. Position the warhead onto Mass Driver seven!
>Luna II Commandant: Seven...? That one...it isn't facing the Earth...!

Onboard the flagship coordinating the operation, August cracks a satisfied smirk as a conformation of his own plan reaches a private device in his pocket.

>August: (Glory onto the worthy.)
>Axis Officer: Sir, we are detecting the activation of a Mass Driver on the opposite side of Luna II!
>August: Mobilize to intercept! It may be a final act of desperation from their stragglers! (Sieg Zeon, my dear brothers. May Gihren be waiting for you on the other side.)

Looking out towards Side 6, August can't help but chortle at the idea of the glorious future awaiting him. A future built upon the grave of millions, with billions to soon follow.

I think it's honestly incredible that the Olympians are going to end up with incredible PR despite Jerid nearly flying off the handle and it's all because of other colonies either shitting the bed internally or getting obliterated as part of a power play.

Shangri-la collapsed because of three idiot kids, Side 5 is actively gunning down its citizens because the mayor is a Revil fetishist, Side 2's guns down its citizens because the mayor is so self-serving he'll bow to anyone and Side 6 was nuked by Axis which will certainly be blamed on Bask because he openly wanted it anyway. Hell Bask hasn't even USED the Colony Laser yet!

>Alexandria Bridge Officer: Colonel Bidan, we have a signal from the Byarlant! Its Four!
>Kamille: Four?! P-patch it through, now!

As the communication link is established, Four gives an enthusiastic salute to Kamille and the others, unaware of the full situation.

>Four: Sorry it took so long to contact all of you! I know the Mayor told you about what happened, but they were didn't know you were trying to contact me through the-
>Kamille: What the hell is wrong with you, Four?!
>Four: H-huh?
>Kamille: Do you have any idea of how many people died while you were gone?! How many would still be alive if you and Sarah would have followed your orders?! Then you paraded yourself as some kind of prop for Side 5?!
>Four: I-I don't-
>Kamille: "I don't" what?! How was any of this a good idea to you both?!

Four nervously looks around her cockpit, genuinely unnerved by the venomous, raw anger in Kamille's voice.

>Four: He...did the Mayor explain it all wrong? I did exactly what you wanted-
>Kamille: What are you talking about?!
>Four: Sarah-

Four silences herself, unsure of what to say as she slowly pieces together the reality that she had been lied to.

>Kamille: Where is Sarah?! I saw her in that propaganda piece as well, so I know she is-
>Four: Ha...ha-ha-haha~!

Kamille is caught off guard by the forced, wavy laugh being coughed out by Four, her face shifting into a smile, while a deep set stress becomes apparent in her eyes.

>Four: I couldn't help myself! I wanted to fight, and Sarah tried to stop me! I just wouldn't stop and she...nearly lost her life because of me! All because of me!!

The bridge staff of the Alexandria look away, masking their anger towards Four. Despite Four's words however, Kamille immediately detects how forced and unnatural her speech is.

>Kamille:...Four, is that actually what happened? I thought you hated lies more than-

Four cuts off the communication, her mind now thrown into sheer panic.
>>
>>23900387

>Kamille: Reestablish a communication!
>Alexandria Bridge Officer:...Its no good, she isn't respond to it!
>Kamille: Full speed ahead! Track her signal and give me her exact location! That Mayor...he must be the one behind this!
>Alexandria Navigator: Sounds more like she went feral and that Sarah girl nearly got killed trying to keep her alive. You plan to deal with her properly, right-

Kamille lunges from his seat, punching the Navigator out cold in a single precise strike.

>Kamille: When did you start deciding things like that, huh?! Are you people so willing to-
>Alexandria Bridge Officer: Colonel, control yourself! Someone sub in for Malcolmi!
>Kamille: Dammit...!
>Alexandria Bridge Officer:...Sir, incoming hostiles are moving in on Side 5! Multiple fleets!
>Kamille: Why now?!

Meanwhile at the Suite containing Sarah, a group of Mayor Billions private guards find themselves in a standoff with Sarah, the young pilot kneeling over an incapacitated body.

>Sarah: Get away from me!
>Side 5 Security: What did you do to him!?
>Sarah: If you come any closer to me-

Sarah feels a manic sensation approaching, prompting her to duck the ground as the Byarlants head smashes its way into the Suite. Locking onto Sarah, the Byarlant swats by the Mayors forces, using its free claw hand to grab onto Sarah.

>Sarah: Four, is that you?!

Pulling Sarah to the outside, Four hovers her Byarlant to the surface below, where Four had left Sarah's inactive Byarlant. Opening her cockpit, Four looks up to Sarah, giving her a shaky smile over her teary eyes.

>Sarah: What happened?
>Four: I did something very, very bad...I knew that smell was wrong. I knew I was letting something terrible happen, but...

Four sets Sarah onto the inactive Byarlant, with her very gently using the Byarlants claw to pat the top of Sarah's head.

>Four: Kamille is coming for you. When he arrives...let him know I did all of this, alright?
>Sarah: Four, why-

Boosting into the air, Four locks onto a facility being used to herd "malcontents" chosen by the Mayor's emergency order in response to the liberation of Side 5's Colonies. Just as Four prepares to breach the facility to liberate those within, a Colony-wide alarm blares, indicating the approach of the hostile forces the Mayor beckoned to attack.

>Buffalo: She did what?! Wait...no, this is exactly what we need! With the reinforcements that were sent here, Four will be more than a match for anything they send at us! This will be true moment of our-

An open communication is made from outside of Side 5's borders, with a dehydrated Mashymre Cello and a sweat pooled Judau emerging on the screen.

>Mashymre: To the woman calling herself Four, I have come to redeem the honor of our Queen! For your vile lies, I will not allow you to go unpunished! Having said that, I challenge you to face me in single combat! Should you prevail, my life will be yours to take! When I am victorious though, I shall offer you the choice between repentance, or death! Face judgement by our Queen, or fall by my blade! I grant you an hour to make your decision on-
>Judau: Good god man, turn the air conditioning back on!
>Mashymre: It drains power from long range communications! I am nearly finished-
>Judau: Just finish it then!
>Mashymre: You have one hour! Refuse, and I shall be forced to...what?!

Cutting off the transmission, Mashymre is caught by surprise by the multiple vessels and Mobile Suits mobilizing against Side 5.

>Mashymre: Cease! There is no need for our forces to be diverted here! I have this under control-
>Ga-Zowmn Pilot: Mashymre Cello, you are to stand down immediately! Refusal to do so will mark you as a traitor!
>Judau: Oh great...

Arriving at Side 5, the Alexandria immediately detects multiple vessels belong to Axis's forces advancing on Side 5's Colonies.

>Kamille: Is there still nothing from Four or Sarah?!
>Alexandria Bridge Officer: All attempts to reconnect to Four's signal have failed. Sarah's machine isn't even-wait! Her Byarlants signal just went active!

Emerging from the central Colony of Side 5, Sarah's Byarlant establishes a clear signal to the Alexandria.

>Sarah:...Kamille, I-
>Kamille: Already went over it with Four, so now isn't the time! Where is she?!

Meanwhile at the Mayor's estate, Buffalo prepares to inject himself with another dose of the substance he keeps on his person, only to drop his last dose as Four's Byarlant rips away his roof.

>Four: You! You...tricked me!
>Buffalo: T-tricked you?! Why would you ever say such a thing?!
>Four: All of those things you asked me to say...Kamille never wanted any of that, did he?!
>Buffalo: I swear on my life that I did speak with him! Oh, Four...you are meant for so much more than-

Four raises the Byarlants claw, ready to slam it down upon the large framed Politician. As Four readies herself to commit the act though, she stops herself, finding the idea of punishing Buffalo with a Mobile Suit to be horrendously dishonorable.

>Four:...I will tolerate that awful smell of yours, if only to punish you with my bare hands!
>Buffalo: W-wait! Did you not hear the challenge issued to you?!
>Four: Challenge? Is this another lie?!
>Buffalo: It is not a lie! Listen!

Stumbling to his terminal, Buffalo repeats Mashymre's call for single combat to Four.

>Buffalo: Think of all those you inspired! We saved Side 5 from the cancer infesting it! Imagine how many others will rise up to fight, having seen your absolute power!
>Four:...You will not trick me ever again!
>Buffalo: I never once lied to you, dear Four. Embellished, yes...but never lied. Zeon is mankinds enemy. One that will kill us all if they are not stopped!
>>
>>23900438

Tracking the signal of Four's Byarlant, the Alexandria determines it be exiting Side 5's primary Colony. As Kamille attempts another communication to the Mobile Suit however, an open transmission is made from her Byarlant.

>Four: Warrior of Zeon, I accept your challenge of single combat! Since you offered me a choice between "Repentance or death", I ask that when I am victorious that you agree to the same terms! Prove...that Zeon is not completely evil, or die in battle!
>Kamille: Damn it Four! Where is she?!

Having received the conformation of Four's willingness to duel him, Mashymre relays the message to the other forces sent to attack Side 5.

>Mashymre: I understand your orders, but I ask that you place your faith in me.
>Ga-Zowmn Pilot:...We were unable to intercept you before you made contact with the enemy. Once the battle is won, submit without incident. Is that clear?
>Mashymre: Thank you!
>Ga-Zowmn Pilot: Godspeed to you.

[Four and Mashymre's Mobile Suits are moving to engage one another on the far left side of the map. All other hostiles will attack normally]

>Leila: Kamille, did you...encourage her to do this?
>Kamille: Absolutely not! I have no idea where this came from, but I am not leaving her to get killed!
>EWAC Hizack pilot: Easier said than done. Bastards got out outnumbered in every direction. Kid, you can't run off again. Not against these kinds of numbers.
>Kamille: Where is Sarah?! Is she moving to stop Four?
>EWAC Hizack pilot: It looks like she is rallying with a ship sent from the main fleet.
>Kamille: Damn! We are just far to spread out here...!

>>23900466
now that I can make a informed decision we might have to just let it happen, Axis has actual mobile suits this time I don't think we can send anyone off without taking bigger losses, Leila isn't built for this and Sarah is likely to die.
>>
>>23900468
That's what I'm leaning towards as well, Four could beat Mashymre, or at least survive.
>>
>>23900466
I know you're not going to answer me, but we're controling her, aren't we? A player can dominate a Bawoo in a Byarlant matchup if they use the right approach.
>>
>>23900460

She's tried hard, so hard but is doing her best anyway. This is a situation where I think we can truly trust Four to slug it out. I don't recall what Mashymre's stats were but if he's at base, Four can likely take him. The tipping point is probably the Bawoo though since I think it's somewhat better than the Byarlant.
>>
>>23900480
>>23888451
Right here
Mashy's got a lot of room to improve, but right now he's got the lower stats
Hope the bawoo doesn't tip the scales too much
>>
We need to remember Judau is in the Bawoo too. Which might be a benefit in allowing us to get him on the Olympians or have him taking the controls if Mashymallow gets rocked too hard. That said I'm still trusting Four to at least not die.

Have we learned nothing in the 8 years of doing this with Copy X?

>"When I am victorious though, I shall offer you the choice between repentance, or death!"
Makes it seem like Mashy isn't fighting to kill, though I don't know if Copy can control that at all. Let's trust in G Fighter Four
>>

>>23900477 (me)
I haven't cast my vote yet, bud, but don't ask me to leave Side 5.
>>
>>23900484
I don’t bet on her winning just not dying from her end stat, the fuck else do you want me to say? It’s a shitty situation and I can’t see how any of the people rushing forward is gonna make the situation any better.

Also unlike the other duel options both parties are actually autistic about this thing this isn’t like Dozle trying to duel a mobile suit piloted by a guy who wouldnt care
>>
>>23900484

There's exactly one duel I was present for and greatly disagreed with and it was Gundom's Titan Amuro where Amuro, already in a lightly damaged Nu Gundam, dueled Incel Kamille in the Hi-Nu. I voted against it there because the odds on a mechanical level were quite simply not in our favor and while super close, it ended how I expected it (and ultimately it got Amuro cucked out of his own run by Jerid, Monsha and Puru 2).

This duel I'm more confident in on a mechanical level due to being a more even match and it's also narratively satisfying for Four whichever way it goes. Honestly for everyone going on and on about how much they want to recruit Judau or Mashymre somehow, this is literally that chance to potentially do just that or at the least ensure he doesn't end up with Haman. Elle and Lino are lost causes unfortunately but at the least, Judau and his sister might be reunited.
>>
>>23900484
>provides no suggestion of his own
>>
>>23900493 (me)

On another note, while we don't have a full count, the fact that there are 45 units at Luna II while another force is at Side 5 means that Axis is stretched very thin. As thin as we are potentially despite the disparity in numbers. Breaking them here would mean their numbers are continuing to dwindle in space and may push us to a decisive battle over Earth itself.
>>
God, what a fucking mess. Adding additional forces on top of the Bawoo and Dreissen stacks I think tips this over into only being winnable at grave cost, so someone tell me why we should let Four get tied up dueling Mashymre and open the possibility of not only her losing, but Judau wrestling away control of the Bawoo and activating the Psycommu? There's no guarantee that the additional Axis forces will retreat or not try to swoop in to kill a weakened Four if she does win, even. The Ga-Zowmns might be on the level, but who knows with the Dreissen pilots. That's a lot to gamble on Four's life with, especially with all the death flags she's throwing up.
I'm almost tempted to just yank Four back, abandon Side 5 and let it be Axis' problem for a while, as weak as it'd make us look. Big likelihood of no one dying and Judau doesn't even potentially get exposed to the newtype ghosts
Plus just from a character standpoint, I'm really doubtful Kamille would logically allow Four to fight on her own in a situation where his entire reason for being here is stopping her from acting on her own.
If letting her go on her own works out for everybody and fight autism prevails, I'll be more than happy, but it just doesn't seem likely with the wildcards involved. That's why I'll advocate with Kamille boosting ahead to dash this duel nonsense or just grabbing Four and retreating.
>>
>>23900533
You think Kamille can dash across the map, take Four, run from Bawoo, Dreissen and Ga-Zowmns without getting shot down regardless?
>>
>>23900533
They'll be dueling separate from everyone else on the left side of the map that is empty, though I'm not against just abandoning Side 5.

Its possible if everyone keeps formation and if Four wins because Leila will enable Kamille to spam his map which should do wonders here
>>
>>23900549
I actually forgot about Kamille having access to a MAP weapon, so that may even the odds a decent bit
>>
>>23900460
From how stressed out and unstable Four was on her call with Kamille earlier, she just might kill herself (or commit suicide by cop with Mashymre) if she loses this duel due to the shame. Don't count on her surviving just because Mashymre isn't shooting to kill.
Regardless, as Kamille said, we're too spread out here. I think we just have to roll the dice on Four winning that duel, because if we send Kamille or Leila to go pick her up, not only will this fuck up the duel and shame her further, but it also greatly endangers the rest of our forces - Leila has that EWAC Gundam now, remember, so she would be much more suited in the midst of the main battle than off on a sideshow, and Kamille is our main way of beating these high tier grunts with relatively few losses.
>>
>>23900460
I don't like our odds in this duel, even with Four's better stats the Bawoo is a beast compared to the Byarlant beating it in everything. Though at the same time I don't trust any of our help Four options to go well, Kamille is basically required to defeat the enemy and everyone else is more fragile than Four in a suit I'd trust to survive less. I feel like someone's dying here or at least rolling a death save unless we abandon side 5. Mashy's talking about how dare we side with the people of side 5 so abandoning them feels like the safest action to protect Four by showing we don't agree with the scummy mayor of side 5 but that's also going to fuck over Four's mental game by abandoning her, and since we kept Puru for ourselves we're not going to get back Four nicely either.
>>
>>23900636
Well you’d want to pick the abandon side 5 choice

>>23900585
Her surviving is just like anyone else, it’s just based on her end roll not plot for combat interaction
>>
>>23900677
Abandon side 5/rescue four I mean
>>
>>23900680
See that one wouldn't help either since that's not an honorable choice either and would be a good way to piss off Mashy. We're in a real awkward hell here where I don't think I'd be pissed at any result willing but they all suck.
>>
All those years of bad duels yet now it is quite possibly the best choice even if it does turn out bad again.
Possibly lose an ace and major character, possibly empower an enemy side, but also possibly secure everyone else's relative safety.
>>
>>23900987
Who cares about whether Mashymre is pissed off? We are 100% not going to recruit him. He is fully on board with Axis’ program. The only way we’ll ever get him is if Haman and Mineva die, and by that point the game is pretty much over. He can seethe all he wants, years and years of this shit has demonstrated that challenging an opponent to a duel when overmatched technologically and emotionally never ends well. We have like 30 mobile suits and we’re down to like, what, 6 pilots?

Trusting Four’s judgment when her judgment has been horrendous since we left her to her own devices is a patently dumb idea.
>>
Judau is going to end up killing Four.
>>
>>23901130
If he's pissed we're going to need to fight everyone else who invaded side 5 with the Four rescue squad. I was trying to figure out the best way to minimize damage and I feel like its either everyone leaves so Mashy beats Four nonlethally or otherwise calls off the duel, or we protect the shitty side and hope Four passes her End roll, since the only person who could help Four needs to fight off the other forces or we get rolled.

Dueling wouldn't be my first choice but it's the only choice I see where we stand the lose the least if things go poorly, Unlike other Duel siturations there really aren't other options that aren't just "losing progress" and "send a different character to their death"
>>
Expected blowout for trusting Four, looks like retreat won't be an option. Here's hoping Kamille can make use of that HML. It'll be the only way most of these people will be making it back alive. I'm not sure which outcome to root for, though. Four winning could prompt Judau's awakening, which could go anywhere from Judau being repulsed to just taking control and eviscerating Four, but Four losing could lead to her death or capture, which would be less than preferable with this Axis but could lead to something with the Shangri-La kids? But will more than likely simply lead to Four being cut open and having her Cyber NT secrets exposed for Axis to start replicating.
>>
>>23901237
The funniest option would be Four winning and Mashy and Judau just fucking die and Haman's entire plan goes tits up by accident.

Despite the foolish actions taken by Four, Kamille still places his faith in the Cyber Newtype to competently draw away the attention of part of the incoming enemy fleet. Rushing to the hangar to deploy, Kamille motions for the Mega Launcher to be equipped to the Zeta Gundam.

>Kamille: Leila, the power drain on that weapon will be more than the Zeta is used to! If the energy levels on the Zeta starts to collapse, can I trust you to stabilize it?
>Leila: I'll do what I can out there.

As the Alexandria's Mobile Suits step out into open space, they are immediately met with intense fire from an approaching fleet, with a Zanzibar II heading the attack.

>Axis pilot 1: T-the Black Devils! Is that a new model with them?! What is with the size of that gun?!
>Axis pilot 2: Show no fear! They are relying almost completely on keeping us at a distance! Close in and hold them down until they can be surrounded!

Kamille takes point ahead of the Gundam "Eye-Spy" and the EWAC squadron, his Mega Launchers energy output reaching nearly ninety percent power as he takes aim.

>Leila: Have you already taken aim on them? If so...!

The two data collection pods on the sides of the Gundam "Eye-Spy" fire off multiple canisters of compressed Minovsky Particles, effectively blinding the approaching forces moving to attack their position.

>Kamille: Another feature?
>Leila: My camera systems still work even in a dense field of these particles.
>Kamille: Taking aim now! Once I fire, be ready to recharge the Mega Launcher so I can get a second shot off immediately!

While Kamille prepares to take his first shot with the new weapon, Mashymre and Four finally converge on one another above the still abandoned Texas Colony.

>Mashymre:...Pilot, did you choose this place specifically to avoid any collateral damage to the other Colonies? You even came alone to face me...how honorable of you.
>Judau: Hey, I didn't sign up for this!
>Four: What is your name, Zeon pilot?
>Mashymre: I am Mashymre Cello, the Knight of Endra, and defender of Axis! Since I gave you my name and title, am I not owed the same from you?
>Four:...My name is Four. I...reject what I called myself before. I am no Angel of War, only someone who wants to fight.
>Mashymre: I demand your real name! What use is there hiding behind that "Four" title now?!
>Four: That is the only name I have ever known myself as.
>Mashymre:...I can tell you wish to fight, but you lack any true convictions-
>Four: I am fighting for something, just the same as you! I-

Taking notice of Judau, Four snaps herself out of the battle trance she has forced herself into for a moment.
>>
>>23901531

>Four: Is he co-piloting with you, Mashymre?
>Judau: Hell no! I came along to make sure he didn't get himself killed before I could find my sister!
>Four: This single combat was only supposed to be between us, Mashymre Cello!
>Mashymre: I am aware of that!
>Four:...Before we do battle, would you consider landing him on the Colony below us?
>Mashymre:...Very well! Should you attempt to attack me though, know that the world will be made of your underhanded attempt on my life!
>Judau: What, you are just going to leave me on that torn up junk Colony?!
>Mashymre: I will send out a signal to the others to let them know you are there. You won't be abandoned, Judau. I swear on it.

Landing in Texas Colony together, Mashymre and Four both remain anxious to fight one another as they supervise Judau's release from the Bawoo's cramped cockpit.

>Four: Mashymre! What are you actually fighting for?! Even if you are saying it is for Zeon, that isn't true! You have shown yourself to not be evil like the rest of-
>Mashymre: I pity you. You are completely blind to the purity of what the Queen will bring to mankind! What Lady Haman had sacrificed for us to achieve-

Feeling their psyche's melding in that moment of joined passion, the cockpit of the Bawoo partially shifts, with a sealed compartment behind Mashymre's seat opening to reveal a miniaturized Psychommu system pulsing with activity as it detects enough stable Psycho-Waves to activate the "Zeta Psychommu".

>Mashymre: I will...not let anyone shame Haman's dream for humanity!

[Due to Four's Newtype connection, Mashymre has temporarily gained Newtype abilities from the Bawoo's "Zeta Psychommu and her passive influence]

>Kamille: Energy levels for the Mega Launcher are maxed! Firing now!

Unleashing the full power of the specialized Mega Launcher designed for the Zeta, Kamille burns through over twelve Mobile Suits in a single shot, with the surviving hostiles awkwardly breaking off their attack to try and flank his position. Immediately moving to assist, the specialized energy connector system onboard her Gundam "Eye-Spy's" head latches onto the Zeta, fully cooling and stabilizing its generator instantly.

>Kamille: Nice work!
>Leila: They are still coming though...
>Kamille: Not for long! Readying a second now-

Kamille's attention is broken by a warning indication being sent from the squadron fighting alongside Sarah, with them suffering considerably against Axis Zeon's newest model.

>Kamille: Sarah!
>Leila:...Go! EWAC team, follow me! Cover the Alexandria until their formation breaks off!
>Kamille:...Thanks!
>Leila: You should have more than enough energy for another shot without needing to recharge. Just...be back soon. Don't leave us for to long.
>Kamille: I won't. Promise.

Kamille breaks off from the Alexandria squadron, transforming his Zeta into its Waverider form to reinforce Sarah's suffering squadron. As this occurs, the savage duel between Four and Mashymre truly begins...

>Four: (He's not only fast, but he is predicting all of my shots! I hate...fighting from this far away!)
>Mashymre: (If it had been any other Mobile Suit, those beams would have torn me apart! I just need a clean shot...!)

Through a combination of his own piloting abilities and the Bawoo's retrofitted "Zeta Psychommu" reading his desired movements, Mashymre avoids the majority of Four's long range attacks, while his own shots graze and burn through sections of the her Byarlants shoulders and feet.

>Mashymre: This battle is already settled! Stand down and repent already! Is this blind hatred of our cause truly worth throwing away the talent you were blessed with?!
>Four: Don't...underestimate me!!

Boosting towards Mashymre, Four lets out a rabid battle cry as her Byarlants beam saber ignites.

>Mashymre: Fine, a battle of blades it is then! This is how a duel is truly meant to be fought! Sword to sword, passion to passion-

Even with the "Zeta Psycommu's" influence and the Bawoo's absolute advantage, Mashymre finds himself hectically using his Bawoo's saber to defend himself, barely blocking the lightning fast jabs and strikes being delivered by Four.

Having fully honed herself for battle in close combat, Fours full frontal assault completely crushes the momentum of Mashymre's attack, with him being forced to abandon his Bawoo's beam rifle to block with his damaged shield and sparking saber.

>Mashymre: Such speed, and yet the precision of these attacks...!
>Four: Stop blocking and fight back!
>Mashymre: Are you trying to taunt me?! Gah- damn you!

Breaking his defense for a split second, Mashymre's Bawoo suffers a severe blow to its right shoulder, nearly burning away its arm in the process.

>Mashymre: N-not yet!

Aiming his Bawoo's left arm, the wrist mounted rocket launchers fire on the Byarlant, its explosion nearly ripping off the head of Fours Mobile Suit. Not deterred by her visuals being blinded, Four rams her Byarlant back against the Bawoo, pecking its dislodged head against Mashymre's machine.

>Four: I want to keep going. I don't want this to ever stop...if you want to win, then stop holding back! Otherwise, goodbye!!
>Mashymre: I...I won't...!

Clashing his saber against Four's, Mashymre pushes the Bawoo's systems to their fullest to keep from being overwhelmed, only for its arm to begin buckling under the angle of Four's slash. Readying the Byarlants damaged claw, Four prepares to jab it into Mashymre's cockpit.

>Mashymre:...FOR AXIS!!

The Bawoo's beam saber thickens with additional energy, with it pushing Four back enough to avoid the claw of the Byarlant. Charging towards one another, both pilots release a scream of raw desperation as their blades collide against one another's Mobile Suits...
>>
>>23902547

Clutching his throbbing chest, Mashymre feels as if his very heart is on the verge of ripping from his body as the specialized Psychommu aboard the Bawoo shorts out. Recalibrating the Bawoo's nearly broken camera, Mashymre finds the Byarlant split in two, with its severed right side falling into the weak field of gravity being generated by Texas Colony.

>Mashymre:...I won. Why...why does this feel unearned? Ah-Four! Are you still-

An explosion bursts out from the lower frame of Four's Byarlant, sending it into a free fall through the reinforced glass shielding of Texas Colony. Tossing aside the Bawoo's damaged weapons, Mashymre enters into pursuit to confirm the status of Four after their battle.

[Four has been defeated. Status unknown.]
[Mashymre has received +200 bonus EXP]
>>
>>23902552
...Well, at least Four isn't dead yet, but it's still a huge bummer. That psycommu is going to be a fucking pain in the ass depending on how many suits carry it.
>>
>>23902553
Four not dying IS the best case scenario, people didn't really expect her to win.

Also now if he joins the battle late Mashymre won't last long
>>
Yeah, after looking at the stats, Four didn't have a chance since the Bawoo outclassed the Byarlant in every way AND had an added psycommu. I really hope this doesn't lead her down a horrible path though, regardless of whether or not we're able to recover her.
>>
>>23902555
Gotta wonder what will happen to Four now though. Repent (as in probably join Axis or at least end up their captive) or die.
Or maybe she'll end up a rancher on Texas colony.
>>
>>23902562
Well that will probably depend on how the battle turns out, even if Mashymre returned to battle he won't win if he runs straight to Kamille
>>
>>23902562
Judau will probably find her since they did some newtype connection thing before the fight, and from that point onwards it's anyone's guess
For the record though, if Mashy or Judau end up taking Four back to Axis or killing her, I don't care if I like the shit out of those guys, it's gonna be a kill on sight for me
>>
>>23902555
Yeah Four being a decoy after her awful stunt so that the rest of our forces can hopefully win the fight and hold this Side was what I was hoping would be the case.
Still by far not the worst duel we've ever had.
>>
>>23902552
Erm, I don't think Four will survive a crash landing on Texas Colony unless Mashymre helps her out here.
This is a mission kill on the Bawoo at least, both from the actual damage Four dealt and Mashymre throwing his weapons away.
>>
Well on the bright side, at least it seems no lasting damage came from the psycommu.
Also, now that our freebies from the Titans are clearly showing their age, I have to wonder what's in store on the ace unit front and whether or not we actually held back or killed the Zeta line. Because we will be up shit creek without pumping out more Zeta derived MS, only having the Hyaku Shiki Kai, Dijeh SE-R, and ZII to look forward to without some huge gets from the Titans or Axis. Granted we won't have many pilots to stick in even just those if we developed them now, but at least Sarah can get something new to help her survive since the Byarlant clearly won't be cutting it going forward.
>>
>>23902678
I think four survived the death roll it’s just a question of if she rolled a injury or not

Mashymre's love is so pure and so real while Haman is out here being a slut for retarded men. It's so real to how women are. I love it.

In the moment that Sarah detects the loss of Four's I.F.F signal, she enters into a horrified panic, her movements growing increasingly erratic and unrefined as the attacking Dreissen's continue to flank her at every moment.

>Dreissen pilot 1: Incoming Fighter craft approaching!
>Dreissen pilot 2: A fighter? How insulting...slaughter the rest of these renegades! Their rampage ends today!

Kamille avoids the bulk of the Dreissen's beam fire and Tri-Blades, with him transforming the Waverider back into the Zeta Gundam to cover Sarah in her state of panic.

>Kamille: Get a hold of yourself, Sarah! If you don't-
>Sarah: Four...they killed Four!!
>Kamille:...What? That isn't-

Only just realizing that Fours I.F.F had truly vanished, Kamille momentarily is left sluggish as two Dreissen's move to slash at him with their beam halberds.

>Dreissen pilot 3: Ah, the Black Devil! Now this is a kill worthy of the Queens-ACK!

Cutting through the attacking Dreissen with a well placed slash, Kamille readies the next shot of the Mega Launcher, all while giving chase and cutting down anything vaguely resembling an Axis Mobile Suit.

>Olmpian Pilot: Those new Dom's are insane! Its like our rifles are barely even denting them-
>Kamille: GYAAAAH!!

Cutting away one of the Dreissen's hands, Kamille swings its disarmed halberd back against its chest, continuing his psychotic rampage as the guilt of Fours loss consumes him.

Trust Four Bros this isn't going well. We're taking the loses we normally inflict on the enemies here. Billions of Buffalo doesn't have a reserve a mobile suits he can send flying of the colony to help does he bros?

>>23903340
most of those losses seem to be the random Nemos Jerid sent, can't really help that, they're entirely outdated here

Losing himself in his wrathful rampage over the loss of Four, Kamille is unable to stop a squadron of Gaza-C, Gaza-D's and the newest model Ga-Zowmn's from rushing against Leila and the remainder of the Alexandria unit. Fully aware that with their level of fire power they could almost instantly blast through the Alexandria in seconds, Leila fires off the remainder of her Minovsky Dispersal pods, flooding the immediate battlefield in the particles.

>Leila: Don't run away! We have to stay until the Alexandria can get to safer position!
>EWAC Hizack pilot: Go on lass, get outta here! The damned boy ran off on us again-
>Leila: I am not leaving any of you again! We have a duty to ensure everyone knows of how awful these battles are! Just...just follow my lead!

Initially staying to rear line of the attack forces, two of the Ga-Zowmn's stop to look over the frame of the Gundam "Eye-Spy"

>Deune:...There it is! The one that did Danny in!
>Dale: That bastard thought it could hide behind a new paint job and some more armor?! Deune, this is our chance to lay Danny to rest properly! With their death, we'll resurrect the 3-D squadron stronger than ever!
>Deune: Yeah! Let the others get them encircled! Then, it is time for the "2-D" crusher!
>Dale: Get ready, "Black Devil"! Danny will be waiting at the gates of paradise to push back down to hell once we are done with you!! 3-D, Dale!!
>Deune: 3-D, Deune!!
>Dale/Deune: "2-D; Killer Hurricane!!"
>>
>>23903341
It's not that comforting considering that's half our forces and half their forces are even more outdated, being composed of stuff like Gelgoog Marines to Ga-Zowmns and their other half are their top of the line. And all we brought was the Zeta, Eye-Spy, Eye-Zacks, and maybe some more Nemos.
>>23903343
Fuck man, we really should've brought the entire Side 2 garrison. We need to retreat at the first given opportunity, Four's status be damned.
>>
>>23903347
Limping out of here is a terrible idea. We don't have the forces to hold of Axis from continuing to mop us up and Bill's holding a large bag of money for us to plunder once we win. We need to win here while ideally keeping the Alexandria and the PR team alive because if we don't we're just going to death spiral as Axis keeps pushing. This is unironically a victory or death battle.

While Leila manages to keep herself and the remaining EWAC units safe from severe damage, Dale and Deune's specialized attack comes at her with near perfect precision, their every maneuver orchestrated with destructive accuracy as they unleash a brutal barrage on her at near point blank range.

>Leila: A-ah! N-not yet...!
>Dale: Take this!!
>Deune: Danny, this one is for you!!

Just as the duo ready another vicious attack, Leila finishes scanning over their machines, determining their movement patterns as she fires multiple sniper beams into the Gaza squadrons to her rear. Finally forming an opening, Leila narrowly avoid their combined assault, using the opening to fall back for the Alexandria.

>Dale: It dodged the 2-D maneuver?!
>Deune: Damn it all! The 2-D attack is nearly unstoppable, but it can't compared to the 3-D maneuver! Danny...!
>Dale: Chase it down! They won't escape today!! This Devil dies by our hands!

Leila escapes from her field of Minovsky Particles, using the confusion to call for the Alexandria to pull away from its current position to avoid being hunted down. Crashing the Gundam "Eye Spy" onto the Alexandria's hull, Leila cries out for its supply team to rearm her immediately.

>Ple: (Why is she still putting up this act? We could go back to Haman right now! Do those idiots out there not know she is serving her?)

Shielding Sarah's heavily damaged Byarlant, Kamille takes the near full brunt of Axis's attack as he readies his Mega Launcher to fire.

>Sarah: K-Kamille!!
>Kamille: Damn you all to hell!!

Unleashing the fully charged blast, the Mega Launcher nearly overheats from its overtaxing of the Zeta's generator. Despite this however, the immense blast burns through over twelve Dreissens, with the remaining machines scrambling to fall back for repairs.

Trailing Four's Byarlant to its crash site, Mashymare lands his heavily damaged Bawoo by the now still and inactive wreckage of Fours machine.

>Mashymre:...If this a ploy to have me lower my guard, you would be tossing aside your honor in doing so! If you are still conscious, give me a sign!

Bringing the Bawoo into a kneeling stance, Mashymre lowers himself down to the warped chest of the Byarlant. Slowly approaching, Mashymre feels a cold shiver running down his back as he finds a clear sign of a cavity in the Byarlants cockpit hatch. Genuinely concerned that Four's life had been claimed from an oxygen leak, Mashymre grabs for the opening, putting all of his strength into trying to peel it back to reach the pilot inside. Not feeling it budge, Mashymre punches at the metal in frustration, only to stumble back as the Bawoo's nearly broken Psychommu responds to his emotions as it yanks away the remaining metal keeping him from Four. Looking back to the damaged Mobile Suit, Mahsymre gives a small nod to it.

>Mashymre:...Glad I could spare you from being debased by Char, Bawoo. Pilot, I am coming in!

Entering into Four's cockpit, Mashymre finds her body to be completely motionless. Planting himself atop her, Mashymre moves his finger against Four's neck, checking for a pulse.

>Mashymre: (I had the clear advantage. Had it been any other machine, you would have won...so live! Live long enough for me to prove the legitimacy of our cause! If you survive, I will fight you without such an unfair advantage! So just-)

Feeling Four's pulse as he deepens the pressure of his finger on her neck, Mashymre can't help but let out a giddy caw.

>Mashymre: Ha! You are alive! If you had died in such a way, this victory would have felt completely hollow-

Delirious from the thin oxygen of Texas Colony and the impact, Four's body acts completely on instinct as she wraps her legs onto Mashymre's back, her eyes misty as trickles of tears run down her cheeks.
>>
>>23903374
At least she didn't fail her roll
>>
>>23903374

>Mashymre: C-contain yourself! W-w-whatever kind of trick this is, you w-will not escape what was promised! You will be taken back to Axis to answer for your terrible words...a-and when Queen Mineva has determined you to be misguided, I will be there to put you on a path worthy of your talents and-

Barely lucid, Four moves her hands to Mashymre's neck, adjusting her fingers slowly in a perfectly trained set of positions on his nerves.

>Mashymre:...Four? Can you even hear me? Are you-
>Four: I love you...Ka-

Pulling Mashymre against her face, Four forces her lips against his, her broken thoughts dwelling on Kamille as she pours not only her affection, but her very essence onto the Axis ace. The exotic sensation striking Mashymre's body is vastly accelerated by by the nerves being held, with his perception of the world around him being altered from Four's psychic connection permanently melding with his own deepest thoughts and desires. Meanwhile, Judau scrambles to find a way to escape Texas Colony, believing Mashymre to have been killed in battle.

>Judau: (She has to still be back on Shangri-La! I am not going to get strung along for some insane-)

Nearly landing atop Judau, the Bawoo slumps down to take hold of him.

>Judau: Mashymre?! You survived?! What the hell happened to-

Mashymre appears pale and drained, his usual vigor sucked away from him as he silently controls the Bawoo's hand to allow Judau to reenter the cockpit.

>Judau:...You won then, yeah? Uh...we splitting the credit for that? Like you said before? Oh, you...ditched that cape-thing you usually wear?
>Mashymre:...Huh?
>Judau: Seriously, what in the hell happened to you out there?

Departing from Texas Colony with Judau, Mashymre's mind remains in a state of near perpetual confusion as the Bawoo's malfunctioning Psychommu subtly reads his inputs, guiding the Bawoo out from Texas Colony. Within the Byarlant, Four quietly rests as Mashymre's abandoned cape covers her torn body suit.

Bunkered and fortified, the Titans forces at Side 6 prepare their fleets to mobilize for an interception of Axis forces, desperate to prevent the capture of Luna II's nuclear arsenal. Unbeknownst to them however, their worst fear is realized as Colony "Libot" is struck by nuclear force...

[30% of Titan forces at Side 6 have been destroyed. Side 6's money value reduced from 800 to 600]

As the false flag squadron deployed into Luna II reports their success, they are struck down by other Axis forces sent by August Guidan to cover up his involvement in the attack.

>August: What barbarism...finish securing Luna II! Send an offer of our support to Side 6! Let them know the Queen's humanitarian aid is but a single word away! (They won't accept. The animals there will rip one another apart, and the cowards who refused to kneel before Zeon will finally receive their just deserts.)

[Luna II has fallen to Axis. Axis has begun development on the "Nuku-Zaku".

>>23903651
That's a real concern mind melds always effect both parties, if we recover Four and she starts talking about honor and the nobility of Axis we do need to be careful. Beyond that we will just need to be careful when handling Mashymre since Four will probably take some feedback whenever he's hurt and vice versa.

Even with their losses, Axis's numbers still vastly outnumber the Olympian's forces at Side 5 in every way. Reorganizing their remaining forces into a single focused attack formation, the invading fleet plunges itself against Kamille, Sarah and the reinforcements sent from Jerid. Finding the Mega Launcher to be burning through his energy reserves without Leila to assist him, Kamille tosses aside the massive beam weapon, opting the increased freedom of movement without it.

>EWAC Hizack pilot: Oi, Kamille! Take this!

Chucking the Zeta's beam rifle back to its rightful machine, the damaged EWAC Hizack falls back for repairs as Kamille rearms himself. Even in his rage induced state, the removal of the Mega Launcher allows him to fight without any further restriction as he wildly carves his way through Axis's assault formation.

>Axis Commander: I-its a monster! Where is Mashymre?!
>Ga-Zowmn Pilot: He's leaving the battlefield!
>Axis Commander: Now?! We are so close to victory! Cello, return!! If you run now-

Crashing through the bridge of the Zanzibar II leading part of Axis's formation, Kamille rips through the vessel, using its wreckage as cover to gun down any other Mobile Suits around him.

>Kamille: (Four...why did you have to...to...) Raaaah!!!

Four is going to fight people for Kamille's honor and Mashy is going to be cucked by Kamille like he was by Char.

>Dale: I-impossible! This battle was already won...so how in the hell are they pushing the others back?!
>Deune: This is disgraceful! How will we restore the glory of the 3-D unit if we can't even destroy a single Mobile Suit?! That other black Gundam is nothing short of a devil...!
>Dale:...A devil that has its back turned! I hate resorting to a sneak attack, but destroying that Machine will secure our victory! All we need is a single well placed 2-D attack, and it is done for!
>Deune:...Lets do it!

While Leila continues to fend off stragglers attempting to fire on the Alexandria, she detects Dale and Deune's Mobile Suits moving to strike Kamille and the others from their rear.

>Leila: Kamille, behind you!!

Having already detected the approaching hostility of the surviving 3-D members, Kamille tosses aside his beam rifle, charging the Zeta against Dale and Deune's Ga-Zowmn's in a double lariat. As Dale and Deune scream in panic, both of them eject from their doomed machines just as they are about to be slammed about the wreckage of the Zanzibar II.

>Axis Commander: Ghk...!! Charge ahead!! Kill them all!! Destroy the Colony if necessary!!

While the Olympian's narrowly secure their victory against Axis at the cost of many of their own forces and the actions of Kamille and Leila, the divide still embroiling Side 5 in chaos reaches its peak. In the midst of the battle, a faction of anti-Federation insurgents launch an attack on the internment facility containing thousands of malcontents herded and detained by Mayor Billions decree. Learning of this disaster, along with also detecting the loss of Four's I.F.F signal at Texas Colony, Buffalo calls for the complete liquidation of the malcontents, along with granting his Security Forces total freedom to open fire on anyone suspected of being "Zeonic" in nature. Feeling his rationality melting away, Buffalo swats aside the contents of his desk, scrambling for a nearly empty canister of an unknown substance.

>Buffalo: Zeon bastards...! They stole it all from me again...!!

Tossing aside the depleted container, Buffalo grabs for a photo in his desk of a younger, healthier version of himself, with a light blue haired woman leaning into him in it. Meanwhile above Side 5's primary Colony, Kamille frantically attempts to isolate the last pinged position of Four's Byarlant, only to be hailed by a cloaked communication signal from the Colony below.

>Lunarian Operative: Commander of the Black Devils, hear us now. We know of your occupation over Granada, along with your decision to grant mercy onto Side 3's government. We know not of why your forces chose to act as they did, but we ask that you aid us in removing the current administration from power! Any checks and balances that were put in place to keep Billions from acting as he did were eliminated in the chaos of Axis's original retreat, so we've been all but powerless until now!
>Kamille: Ngh...!! This isn't the time!
>Lunarian Operative: The people here are being murdered! If you don't act, untold hundreds, if not thousands will have their lives stolen from them by that madman!

Maneuvering her Gundam "Eye-Spy" next to the damaged, depleted Zeta, Leila initiates a limit range communication with Kamille.

>Leila: What happened to Four? I tried finding her signal, but-
>Kamille: I don't know...damn it all, I don't know! Her signal just vanished above that tattered Colony! I...I can't just leave her-
>Lunarian Operative: Local Militia's are rioting as well! Its a bloodbath down here!
>Leila: Why are they all fighting one another? The battle is supposed to be over-
>Kamille: I can't just leave Four! I-

Sarah's Byarlant places its claw against the Zeta, its comms also being limited to Kamille's.

>Sarah:...I'll correct Fours mistake. I promise.
>Kamille:...You have the gall to say that?

Breaking off from Kamille and Leila, Sarah's Byarlant maneuvers to breach Side 5.

>Kamille: Sarah, get back here! Sarah!!
>Leila: If she crashed by that ruined Colony, my Mobile Suits detection systems have the best chance of finding her. Whatever Sarah is planning, she isn't in the right state of mind.

Just as Kamille prepares to speak, he feels Sarah's internal desires flowing onto him, with her intentions being laid out to him clearly. Consumed by the immense guilt of having convinced Four to follow her into a crusade of senseless battles, Sarah intends to strike down the Mayor, and to eradicate anyone that would stand against Kamille.

>How will Kamille handle the situation at Side 5?
https://strawpoll.com/e6Z2AEkoXgN
>>
>>23904529
I think Leila is the better search party, Kamille needs to make sure Sarah doesn't fuck things up again(by removing Buffalo personally), but I'm open to discussion
>>
>>23904529
I'm heavily leaning towards having Leila search for Four and joining Sarah in killing the fat fuck. It seems like a no brainer to me.
>>
>>23904542
I second this
>>
>>23904529
I'd like to note that it is not stated that Kamille will do away with Buffalo's government or not in the first option, which makes me wary of it.
It almost sounds like Kamille will have his hands so full dealing with Sarah that he won't be able to do anything about Side Five.
>>
>>23904565
Thats why 2 exists, 1 is the peaceful option
>>
The only reservation I have about sending Leila off alone is the possibility of her getting ambushed, but like I said, assuring the execution of the Mayor goes smoothly is more important than the safety of one of our pilots in the grand scheme of things. Two is where it gets more dicey
>>
>>23904529
So we have no option to abandon Four that worries me, that worries me a lot. That makes me think at least 1 of the routes to attempting to find Four will fail and have her die still.
>[Stop Sarah from interfering at Side 5]
Fuck no, if we're worried about any concerns form killing the fact corrupt fuck our best bet is to just not be there while Sarah kills him and give her a public slap on the wrist with a private kiss on the cheek afterwards.
>[Support Sarah in removing Side 5's current leadership]
This is Kamille actively taking a side and prevents us from putting out a PR statement later, probably deepens our bond for Sarah more and lets us avoid Sarah doing anything stupid if we're really worried.
Both of these trust Leila and the PR team to find Four, I doubt Leila has enough of a newtype sense to find Four off of that alone and the Texas colony is big too so it might be a bit of a crap shoot if they find her on their own.
>[Join Leila in searching for Four]
The safest option IMO means Four will be found and saved biggest worry is Sarah doing something stupid if she's taking revenge on her own like getting out of her mobile suit when no one else has a mobile suit or being assumed to be working for Buffalo since she's in a Byarlant and this causing her to kill indiscriminately, stuff like this can be solved by properly using the PR team after all.
>[Have Leila deploy to Side 5 while Kamille searches for Four
Riskiest option with the biggest payoff, puts Four in the most danger and has the biggest chance to fuck over our PR if Sarah does something stupid but if both sides turn out well we've got great PR footage and suffered no problems from it.
>>
>>23904569
>, I doubt Leila has enough of a newtype sense to
I mean Leila, Kamille and Four all connected on a deep level, if its anything to be worried about is rather the state of Four herself if the mursame ghosts are back
>>
>>23904581
I'm more worried about Mashy than I am about Four honestly, she nearly sucked the soul out of him both literally and figuratively
Seriously though, I'm a little more worried about how Leila might react when she sees Four since it seems she still doubts Kamille a little in regards to how we handled Four after mouthing off to Ramsus. She might try to hold us accountable for this, but I also feel like she has at least moved on from pointing fingers at us for doing the least worst possible thing at all times.
>>
>>23904581
That's fair copy did call out the Bawoo as having a zeta type sensor so the ghosts might very well be in there.
>>
>>23904569
I actually think all choices will lead to Four being found, it is rather how Side 5 gets handled is what the big change will be.
First is pacifist
Second is aggression but Kamile picks his targets
third leaves Kamille out of the situation and let Sarah choose, which could be good but
>Sarah intends to strike down the Mayor, and to eradicate anyone that would stand against Kamille.
Might mean she'll also target the Lunarians who asked for his help to begin with
Fourth is leaving Kamille out of the situation but allowing Leila take charge of the Side 5 mission(will possibly clash with Sarah, who leans two while Leila certanily will lean one)
>>
Voting 2 myself, as others said, Leila's got the best way to find her, Sarah needs us.
