>>23914716Zeztz fans don’t even tell you it’s peak anymore, they just look at you like this.
>>23914716Could have done without the talk no jutsu attempt but the fight was neat
What are your pros and cons on the 40th episode?
We all love the VaguepostGOD
>>23914774Con: didn't like them having Baku get shot so he can end up unconscious so we can have the fight in the dream world was very forced since they wanted Baku to do a henshin alongside NoxCatastrom is apparently free even though Baku used it last episode Next week is yet another mind control fight between Baku and NoxPro: Nox actually fucking doing something and the team up fight was nice. Really liked the dual finisher. Zero clearing out the Code executives was a neat scene
>>23914774Every second Sieg is alive is a failure of Baku as a hero. They have given him multiple chances and he continues to be a ruthless killer asshole. Their thoughts that “everyone can change” is weird after the show killed Three and nobody complained about that. I’d argue Three had as much right to live as Sieg, and if he deserved to die then so does that asshole.Even if he doesn’t have powers anymore, leaving Nem with his previous kidnapper willingly is crazy work for a Reiwa hero.
He probably won't get one unless there's a movie or something but I hope Sieg gets a powerup of some sort just because his base suit looks great as is. I have no idea what they could do to improve the color scheme though because Nox has blue and Baku has red and gold already. Maybe orange?
>>23914793Dachi survived to the end of Geats despite all the bullshit he pulled this is not the first time the series has allowed psychos to stay alive. Not like they can kill Sieg anyway since they'd have to erase their memories of him
>>23914796The coat reminds me the one they had the riders wear during Geats in the dgp segments probably the same one just slightly modified
>>23914798>Dachi survived to the end of Geats despite all the bullshit he pulled this is not the first time the series has allowed psychos to stay aliveGeats had the same hack of a writer as Zeztz.>Not like they can kill Sieg anyway since they'd have to erase their memories of himThat's just bullshit they made up just to keep him alive. This should apply to every dead character, especially since Sieg's not fused with a Nightmares anymore, but it doesn't.
>>23914797He doesn't deserve an upgrade, he deserves death and oblivion.
where tf is the mega link goddamn
>>23914815>This should apply to every dead character None of them merged with a nightmare like Sieg dand he was effectively powerless after getting killed the first time. As far as everyone is concerned he's fucking powerless again and they've got more important shit to deal with than a depressed dream walker sulking in a corner>Same Hack writerI do not care. multiple riders throughout the franchise have been villains and done heinous shit before becoming allies or do they need to get executed too?
>>23914716Kamen Rider has no Mechas tho
>>23914850Are you new? /m/ encapsulates everything Uchuusen, that includes toku
>>23914850Now fuck off, Shoo.
>>23914761The last 3 episodes were reserved for a Discord chat's private watch party We don't even know what the last ones were like because we got ghosted
>>23914716>>23914774Pretty mediocre episode again. The thief brothers storyline was whatever, it was quite predictable with the older brother following in his brother's footsteps before realizing it wasn't okay at the end. The conclusion was kinda abrupt, the cops put him in cuffs right after he gets exorcised, they tell him to stop committing crimes and to mourn his brother in peace, he facepalms and that's it.The attempts to redeem Sieg's cringey ass are still painfully forced and ridiculous. I don't buy Nem's whole "there's no one the world's better off without" speech at all, it falls especially flat just a few episodes after Three got offed, and the fact that she's this insistent on redeeming Sieg makes what she said about not forgiving him last week mean nothing.Zero kicking ass with Booster's powers and trying to reform CODE while holding himself accountable for his past misdeeds is cool, he continues to be one of the show's best characters. This is how you make a redeemable character, not whatever the fuck they're doing with Nox and Sieg.Baku pondering on what he wants to do after all of this is over is neat, but the resolution of what his dream is is nothing we didn't know already and the whole thing kinda came out of nowhere, like they just did it to tie it into the thief brother storyline. But we got another instance of Minami being best girl out of it, so it's not too bad.Baku getting shot felt kinda room, especially since Nem got to patch him up in a few minutes anyways, just felt like an excuse to quickly get him into the dream world without using Exdream so he could have his double Henshin with Nox.The cops were once again minimally useful this week. They did very little, but they did something, most notably Fujimi putting the thief brother into a hold for a minute and them giving him a short pep talk at the end, even though that didn't stop him from going back to prison and possibly spending the rest of his days there.
>>23914935 cont.Nox briefly went back to his vagueposting ways, foreshadowing how he's gonna go full retard again next week. The fight was good, though it was once again carried by the directing and SFX since the suit actors' movements are quite sloppy. To the surprise of absolutely nobody except that one anon who thought they had an interesting and not at all predictable mystery going on, the Nightmares were the ones who stole the Somnia Capsem. We were also introduced to what's ostensibly the final boss of the show, in a way that doesn't feel very grand. Also, I would've liked to have actually seen Phantom take over The Lady, instead of having the cliffhanger from last episode and then just seeing the end result after Nox casually walks into the room.
>>23914818Looks like the last hurrah of our Zero. Sad since he's one of the best characters.>>23914815>That's just bullshit they made up just to keep him alive. Is Sieg even alive? I mean in the real world. Can they bring back Kureha and Five in the Dream world?Too bad Kureha and Natsuka were so underutilized in the second part. At least Natsuka would have something to do.
>>23914840>None of them merged with a nightmare like Sieg dand he was effectively powerless after getting killed the first timeHe's not merged with a Nightmare anymore, he shouldn't have this power anymore, but he still does. Why? Because he's the only one they wanted to bring back.>As far as everyone is concerned he's fucking powerless again and they've got more important shit to deal with than a depressed dream walker sulking in a cornerThey're still wasting their time trying to redeem him, anon. It's not like they're ignoring him, they're actively trying to redeem him.>multiple riders throughout the franchise have been villains and done heinous shit before becoming allies or do they need to get executed too?The best ones either actually fucking die for real or have better reasons for doing evil things and are actually remorseful so they end up having far better redemption arcs. They've killed off far more benevolent characters in this franchise for less, shitty redemption arcs like this one are most common in Takahashi's shows.
>>23914955>Is Sieg even alive? I mean in the real world.Does it really matter when he's still in the show constantly interacting with the other characters? It's not like we ever saw him in the real world outside of flashbacks anyways.>Can they bring back Kureha and Five in the Dream world?Even if they can, they're obviously not in a hurry to do so since it would take screentime away from their precious Sieg.
>>23914947 cont.Oh yeah, and Nasuka STILL doesn't know that Kureha's fucking dead. It's been over a month already and they still haven't addressed this.
>>23914955Gonna be honest signs seem to point to no since everyone thought he was dead after Baku beat him. And unless they pull some nonsense and have him show up again in the real world, I think the flashback of him merging with Punish killed his real body and made him a permanent dream world creature
>>23914959All redemptions in rider shows are shitty.
>>23914989If you've only watched Takahashi's shows, maybe.
>>23914959>Had "good" reasons or were remorseful Still evil. Feeling bad afterwards doesn't undo the damage they caused.
>>23914999>Feeling bad afterwards doesn't undo the damage they caused.Yes, but a former villain realizing this and striving to do better while trying to pay for what he did is what makes for a good redemption arc. Sieg doesn't bother with any of this, he doesn't want to be redeemed, but they're still trying to force a redemption on him.
>>23914794>CatastromIs this Baku's turn of going controlled? Catastrophe's also going on a rampage next ep
>>23914716I loved the part were Baku had a big monologue trying to convince the guy to give up just for him to go "nah, I wanna steal stuff" and shoot him.It was like pic related with the roles reversed
>>23914964Did they even interacted post-reset? I thing they really threw away an interesting character arc for both characters. First thing Baku should have said after everyone got their memories back was telling Nasuka about it.>>23915344Funny this happening after just seeing in theaters the new Masters of the Universe movie that pulled basically the same thing with He-man trying to talk no jutsu with Skeletor just for him say "Nah, I'm a vilain". But He-man just proceeds to curbstomp Skeletor in an amazing way for the end of the movie. I liked how it shows that he hero can offer an opportunity for redemption and change his way but if the villain is not interested, why bother? Just fuck him up. Same could be applied to Sieg here and I think he's only still useful for his info on Code Somnia capsem.
Yeah this show is pretty lame now. Thankfully not BAD I suppose, but definitely not as good as it could've been. I honestly think that Sieg ruined the show: Amano is an amazing actor and I'm glad he's still enthusiastic about Rider, but he's clearly a writer's pet and I feel every other character suffered as a result of his existence. I don't give a fuck about female riders, but Kureha would've made for a much more interesting tertiary for example because she had a much better foundation as a character plus would've made Nasuka a more relevant character. Just like how Fujimi has Nox, Nasuka would've had Kureha. And as someone already pointed out, she doesn't even know she's dead lolI hope Takahashi doesn't write anything for a while.
They just completely forgot about the Recovery Capsem.
Case 40.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtHv1kLPOm0
>>23915625>writer's petI now remembered it was Takahashi's idea for Garren to get a King form in Outsiders
>>23915625Completely schizo opinion where they wrote a paragraph that says ultimately nothing. "I don't like this, but they should have done it" and "This character is bad because (doesn't give reason)". Reads like you're 19 and get opinions from Youtubers
>>23915682You know the show is bad when its fans have to bring up stock non-arguments like the ones you just did because they can't really defend the actual content of the show.
>>23915668Makes perfect sense.>>23915682>"This character is bad because (doesn't give reason)".He's an obnoxious manchild that they made a huge bravado in "killing", but then he comes back as if nothing happened complete with a pisspoor attempt at comedy relief. And then Takahashi is trying to dindufy him by separating him from the Nightmare he fused with because Nem all of a sudden thinks he can change. And yet he's still a sociopathic psycho that they barely tolerate.>Reads like you're 19 and get opinions from YoutubersProbably better than a schizo manchild that's trying (and failing) to troll a thread of a Japanese children's show. Grow up, man.
>>23915645If they didn't have Zero making a new Zeztz driver, they could at least come with an excuse. I was sure Baku would just ask Nem to use the recovery capsem on him.
>>23914790>next episode they don't discuss anything and go back to fighting one another
>>23914716 (OP)>>23914774A weaker conclusion to the previous ep,.but with some good moments. Not really a fan out of how the Shiranami Brothers plot was handled and wish there was a little more time to flesh out Kinnosuke getting pulled back into crime. Kinnosuke trading ideologies with Baku was surprisingly tense and well acted, and his shooting Baku followed by recoiling in shock was also well done. However, making a big show of potentially sending Kinnosuke back to jail, only to seemingly let him go was a little too quick. The aftermath of Baku being shot also went by pretty fast, with Baku writhing as Nemu extracted the bullet with little fanfare to the point it was almost gag-like. Not sure how to feel about that.Zero handling CODE's officials was also a highlight. Though it almost makes you wonder why he bothered handling things officially when he's practically the only top agent who isn't corrupt.Nox and Baku finally teaming up was a little rushed, but as the main action set piece, it was fun. Great usage of their new abilities with Baku shooting through Nox, as well as the iron maiden illusion, and the pincer attack Double Rider Kick was chef's kiss. The Gore Nightmare was also strangely handled like a footnote. I had to go back and check to make sure I didn't miss a scene of Phantom taking over The Lady. The gathering of the four seemed more like the opening of an episode, not the end stinger.>>23914935>I don't buy Nem's whole "there's no one the world's better off without" speech at all, it falls especially flat just a few episodes after Three got offed, and the fact that she's this insistent on redeeming Sieg makes what she said about not forgiving him last week mean nothing. There's nothing wrong with what she said though. She's choosing to stick to her beliefs rather than let her hatred of Sieg change them. It's pretty staple character work. It may be wasted on Sieg, but it makes sense.
which is the best looking?
Bigger image.
>>23916240>There's nothing wrong with what she said though. She's choosing to stick to her beliefs rather than let her hatred of Sieg change them. It's pretty staple character work. It may be wasted on Sieg, but it makes sense.I don't agree with what she said given the absolute monsters we've seen in the franchise, but even if I did, it's absolutely tone deaf for the show to say this shit shortly after mercilessly killing off another recurring villain. Nem has also never worked this hard to redeem a villain before, so it just feels like Sieg is getting special treatment as the show bends over backwards to try and force a redemption on him even though he's arguably the least redeemable character in it.
>>23916240>However, making a big show of potentially sending Kinnosuke back to jail, only to seemingly let him go was a little too quick. They didn't let him go, they put him in cuffs at the end, he's going back to prison.
>>23915682don't even bother they write wrong shit 24/7 and pass it off as facts rather than opinions kek
>>23916603See how you and the other retard don't actually talk about the show, don't even mention the characters nor what happened in this episode? It's because neither of you retards have any real arguments to defend it with.
