Neat. I used to play this a ton. It's not a particularly GOOD game, but it's fun and a great time with friends.

Earlier version with some differences, STE has a bugger cast. If this sells well they'll probably bring back the rest of the cast.

Not really trye, they say 12 kaiju, so Showa MG is probably replacing Heisei MG
Storywise I think Unleashed retconned things so Showa MG was the 1st MG that the Aliens got and humans later based Heisei MG on him & then made Kiryu/MG3
This is more of a retcon fix if anything, development wise they kinda fused showa & heisei MG together too since they didn't know if they'd make more than one game.
I'd assume similar updates like making Gigan into Final Wars Gigan might happen.
