zuntata? either taito was involved (is the dev some subsidiary?) or they for some reason gave zuntata clearance to work freelance or something i dont know
>>23902706Depending on the source, either a company named Surveyor Corp. or Digital Frontier Inc. are the developers, who both seem to be independent from Taito. It's just interesting to me that this is the one non-Taito game they composed for.
>>23902719so i checked the moby games page and taito corp is listed in the special thanks section of the credits. my only guess is that some devs that surveyor corp might have been friends with the guys at zuntata or taito (could have been through connections or even ex-taito employees working at surveyor) and got some taito guy to pull some strings and let the team work on the game as contractors or something. maybe one of the zuntata guys wanted to work on the next gamera game no matter what because he already had a vision or something.
how Zuntata-y is it? iirc they're also behind some random blippy things like the Bubble Bobble tune (not specifically but similarly 8 bit BEEP BOOP BOOOP BEEP rather than the werid atmospheric stuff)kinda like how Tomita was also Toku OST Guy Isao Tomita when he wasn't Synth Music Artist Tomitaactually now that I think about it I wonder what else the Zuntatas have done when they're not making computers sing about fish
