I wouldn't say SEED does as good a job with it but a few characters are pretty well written and a few more are just generally likable. Personally though I never found Kira that interesting or relatable and that's more or less the biggest flaw of both shows for me. I think your average Asian sees more of themselves in him, I dunno. Freedom actually gives him an interesting dilemma though. Overall if SEED has any strength it's that sex and relationships are (mostly) handled well in it, I guess. It's absolutely a space opera, and heavy on the teen space opera. All the good Gundams are heavy on the space opera though. SEED just feels a lot like a teenager made it/that it's pandering too hard to teenagers. And it worked, if you were a teen in the 2000s it was a pretty good bit of media I think. Not the best, definitely overhyped, but so much worse out there. Like a lot of Gundams it mostly has trouble in the back half, lots of disappointing character conclusions.

Stargazer is a really small scale space lot that avoids the character pitfalls from SEED and Destiny by keeping things relatively simple. I two-starred the Infinite Justice (holding off on MLB as it is not quite a favorite of mine but more boss tickets for less energy is tempting) and one-starred the titular Stargazer despite actually wanting those new Astray units. 35k gems to spare so I'm good on luck.

Damn, that is lucky, the last few banners haven't been kind to me, but I've been not rolling that much in order to save for future events better, after stuff like half anniversary and Great Zeong (which I failed to get) happened. Now I'm mostly using tickets and a cursory paid 10-roll that gets refunded by the 3K we get.

Though, being fair I guess I used up my good luck on a roll in the Atlas banner that gave me 3 URs, though none I particularly wanted.

On another note: there are no free SP Conversion coins for Stargazer suits like there were for the previous few events, which really sucks. I still SP'd my Blu Duel, but I wanted to do the Kerberos too.
Feels like there were quite a few corners cut with this event. Blu Duel is missing its beam saber attack too, for some reason.

When are they adding My Unit?
Sometimes you have great suits lying around without any dedicated pilot, feels bad man.
