Okay I saw the latest season of Roze and it wasn't good. I think the Code Geass storyline has concluded and it's not possible to extend it any further. The world is at peace and adding random new enemies doesn't work. The only way to bring back Geass is to do an alternate universe scenario where the characters are switched. Have Kallen support Beittannia. Have Instead Suzaku be an underground resistance fighter trying to liberate Japan. Have Lelouch be on the side of Brittannia but he wants to take over the throne from his father. Basically reverse everything. That would be very interesting. It has the potential to be done well.

I just watched the movie. I'm confused. Why didn't the new Shinkirou have an absolute defense field like before? Only arm shields This doesn't seem like an upgrade at all. It gets taken out easily. I'm also confused about the power levels of the new mecha. How powerful are hulkbuster armor that Guren and Lancelot wear? Why is Guren's radiation beam much stronger after Kallen purges her Hulkbuster armor? Shouldn't the big armor have a much stronger beam? The scorpion mecha tail beam overpowered her hulkbuster beam. But then scorpion lost to her normal Guren arm after the purge? How?This floaty flight technology that the desert nation uses for their mecha. How does it stack up against energy wings? She actually gets recovered along with Suzaku and gives him a Geass contract while Nemo gives Lelouch then Kallen the other.But yeah surprised that they never did a full spin off AU with Kallen as the main focus. You would think that would be a popular idea.

Holy moly I just watched all of Roze Recapture and it was fucking ABYSMAL. I can not even capture in a single post how much of a fumble of a sequel it is. In the quality of its writing, its setting, its characters, in every possible way it is inferior to the original series. Even the things it COPIES from the original verbatim are somehow twisted into worse versions. What the absolute FUCK were they thinking with that final act. Look at writers like Tomino and his most popular UC Gundam. Tomino doesn't answer all questions by the end. For MSG 0079, we saw that the White Base crew barely survived. But we didn't know what happened to them afterwards, or what happened to Zeon or the Federation. For Zeta, a similar thing happened except much darker with Kamille getting crippled and Char dying. I recall in one interview where Tomino specifically said that it's not necessary to answer all questions. Only the most important ones that are directly related to the characters. It helps keep the story focused on what's most important. One fan asked him about Sayla and the surviving White Base during later anime. Tomino replied that it's not necessary to show the endings of every single previous character. Sometimes their story naturally concluded, and it's not necessary to show them anymore. That they are just living their lives like the rest of us. In the case of Code Geass, the story ended so conclusively in favor of the "good guys" that it's nearly impossible to tell anymore stories in the same universe. The only way to move forward to do some sort of alternate universe Geass reboot. Maybe have it set in an alternate dimension. Give the characters different roles. Make Lelouch charismatic but evil, have Kallen choose to join Brittannia, Suzaku join Japan, etc.

A kind dictator is not possible because people view you as weak and try to rebel. 2. A wealthy elite always forms in all societies. In their greed to get more money, this elite often makes the lower classes suffer. Thus creating the elite upper class that everyone hates. 3. It would be impossible economically to make all cities prosperous. Economies have limited wealthy and usually concentrate that wealth in certain areas. Basic minimum standards could be forced in poorer areas but there's limits and the weather areas often become resentful having to subsidize poorer areas. So for Code Geass, some countries would be rich and others poor.4. Assuming Lelouch could overcome most of that with his Geass power, it wouldn't matter because he would live less than 100 years. And iirc the Geass power disappears after the caster dies.
