It's so weird that Carranger and Gingaman just completely ignored the "mechs combining with other mechs" aspect of their Zords when half the fun of them in the first place is seeing what new combinations they form. Did they have super low budgets or something? Why didn't we get a "Turbo Racer Megazord" or a "Stratoforce Torozord?"

>>23928634I don't think making new molds for the movie designs was ever in the cards, they just released chromed versions of the regular Rangers without the automorphin' gimmick for the movie. They made ninja ranger figures, but those costumes were partly reused for the TV series and they likely figured they were close enough and were released under the regular TV line instead of for the movie. DX robo molds are probably the most time consuming and costly Sentai/PRfigures to make in a given line, and it likely just wasn't worth it to make a whole new similar but different one when the TV series was just going to use Kakuranger footage anyway. Only Ooze and the two minion robots got whole new molds out of the villains, and they were limited to the 8'' scale. Gundam double X is shit
These fucking things. They just show up in Kakuranger for no fucking reason. The issue wasn't that the Giant Beast Generals weren't strong enough to defeat the resurrected yokai, it was that if they DID defeat them, they'd also kill the children linked to them. So they stood down and got curbstomped. But then they introduce the Beast General Fighters like they're some mighty upgrade (when the issue was never strength), do not clarify that the Fighters possess some sort of "can kill resurrected yokai without harming linked children" power, and then just destroy the monsters as if the Giant Beast Generals were incapable of it. And then, the Fighters only get like three or four fights before they get curbstomped by Gashadokuro in the middle of the series and never show up again. The fuck was the point?
