Just finished it and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a frantic pacing with almost every episode having a big fight or action sequence. And even then, i still think the show handled the characters well enough, or at least Rygart. His overall mannerisms and ways of acting and fighting feel pretty human, and how he comes to terms with everything around him. My second favorite character would probably be Girge, even if only because of how cool he was and his duel with rygart. The action was also a treat, this show is perfect for those who jerk off about robots having weight, because man, every single movement feels like it has an impact. The choreography and way of using said weight to me is just wonderful. Stuff like Delphine using the big blade to jump back at Zess' golem or the final weapon being just a big star of death to wail around. Also that OST really elevated the whole thing, really worth mentioning.I will say that at times it does feel like the show sucks rygart a bit too much but that still doesn't make me dislike the character. Overall, i think it's just a quality show, man. A very enjoyable watch. Shame it was only 12 episodes. Is the manga worth picking up where this left off? And on that regard, from what i understand, despite being marked as finished, the author sort of gave up and stopped, right? What caused that? Did he lose interest or what?Anyway, what did you anons think of this show and it's manga.

>>23908951Yeah, the author got bored and gave up. Every remaining plot thread, including Rygart VS Zess, got resolved off-screen in a "Did they or didn't they? You decide!" fashion. I enjoyed it up to that point, but the non-ending was just total ass.
Could have sworn it also had something to do with both the prequel OVA getting canned in pre-production and a motorcycle accident contributing to it. But yeah ending was ass in the manga. Sucks 'cause the world was interesting/potential there along with the OVA (Aliens invaded, terraformed the world and banged humans.). Ah well, least it was a fun ride up till that point.
