The Raphael Gundam looks so rushed, and I mean IRL and not in-universe. The concept is really cool: Tieria used big, fat Gundams with smaller Gundams hidden within, and they wanted to reverse that by now giving him a small Gundam that somehow hid a large unit. And then have that new Gundam be a derivative of the former Innovade MS to show that part of Tieria's "heritage" and make it a slapdash machine using scavenged parts to show that it was made quickly and without much investment capital. All of that is great. But it could have been so cool. Instead it really feels like an afterthought after the IRL designers just couldn't come up with a nifty way to show "large Gundam hiding in small Gundam" and sketched it out and turned it in five minutes before it was due and the executives couldn't reject this stupid thing and order a redo.

Weren't all of the Gundams other than the 00 Quanta in-universe rush jobs? Like the Zabanya and Harute were built on the frames of the Cherudim and Arios and the Raphael was slapped together with limited resources?
