Like we never see him interact with Alan, and we never see him interact with that Ae-Ferario who rescued him either. >>23905212The real interesting part I found about Jerid is that he has several traits that would put him as a hero in another narrative, but he's working for the most corrupt and subverted organization in the series so he just becomes the worst version of himself possible because it's encouraged by everyone around him, he's a useful(well maybe not useful) idiot that's used by others while he's convinced he's in the absolute right due to being unable to let go of hatred, he's not a flattering character but he isn't suppose to be, he's a warning of what someone can become if they give into toxic influences.
