What is the takeaway of Newtypes in F91? On one hand, Seabook becomes a Newtype supremacist of a sort who believes that with guidance, the power of human connection will turn everyone into Newtypes. Cecily takes it a bit further not only that she is pro-commoner like Seabook but she also criticizes her father for not embracing being a Cyber Newtype (which happens implicitly by virtue of her seemingly not caring about the implication that her grandfather forced Corozzo to go through the process). On the other hand, Birgit makes it clear that prior Newtypes all lived miserable lives and it's revealed in the finale that Iron Mask's insanity comes from being a Cyber Newtype.

F91 is an incomplete story but as it stands its more about family than newtypeism or war and peace. Both Seabooks and Cecilys stories revolve around reconciling with their estranged family members and while Seabook is able to forgive his mother and see that deep down she cared about him (symbolized by the F91 she made that protects him during the war) Cecily has to accept that she needs to cut off her two-faced aristocrat relatives that only seek to exploit her. Seabook himself says that "We can think about what Newtypes mean when the war ends". What she really meant to criticize iron mask for is that he cant express that resentment for making him a cyber newtype to her grandfather and instead impotently hides his anger and resentment behind the mask. Iron mask thinks that his mask (a very literal symbol for hiding his true emotions and embracing his role within the family) will protect his family members from his own anger (he would beat his wife to death if it werent for the mask) but in reality the mask protects him from his family (he is afraid of actually expressing his resentment toward his father and going against him, he doesnt want to confront why his wife left him).

The Crossbone vanguard is dissolved and the war ends and only years later does bela start a whole new vigilante group that she calls the crossbone vanguard to attract former cosmo babylonia soldiers as allies
