I genuinely like the hathaway movies and watch them a lot compared to other movies. The osts are fantastic as well which adds to the experience. Did you get to see any of them in theaters?

I did not get to watch them in theatres and I am tired of scraping by with a camrip, hope it is available digitally as soon as possible.

Yes.

I have not seen any of the Hathaway movies, but I like actual movies sometimes, even ones in black and white. Once in a while, I will even read books that have no pictures. It's like a manga but with no drawings. Isn't that crazy?

I watched Hathaway 1 in digital cinema, so it wasnt as dark cant see shit captain if you watch it on netflix

I watched Hathaway 2 in imax, because of the large screen, some of the scenes specially the zoomed out fight scenes made the Xi and Gustav Karl look too pixelated

SEED deviates heavily from the original Gundam after episode 30, with the main cast leaving the Federation counterpart and then deciding to take on both the not-Federation and not-Zeon at once.

Did you watch them overseas? I never noticed this in the Japanese release versions of imax
>>

I saw the second one in a theater in Japan. Didn’t see the first one and I only kind of know Japanese, so it was a very surreal, but cool experience.
I didn’t know about Sweet Child of Mine, so was flabbergasted when it started playing.

Yes. The Sound design was crazy and I swear I felt increasing physical air pressure during the Newtype combat scenes in the second movie and wondered if I was going schizo

But why booby Lacus

I cannot imagine watching these movies more than once within like the time span of years lol

I live in Japan and each week they give out different stuff for seeing it during theatrical runs like keychains, postcards, clear files, artbooks etc to incentivize hardcore fans to keep going, but I only went once.

They didn't give me SHIT when I went.

murricans got collectible cards, supposedly some asian countries' special premiere gave out HG Xi Gundam clear color variant model kits depending on the cost of the ticket

It's just a Gundam base kit. It's not really free because you're charged ticket + kit price. It's just theater limited merch
>>

Watched both in the cinema, pretty nice. It was the late night showing and there were only like 20-30 ish people, mostly dudes, probably like in their 30s. There were some who seem to be in the 50s too.

I think they're shit.
Too clean, completely lost the grittiness and aesthetic of the original.

>>23909749
I live in Japan too and I didn't even go to the cinema to see them. I watched Kamen Rider and had sex instead

So what you're telling us is that you're a gooner. Got it.

I feel like the demographic is a lot different depending where you live. Only 2-3 people in the theater but young
