What would happen if Gihren overslept the day Degwin opened negotiations with Revil?Would Kycillia have gone and fired the laser? I always thought the whole "you killed our father" was just a convinient excuse to legitimize her coup against her brother rather than actually concern for the fatricide.What would be the terms? Who would be scapegoated and face punishment for the war crimes? Would the rest of Zeon be loyal enough to Degwin to accept the surrender?

Char would need the war as a cover to extract his vengeance on the other two Zabis.

Some elements of Zeon would have protested and morale would fall even further but fighting would continue. Kycilia might have jumped ship to escape to Axis if Gihren escaped A.Baoa.Qu’s fall. As for Degwin, likely permanent house arrest and relegation to irrelevancy.

Gihren on the other hand, what we do see of him mildly butting heads with Degwin was I think at least a little bit of good evidence that Gihren'd be, of anyone, the one to try and off him. >>23895436I can see Gihren rallying his loyalists to stage a coup and override the surrender. Kycllia escaping to axis makes sense as well. Not sure how both sides super weapons staying on the table would affect the outcome.
